Later, Crash and friends were riding through the tree to Uka Uka's lab.
"We just need to go up a couple more floors." Batlado noted.
"We’re getting closer, right?" Crash asked.
"Smells like it, mate. Remember, I know Uka Uka by scent." Dingodile answered.
"And Sonata?" Pinkie added.
"Something tells me she’s there with him." Batlado replied.
"I hope she's okay." Crash said.
"Do you think Uka Uka did something to Sonata?" Mikey asked in concern.
"I hope not." Pinkie answered in worry.
Meanwhile, in a dark place, Sonata was sitting in her cage as her red aura was glowing brighter than the sun itself.
"Comfortable?" Uka Uka asked, only to be answered with a beastly growl. "Perfect. Now be a good little pet and stay in your cage."
A Voodoo Bunny showed up. "Master, the intruders are heading this way."
"Let them come. They will be in for a big surprise. And they will hate it." Uka Uka responded with an evil grin.
Meanwhile, Crash and the others were riding straight for Uka Uka's lab, until Voodoo Bunnies riding Battlers caught up with them.
"Crash, we got company." Mikey said.
"Make sure they get a one-way trip to Defeat Town." Crash ordered.
"Okie dokie lokie!" Pinkie agreed as she and everyone else broke off and went down different routes. Crash sped to edge and launched himself to his pursuers.
"Swordarang!" Crash called out as he threw his Bokken sword after doing his signature twister attack, sending it flying towards the Voodoo Bunnies, knocking them out before returning to the mutant bandicoot. Crash then landed on Aku Aku and was relieved to see the Battlers leaving as Pinkie kept swaying left and right, making it hard for the Voodoo Bunnies to nail her.
"I'm here! Or am I over here? Or am I here? Or here? Or here? Or here? Or here?" Pinkie joked before reappearing under a Voodoo Bunny. "Or perhaps... Under here. Grrrrooooowwwwwllll..." Pinkie said with a feline growl as she kicked the Voodoo Bunnies off the Battlers and latches on to one. "Easy, now. Just get back down." Pinkie soothed as she jacked the Battler, flew back to the ground. Pinkie jumped off the Battler and continue riding her roller skates as Dingodile was running down along with Mikey on his skateboard.
"Care to have a friendly race, Dingo?" Mikey requested with a smile.
"What did you have in mind?" Dingodile asked.
"Let's see who's faster; Me with my board? Or you with your blaster?" Mikey declared.
"You're on, mate! But I'm going to need me a ride." Dingodile accepted as Armalion showed up.
"Hop on!" Armalion said.
"Thanks!" Dingodile replied in gratitude as the hybrid used his air blast to get onto Armalion who rolled into a ball while Mikey served side to side until he launched himself in the air.
"Shell Basher!" Mikey called out as he tucked into his shell and started to spin with his skateboard below him, slamming into a few Battlers, knocking the Voodoo Bunnies off and grabbing a Battler. But one recovered and prepared to strike Mikey, before Dingodile fired his water pistol and knocking the Voodoo Bunny off.
"Am I three for three?" Dingodile asked.
"We even, Dingo." Mikey answered as he landed back on his board, before the duo looked down and saw an army of Voodoo Bunnies heading for Uka Uka's lab.
"Crikey!" Dingodile gasped.
"We gotta meet up with the others and get to the lab first." Mikey urged.
"Darn tootin’!" Armalion agreed as her, Mikey and Dingodile's path met back up with Batlado, Pinkie and Crash.
"Everyone alright?" Batlado asked.
"We got trouble!" Mikey answered as Dingodile pointed to the horde.
"STAMPEDE!!!" Pinkie yelled.
"SHRED FOR IT!" Crash shouted as he got onto Aku Aku, Mikey onto his skateboard, Pinkie onto her roller skates, and Dingodile onto Armalion. The group rode and progressed forward on the path ahead, before spotting a strange tree structure.
"We’re not far now." Batlado pointed out.
"Everyone, full speed ahead!" Crash ordered.
"Choo-choo!" Grihoga cheered in agreement.
"Alright!" Solava agreed.
"Aw yeah, boi!" Mikey added.
"Wahoo!!" Pinkie cheered.
"Time to crank this oven up a bit more!" Dingodile replied.
"We're coming, Sonata. And we ain't leaving without you." Crash said.
"Gonna bring ya back home." Mikey agreed.
"I’ll throw a huge party after we win." Pinkie added.
"Now it’s my turn ta help save ya from Cortex." Dingodile said, ready to pay back his debt to Sonata.
Everyone got inside as the army charged into the roof of the tall building on the tree.
