Danger wasn’t that really bothered about losing the second sprint to Oscura as he actually enjoyed the battle he had. He wanted to get a nice, clean start for the 51 laps in the race ahead. His plan was to jump off Oscura off the line and lead the race. His second and backup plan was to wait for the moment when Oscura crashes. Crimsonia mentally hoped she would crash too, unbeknowst to Danger.

Rainbow was hoping to win her first Grand Prix since joining Aston Martin’s predecesor, Racing Point in 2020. Meanwhile in 16th place, Twilight Sparkle felt an out-of-experience and channeled in inner-Danger and when the lights went out, she went for it. Passing four cars to get into 12th place and was now behind Rusalka Swordlight. When the chicane came into view, Twilight caught the 2009 champion on the entry and was now chasing the top 10. With Beatrice Radiance being her next victim for a potential overtake, she hoped the remaining laps will be easy.
Meanwhile, Danger’s plan backfired slightly. After being jumped off the line by Akula, he was relying on plan B, which was a potential crash from Oscura. He wanted Lady Luck to dance with him but predictablity would be his own worst enemy.
At turn 3 on lap 3, Rainbow had overtaken Aria by diving on the inside and was chasing Danger. With Oscura pulling away from the field. The chances of her get a win was, at the moment, non-existent.
On lap 6, Oscura was now approaching the 28th place Bentley of Kaitlin Thunderstorm and see wasted no time passing her on the straight before turn 15. But as she making a pass on the Renault of Lemon Zest, Oscura’s front-left wheel bashed into the rear-right of Lemon Zest’s Renault, causing the Renault to jiggle but Lemon Zest corrected instantly.
Several laps passed and Danger had caught up with Akula and, in tandem, opened a 5 second gap from Rainbow. Viral was also racking up places. And after Danger passed Akula on lap 13, Viral was now in the top 5 after catching the Ferrari napping on the chicane. Danger didn’t tell Crimsonia about ‘Plan C’ which was to overtake Oscura during the race.
Sonic Flash had overtaken the Lionfire sisters while Iris Dayspark was overtaken by the Ferrari of Rusalka Swordlight. Sonic was hoping that his peformance would be worthy of a Ferrari seat (even though Danger told him that for next year). Undeterred by this, he was now chasing Aria in 6th place.
The race so far had no cars crashing into anything yet, even though there were a few close moments as Oscura was being hampered by backmarkers. First Midnight Skies on lap 15 and Sayori Blitz on lap 17.
However on lap 19, while battling for 14th place, the Aston Martin of Lightning Dust had a tangle with the Porsche of Flash Sentry at turn 14 which sent Lightning into a spin. Both cars suffered little damage and headed to the pits for repairs.
On lap 22, Oscura had had enough of being held up by the Porsche of Rin Powershock. Her gap between her and Danger was now 0.4 seconds and at turn 16, while going for opportunity to pass Danger was checked up by Rin and on the exit, the rear-left wheel collided with Danger’s front-right wheel with so much force that it rolled the RBOSC1 over! The car skided on it’s top side before coming to a rest and a small impact to the barrier
Crimsonia wanted to know what Danger was up to.
“What happened, Danger?” Crimsonia asked.
“I tried to get passed Rin as she was a lapped car and I didn’t know where on the turn Oscura was and don’t worry, it wasn’t me that rolled.” Danger replied
The red flag was needed as recovery teams attempted to bring the RB18 of Oscura back onto it’s wheels.

The restarted on lap 23 while Danger getting a fantastic start and at turn 1, Sunset Shimmer passed the Bentley of Fluttershy and Iris to get up to 9th place whilst Rainbow got a bad getaway and was passed Viral and Aria.
Danger led the race after getting a good start from Akula but something untoward was going on. Before Oscura rolled over, the impact from the wheel sent a small shockwave and damage the steering arm. It was fixed however, but not to a degree that Danger liked. As lap 25 came, the steering was starting to seize but there was one that sets apart from other drivers, the ability to improvise when in tough scenarios.
Despite being overtaken by Akula on lap 26, Danger was using a new steering technique that no one knew about.
On lap 28, Sonic was now in 5th place after overtaking Aria and was now in with a chance to overtake Viral. As Sonic exited turn 15, Lukas decided to give him a heads-up.
“Sonic, just to make sure you were aware that Danger is experience steering problems with the car and is about 5 tenths a lap slower than the leader.” Lukas told him.
“Do you think he might stop at any chance?” Sonic asked.
“If it gets worse, I imagine he would. I looked in to the replays before the restart and I think he damaged the steering after his crash with Oscura.” Lukas replied.
“He can pull thorough. I believe him.” Sonic said.
Danger pitted on lap 29 for a new steering wheel as he was unsatisfied with the understeer in some of the turns. He rejoined in 7th place, behind Sonic and Rainbow. While he was in the pits, the Crimson Arrows were first and second and Aria was in third. On lap 30 however, something was on Aria’s mind.
“Brio, can you notify Danger that if the understeering and the seizures gets worse, he may need to retire because I’m suddenly starting to get some understeer in turn 14 to 18 as well.”
“Acknowledged, Aria.”
The only Ferrari that wasn’t understeering in the corners or porpoising on the straight was Rusalka’s. It seemed that Rusalka had developed immunity for this as she passed Danger lap 32 as he too was porpoising on the straights. She noticed that Danger was slower than her and was oblivious as to why that is.
Things got from bad to worse for the British Speedfreak as on lap 36, his car overheated and his display on the steering wheel turned off completely. This was Danger’s second retirement so far. He was also comforted by Crimsonia about the fact he manged to make hay with the understeering on the F1-75. A Virtual Safety Car was needed.
During the pitstops, both Crimson Arrows and Ferrari had to double stack the pitstops. With Akula coming out first and the Aston Martin of Rainbow in 2nd.

The race restarted on lap 38 with Akula leading Rainbow and Viral behind. Rusalka had passed Aria Blaze as she exploited the porpoising issue that Aria had. She was now challenging Sonic Flash. Sayori Blitz in the Renault had overtaken Hatsune Soulblitz’s Volkswagen and was trying Iris off her list.
On lap 41, Akula made a little into turn 10 and that allowed Rainbow to get close by to the Crimson Arrow and on turn 15, Rainbow went for it. She overtook Akula on the exit and was now leading the Grand Prix.
Rusalka went passed Sonic Flash on lap 43 and was now trying to overtake Viral and any given opportunity. With Iris Dayspark passing Aria Blaze on lap 44 at turn 16, Rusalka was on a mision to get a podium for the Prancing Speedfreak.
On lap 47, Blazing Lionfire was under pressure from her own sister and both wanted points, but the question was, who will strike first.
With 2 laps to go, Akula made a last-ditch effort to overtook Rainbow at turn 18 but was unsuccessful. He tried again on turn 7 on the last lap but he would lead for only two corners as Rainbow took turn 10 flat out to award her the lead back.
Rainbow crossed the line to win the Grand Prix and Aston Martin’s first ever win in Formula Equestria with Akula in second and Rusalka third after overtaking Viral on lap 50. Viral came fourth, Sonic Flash fifth, Iris Dayspark sixth, Aria Blaze seventh, Sayori Blitz eigth. Hatsune Soulblitz ninth and Sparky tenth.
