Hitch put the last of the papers away. It was Saturday evening and tonight, he was going to spend the evening with his marefriend, Sunny. He smiled, putting the papers into a folder and tucking them neatly into his back. He swung his bag on his back, trotting towards the crystal lighthouse that the 5 friends had built together. 

Hitch rang the doorbell. The glass door opened. Hitch went into the sitting room and sat down. “I’m coming!” shouted Sunny. 
Sunny came in, holding a collection of canapes. “Wow!” said Hitch. “Somepony’s been busy!”
Sunny nodded. “Well,” she said. “What do you wanna do? Watch a movie? Play a board game? Play a video game? Sit and chat?”
“Um...” he said.
“You’re the guest,” she said, kissing him on his cheek. “You choose.”
“Um...” he said. “Um... what about we watch a movie?”
“What do you wanna watch?” she asked.
“Raponyzel?” he suggested. “Sorry, I mean Tangled.”
“Tangled it is,” she replied, logging onto Disney Plus. “Help yourself,” she said. “Go on.”

He smiled. “Actually, I changed my mind. La La Land.”
“Ooh!” squealed Sunny. “I love that film!”
She logged out of Disney Plus and put the La La Land DVD in the player. They sat on their butts, staring intently at the screen. 

“Emma Stone is amazing, isn’t she?” said Hitch, halfway through the movie.
“Yes,” replied Sunny. “So is Ryan Gosling.”

Hitch nodded, singing City of Stars softly. She smiled. “You’ve got a good voice,” she said. 
He blushed, as red as a tomato. “Thanks,” he replied shyly.
She kissed him gently on his cheek again. “You’re an amazing pony,” she said.
He blushed again. 



When the movie had ended, Sunny looked out of the window. It was raining.
“You can’t go home in this weather!” she cried. “You have to stay!”

Hitch looked at her nervously. “Fine,” he said.
