Chapter 6: Captured
I open my eyes to see that I’m in what appears to be the throne room of Canterlot Castle. I walk through the empty room and call out, “Uh... Hello! Is anypony here?”
Suddenly, six statues appear in front of me. They were of my friends. I walk up to them an the one of Rainbow blinked. I jump back in surprise.
It stares at me with soulless eyes and says, “Why didn’t you protect me Seth? I thought you said you loved me! But that was obviously a lie because you failed me! You failed all of us!”
I try to respond to this by saying that I can tell that this is all a dream, but when I did no sound came out. While trying to speak the other statues came to life and started to chant “You failed us” over and over again. It was getting kind of annoying and I wanted to tell them to shut up, but I would of been no use.

My eyes then slowly open and I set up to observe my surroundings. I was now in that wooden prisoner cart. Which was dark due to the only light that was there was coming from a small barred window on the door. I put my hoof on my neck to feel the metal collar still around my neck, yet the chain was gone.
“Are you awake Seth?” asks The Princesses voice.
“Yeah. Wait, you got captured too? Are any of the others here?”
“Yeah, they got one of those anti-magic collars on me too, and a metal band pinning my wings to my body. And no. Thankfully the others grabbed the Elements and got away before this wingless gargoyle wearing a mask captured me.”
“That was Inferno, he’s from my universe and there’s some bad blood between us.”
“Care to explain? I mean I heard you mention him one or twice.”
“Okay 1,300 years ago the griffins and gargoyles were at war and Inferno, who was the leader of the gargoyle nation said, “Hey, you know what? I want to take Equestria too!” So in an ill conceived plan to psych Celestia and Luna out, he came to Equestria and killed the royal guard captain, who happened to be Celestia’s lover. She got pissed and they used the Elements of Harmony on him. When they did he was sent to this space between the mutiverse where he was trapped. Until Discord thought, “Hey why don’t I create a male unicorn?” and snapped his fingers creating me. And since the mutiverse acts in weird ways apparently, said creation caused the shield ,that all universes apparently have, around the universe that we both happened to be from to weaken. While it was doing this he decided to contact me in my dreams because lets face it he’s obviously not the brightest guy. When he did I contacted Princess Celestia about it, when she explained to me who he was. I then went to Canterlot to learn some combat magic so I could fight him when he came back. When he did, well I’ll be honest at first he totally kicked my flank. I mean I was on the ground, unable to get up, with some cracked ribs and also bleeding. Then he made the biggest mistake he could of made. He insulted Rainbow. Which you can probably guess is a soft spot for me. So then I became, as Pinkie Pie puts it, Super-Mega-Powerful-Mary Sue-Seth and you can see what he looks like now.”
“You did that to him?!”
“Hey nopony insults my girl. If you recall I killed Dopple for the same reason.”
It was silent for a second before she asked, “You said he killed a lover of that universe’s version of my mother, who was a royal guard captain. Do you know what his name was?”
“Yeah, his name was Claymore, in fact I met him once via time travel. Why do you ask?”
“That was my father’s name.”
I was about to respond, but we came to a stop and the door opened revealing the gargoyle we were talking about with two stone gargoyles holding spears.
“Okay you two chop-chop Drez and Chrysalis will be glad to see you. Or at least Filia here.” Said Inferno.

We were then escorted by spear point to what used to be the royal sister’s throne room. On the way there I said aloud, “So Inferno how have you hit rock bottom.”
“What are you saying?” He responded.
“I’m saying that you the former leader of the gargoyle nation now just a lackey for someone else, who actually succeeded at taking over Equestria. Yet, it’s best to assume that he must be smarter than you. I mean what idiot would show up at the castle and tell the princesses “Hey, I’m planing on attacking you.”? How you got power in the first place is beyond me. Let me guess you used that we want equality bull crap you told me.”
“Shut up or I’ll rip you throat out!” he shouted turning towards me.
“Oh like I did with your wings, three of your fingers and your ear?” Man, I’m ballsy today.
Inferno turned around and didn’t say anything until we reached the throne room. “My Lord and Queen, I’ve captured Princess Filia Solis and Dopple’s murderer, Setali Depongono le Uova di Disarmonia or if you prefer you can refer to him as Seth.” Inferno then snapped his fingers and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
We were made to walk up to two thrones. As we were I notice several familiar faces that were now in stone form. In order there was Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, Rarity, Rainbow and Princess Luna. Something occurred to me that I asked to Princess Filia.
“Why isn’t there a statue of Celestia?”
“My mom is strapped to this machine that makes her move the sun and moon, but prevents all other magic. Kinda like these purple gems on these collars. You can’t use spells and others can’t use a tracking spell to find you.”
“That explains why day and night have been transitioning normally. And why the others haven’t saved us yet.” Keeping one of the Princesses so you won’t be trapped in internal day or night. They thought this out so I’ll give them that. Now that I said internal day now I wonder if there’s a universe where the Nightmare Moon incident happened to Celestia instead of Luna? I can’t think of that now.
We stop in front of the thrones. One contained the Changeling Queen, who I was familiar with in my universe because I hit that Chrysalis in the face with a brick. Hey have you ever hit a Queen with a brick? It becomes a highlight of your life. I mean who else can say that?
Back on track the other one was setting a very large, my guess about 8 feet tall, reptilian creature. It had silver scales that reflected in the sunlight like they were made of metal. It’s body was mostly gargoyle-like, but the face resembled a dragon more. Especially the shape of his orange-red eyes. I also saw a scar along his neck. So it was best to assume that this was Lord Drez.
I have to say now that I know what he looks like the idea of these two rutting is even more disturbing.
Chrysalis started laughing, “Ah Princess, so good to see you again. So you got outmatched by that broken gargoyle huh?”
“Burn in Tartarus!” Filia responded.
“Oh temper, temper. Did those anger management classes your mother put you through teach you anything?”
“How do you know about that?!” Filia asked with a blush.
“I read parts of Celestia’s diary. Very long, but there’s some very interesting stuff in there.” She turns to me and says, “So you are the one who killed my nephew.”
“I my defense he threatened to snap my horn and called my girlfriend a bitch.”
“Ah yes, this girlfriend of your’s. I can sense your love for her. So pure, so sweet, so delicious. As much as I hate to pass up a good meal, I will not tolerate the killing of my family.”
She leans over to Drez and whispers something in his ear. Drez shakes his head and Chrysalis says, “Very well. You Filia shall become part of our collection.” She motions her hoof towards the statues. “And you Seth will be hung at the gallows tomorrow afternoon.”

After she finished the two of us were sent in different directions. I was put into a cell for holding until tomorrow. Ever since she said it many questions flouted in my mind. Is this it? Am I going to be executed tomorrow? And is “Yeah, whatever.” really going to be the last thing I ever said to Rainbow? And what about my friends? What if they fail? Sure they’d be upset if I was dead, but if they fail at taking down those two, they’ll probably be made into statues or killed too. And they all have families back home, granted I never met anypony from Rainbow’s, Pinkie’s or Fluttershy’s, but still how would any of them take it? If that happened, would it be my fault? Was my dream right? Did I fail them?
