"Sam, can you come with me?" Miss May spoke softly offering her hand to me. I simply nodded and held her hand. She walked me to a room. "Don't worry. Just go in. There are people that wanted to see you."
"Oh... ok." I sheepishly answered. I opened the door and spotted two grown up.
"Hello there ." She happily waved at me. "My name is Barbara and this is my husband, Robert. What's your name ?"
"My... my name is Sam." I answered.
"Hello, Sam. From now on, we're gonna be your new parents. She held my hand. "Let's go to your new home."
We finally make it to the Sparkle's household. For some reason on the way here, I saw all the ponies we had passed looking at me strangely. Some of them even looked at me with fear. This reminds me of something Twilight said earlier but i can't remember what. Maybe there is something about me that rubs them the wrong way.
"Oh, sorry for all the mess, princess. If we knew, we would have cleaned up." Velvet quickly picks up all the books ,charts and toys.
"Would you like something to drink, princess Celestia?" Night Light asks while leading her to a seat.
" A cup of tea will be nice." Celestia looks over to us. "I want to talk to your parents alone. So can you take Twilight and Midnight up stair, Shining."
"Understood princess." Shining salutes like a soldier then escorts us upstair. I notice he didn't bring the dragon.
I raise a hoof. "Uhm... Shining." He turns his head toward me. "I can't actually walk, yet. I was literally borned earlier today. So i need some helps here." He uses magic to levitate me upstair.

"You have a lot of books, Twilight." I answer impressed with the amount of books she has. This room is filled with bookshelf stuffed with books and there are charts, calculation from what i can read, litter around.
"I love to read. Do you want to read something?" Twilight asks then moves to collect a book. "Magic 101: All you need to get start with magic." I don't know if this is mine or Twilight. But i really want to learn magic. "Ok, let's read."
"Shining, Twilight, Midnight please come downstair, dear." Velvet voice comes from downstair. We close the book. I stand up to walk but then stumble onto the floor. "Oh, right. Come walk, yet." I think loudly.
"You go first, Twily. I will help her down." Twilight happily answers back. "Ok, Shining." When she is out of sight. Shining stares down at me.
"Jeez, Shining. I know you are an over protective older brother. But i am only a helpless little clone of your sister right now. I can't even walk so i can not even hurt Twilight physically anyway." I see him tenses up at the last comment. "Lighten up, Shining. I was just joking." I smiles.
"Well... joke or not, i have my eyes on you. I won't let you hurt Twilight in anyway." Shining says seriously.
Quickly, i answer back. "Wouldn't dream of it. I actually want to learn more than anything else. I don't know if it because of Twilight personality or mine or both. So you can assure yourself, Shining , i won't harm her in anyway shape or form."
"You promise." still with a serious tone.
"Promise." I answer back smiling at him. "Now you should bring me down or Twilight will question why we took so long."
A few minutes ago
"So let get right to point, princess. You want us to adopt her, don't you?" Velvet asks.
"Yes, that is indeed what i want. Mrs.Sparkle."Celestia takes a sip of tea.
They look at each other with wary expression then back to the princess. "To be honest, princess. We have already had two children. You can't expect us to take another one out of the blue. We haven't prepared for this. And don't even talk about the baby dragon. "
"You don't need to worry. I will provide for you to take care of them. Everything for my new pupil, Twilight Sparkle." Celestia reassures them.
"Although we didn't interact much with her, we have a gut feeling that she has a mind of her own and not just a copy of our daughter. How is that possible, princess?" Night Light asks.
"Even i don't know how that possible. When i first met Midnight, she explained to me about her memory receiving from Twilight. The way she answered me was like she had already had a personality to begin with and was being combine with Twilight. I don't think she is a bad pony. I see a confusedly new borned little filly that need a family. If you don't want her, I will gladly take care of her." Celestia answers.
"This is all too sudden, princess. We need to discuss thing first. Can you excuse us for a moment?" Velvet asks.
"Very well, i know this is too much to take in so take your time." Celestia answers with another sip of tea. Then Velvet and Night Light walk into the kitchen.
After a while, they come back. "So... have you made up your mind?" Velvet answers. "Yes, princess. Our discussion is..."
"Well, at everypony are here. We have something to announce." Velvet says. "After some talks , we decided to adopt Midnight." Continue with Night Light. Huray, my second adoption. My face shows no emotion while Twilight is overjoyed. "Yay we will be the very best sister." She hugs me. I look around. Atleast somepony is happy about this. Then i notice Celestia. I wonder what she is thinking. She is the only pony that doesn't look at me funny. Well she is a ruler, politicians are good at hiding stuff.
Celestia walks toward me. "Since today is your birthday, Midnight. Do you want me to give you something?"
"Well, i like drawing. You can give me some art supplies, princess Celestia." I answer with less nervous than before i first met her. Maybe, Twilight memory affect on my personality is temporary. Well, there is a good news at least.
"Very well, tomorrow, i will send them to you. Happy birthday, Midnight." Celestia then turns away. "It is now getting late. So i will take my leave. Hope to see you soon, Twilight , Midnight."
After we say goodbye to princess Celestia, we start dinner. I feel hopeless like a baby sitting there while everypony else set the table.
During dinner isn't better either, everypony use their magic to hold spoon. I look down at my soup. I wonder how other ponies eat without magic. I just give up holding the bowl with my hooves and drinking it. I put down the bowl and see that they are still wary of me.
"Well, i'm happy that our family has two new members. " Velvet says with a forced smile.
"Um... Midnight. Do you want something for your birthday?" Night Light asks.
"Well... I did ask for a gift earlier from Celestia. So... i don't have anything in mind right now." I answer.
"What about you, Twilight? Do you want us to get you something for passing the exam and becoming princess Celestia protégé?" Velvet asks. I look at Twilight. Strange that i don't remember this.
"Does that mean you will become a princess, Twilight?" I curiously ask. Everypony look at me with wide eyes. Was it something i said? This is kind of awkward. "So... where will i and the dragon be sleeping?" That snaps them back to reality.
"Oh... Well, we didn't expect to have a dragon and another child. So you can share a room with us." Velvet answers.
"Mom mom can Midnight sleep with me?" Twilight asks.
"I don't see why not." Velvet turns to me. "So, Midnight. Where do you want to sleep?"
"I will choose..." -Twilight looks at me with her puppy dog eyes- "Twilight. I guess."

After dinner, I spend all my time learning to walk. Twilight sits there observing me and writing down note. Shining keeps his eyes on me. I can see him being a guard in the future. I don't think i saw him blink for awhile.
"Time for bed. Remember to brush your teeth." Velvet turns to me. "Do you need any help, Midnight?"
"Yes, ma'am." Velvet takes me to the bathroom. I look into the mirror and stare blankly at it.
"What's wrong, Midnight?" Velvet asks with an uncertain tone.
I look at her then back to mirror. "Well... Velvet. I haven't looked at myself all day. I thought i only look like Twilight with different color mane and tail. I didn't know i have eyes with turquois sclera ,dark pupil serpent like pupil. Is this the reason why everypony look at me different?"
"What do you mean?" Velvet raises an eyebrow.
"I am very observant, Velvet. I know you and your family are cautious of me. Well... except for Twilight. I understand why you are cautious. I look like an evil clone of your daughter and ponies fear the unknown. But you don't need to worry, my only desire for now is living. Nothing less nothing more."
There was silence for a moment. "*cough* If you said so honey."
After brushing my teeth and taking a bath, i lie next to Twilight.
"Goodnight, Twilight. Goodnight, Midnight." Velvet closes the door
"Goodnight, Midnight. *Yawn*"
I smile a little. "Goodnight, Twi."
