'Where am I?' A mare voice inquiry as pair of moderate violet eyes open up and look upon the ancient earth pony settlement at the base of Canterlot’s mountains.
"What happened to my color?!" the mare voice exclaims went She looks at her arms and discovers that her arms are a light mulberry colored with a slight hint of gray and not brilliant tangelo.
"Huh?!" The mare exclaimed went; she felt something squishy on her chest; as she looked down, her hands had hold of her mid-sized breasts.
“What is going on?! I am not that big on my chest!" The mare shrieked upon finding her chest much more prominent than she remembers and once again light mulberry with a slight hint of gray.
“Miss Starscout! I wish you would stop squeezing my bust!" A second mare voice said behind her, annoyed as Sunny turned around.
Standing behind her was beautiful light mulberry colored with a hint of gray older Alicorn mare with dark sapphire blue, medium purple and brilliant rose streak with slight gray mane and tail. Her slender and athletic 6ft 5in equine figure was attired in indigo blue midi length long-sleeve fit and flare dress whose hemline hit slightly past her knees.
On her magnificent slender light mulberry colored bare feet with gentle yellow-colored toenail polish were gold stiletto heel pumps. Behind her horn was a gold crown, and folded on her back were her light mulberry-colored large-sized feather birds’ wings. This soft mulberry colored with a hint of gray older Alicorn mare was Queen Twilight Sparkle, the last ruler of Equestria.
"What do you mean, your bust?" Sunny inquiry was puzzled as Twilight slapped Sunny's hands off her chest.
"I told you to stop squeezing my bust! It not right to squeeze my breasts!" The older Twilight said sharply as she slaps away Sunny’s hands from her breasts again.
"So this where she went to Ponyville. It had been so long since I returned to this town (tears run down her cheeks)." Older Twilight said as she once again slaps away Sunny's hand from squeezing her breasts again.
"If you want me to stop squeezing my breasts, and then tell me who you are, or I squeeze these squishy nipples again," Sunny said, warning as she brought her hand up to squeeze the breasts again.
"(Twilight's eyes become saucers watching Sunny's hand get closer and closer to her breasts); this generation has no manners! Fine, I am Queen Twilight Sparkle, the last ruler of Equestria. The reason I say to stop touching my breasts is that you are in my body, Miss Starscout." Twilight said, miffed as she created a full-standing mirror in front of Sunny before she could ask the question.
Sunny’s moderate aquamarine eyes blinked with incredulity went she looked into the mirror, and looking back at her was Queen Twilight Sparkle wearing the exact same dress and shoes. Like the other Queen Twilight Sparkle with her arms crossed in front of her.
“What is going on, you’re Majesty? How can there be two Queen Sparkle in the same place?” Sunny exclaims as she is thoroughly puzzled by the situation.
"Well, Miss Starscout, you are in the dream dimension-This the realm of dreams and nightmares for all ponies of Equestria. This is a special place that I don't have access to, even those I am an Alicorn. Only two ponies can easily come and go from this realm- Princess Luna Borealis and Prince Somnus Silverlight. I believe you met Princess Blueberry Swirl Silverlight in Bridlewood forest at the crystal tea room." Twilight explains as Sunny thinks for a while.
“I met a Miss Blueberry Swirl Silverlight in Bridlewood forest at the Crystal tea room.” Sunny answers as she taps her finger against the lower half of Twilight's snout, a bit puzzled.
"Well, Miss Blueberry Swirl Silverlight is Princess Blueberry Swirl Silverlight, the younger daughter of my mentor Princess Celestia Silverlight the Princess of the sun and the ruler of ancient Equestria. A living sun goddess." Twilight explains that as the breath catches in Sunny's throat, she says a living sun goddess.
"What about her father?" Sunny asked as Twilights' moderate violet eyes are haunted by some deep inner pain when asked about Blueberry's father.
'Imperial Prince Justice Silverlight, even after all these centuries and what I did, he remained watching over the Princesses of Equestria. Granted, his wife is one of those Princesses of Equestria but still went Equestria fell, he could return to his people. But he stayed to watch the fall of Equestria and protect the Princesses of Equestria.' Twilight thought as she dissolved into tears.
(Several months before Queen Twilight Sparkle three crystals shattered)
"I know your imperial highness, but my student Luster Dawn Star shine refused to take the mantel of rulership of Equestria, and I am not going to change my mind from dying.” Queen Twilight said unyielding as Justice’s unfurled his biomechanical metal feather bird wings from his back.
“You know I respect your decisions, your Majesty. But right now, that is the most selfish decision you have made, Queen Twilight Sparkle! I have already told you the Imperial Alicorns will not interfere with this planet's time progression. The only reason the other Princesses elected to enter the regeneration sarcophagus is to see the future of Equestria." Justice said hotly as he folded his biomechanical metal feathered bird wings onto his back.
“You might have lost every pony that special to you,…your Majesty! But that means nothing to the Imperial Alicorns or me! You don't know what pain is, and if anyone should be depressed! It should be me! Have you heard the screams of half a million living beings at once dying! I have watched whole planets die! Whole star systems vanish instantly! So those ponies that died is only a drop in the cosmic time of this universe!” Justice said indignantly as the blood drained from Twilight's face.
"But through all that, I follow the will of my great grandmother, the Empress! And the prime directive she set for my people, the Imperial Alicorns, will not interfere with any planet's time progression, be it good or bad. But don’t think that my people forget what was lost; we collect artifacts and the whole history of that planet. Those items are stored for eternity in great library citadel station under watchful eyes of the timekeeper.” Justice explains as a spasm of irritation crosses twilight face.
"Then why do your return to your people, your imperial highness! If this planet means nothing to you or your people and stops trying to change my mind, those ponies are the only thing I care about! All my other subjects can go to Tartarus for all I care! They have no idea how I feel!” Queen Twilight said self-righteously as tears streak her cheeks.
"I could have returned to my people at any time. But I didn't…like my wife. I love all these ponies for short-living species; they have survived many trials. So unlike you, I will not forget their struggles. Went their time come, their artifacts and histories will be jealously guarded for eternity." Justice said irately, opening his metal wings the entire length.
“Before I return to my duty of protecting the sleeping Princesses of Equestria! Remember this, Your Majesty, that duty means all the Princesses of Equestria! Even if one Princess doesn't deserve it!" Justice said venomously, flying back to the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters.
(Back to present time in the dream dimension)
'Even after Justice told me he has watched half of million souls die at once. I refused to change my mind about my own death. My friends were more important than the rest of my subjects of Equestria.' Queen Twilight thought as her face was dark with pain as Sunny felt the change in her mood.
"Excuse me, Your Majesty, but why am I here?" Sunny asked as it snapped Queen Twilight out of her train of thought.
"Oh, sorry, Miss Starscout…." Queen Twilight said as Sunny stopped Twilight from completing what she was saying.
“Before you finish, you’re Majesty. How do you know my name?” Sunny asked as Twilight's face flushed with happiness.
"Does the name Argyle Star shine mean anything to you, Miss Starscout?" Twilight asked, knowing with a subtle smile on her snout as Sunny reeled with astonishment.
"That my father's name…." Sunny answered, still a bit puzzled.
"Apparently, sometime during your family history, you had a unicorn as part of your family tree. That unicorn was related to my student Luster Dawn Star shine. The unicorn that refused the mantle of Leadership of Equestria caused my three crystals to shatter." Twilight explains as the veins in Sunny's neck stand out in livid ridges.
“So all this suffering was caused by you! You allowed every pony to hate each other! My family was treated like outcasts because we believed that all ponies breed could be friends! And it was not during some time in my family history! My mother was a unicorn! She was taken away went I was younger because of the fear of unicorns!" Sunny speak with bitter resentment as the look of mute appeal form on Twilight's face.
“Miss Starscout…!" Twilight calls as a feeling of a trapdoor opens up in the floor of Sunny’s stomach with disgust of the pony she admired as protector of friendship.
“So Justice was right, I hurt everything that I protected as Guardian of Harmony. Just because I didn't want to be left all alone." Twilight said, her voice a lifeless monotone as she sunk to her knees, heartbroken.
“So my little Somnus, It looks like we don’t have as much work to do as we thought.” A mare voice comment as Princess Luna Borealis appears attired in purple rose-coloured below knee length long-sleeve fit and flare dress and her feet bare.
"Indeed, Auntie, so it looks like we can spend more time together in the real world as planned." As Prince Somnus Silverlight appears attired in a purple rose-coloured robe with boots on his dark blue bare feet, a stallion voice replies.
"Now, Somnus, you might have just jinxed us by saying as planned. You know from experience our plans rarely are to plan. But still, we make do." Luna comments as she kisses her nephew on his cheek.
"Your highnesses!" Twilight exclaimed as the two ponies of the night walked up to her.
“Greeting young Twilight? Or should I say old Twilight?" Luna said, a bit puzzled looking at the adult Twilight.
"Greeting, your Majesty," Somnus said politely.
"So you are awake as well, your highness," Twilight commented as she looked over Princess Luna.
“You should know Twilight; I am bound heart and soul to my dear little Somnus here. If he ever needs me, I will come to his aid." Luna explains as Somnus fills in Twilight with what is going on in the real world.
"So the whole royal family is wake and reunited with each other in this new timeline," Twilight repeated as she noticed Somnus looking toward the recreation of Ponyville in the dream dimension.
"Before me dying, your father Justice visited me in Canterlot at the Grand Royal Palace. He was trying one last time to convince me to not go with my plan to take my own life. But I ignored him and went ahead with my plan to die. I consume a concoction that would stop my heart, but what I didn't understand about being an Alicorn is any attempt to kill myself would result in my soul being separated from my real body and sent my body into hibernation." Queen Twilight explains as the two ponies of the night look at each other and chuckles as Twilight's teeth gritted.
"Alicorn and hybrid Alicorn know that rule," Luna said as Somnus looked at her with a slow, appraising glance.
"Auntie…" Somnus said in a scolding manner as he attempted to step on the five elegant toes of her foot that were painted with deep pink toenail polish, and she pulled them away.
"(kissing him on his cheek) Just be happy, my little Somnus. I love you so much that you trying to step on my bare toes would not change anything. But the truth, Twilight, Celestia, and I didn't know that rule till we met Imperial Prince Justice Silverlight, and he told us that." Luna said as Twilight sighed softly.
"But anyway, in my soul being separated from my real body, my younger self Princess Twilight Sparkle split off from me and ran off. Every since I have been trying to track her down and reform with her." Twilight explains as both Luna and Twilight notice the sheepish grin on Somnus's snout.
"Remember my dear little Somnus…We don't keep secrets from each other? The first lesson in night magic I taught you is that any darkness you hide opens you up to the darkness taking control of you. Any outcome I couldn't stomach to happen to you. So please tell me?" Luna said in a tender, but firm voice as Somnus kissed her on her cheek.
"Yes, Auntie…father told my siblings and me that he retrieved the real body of Queen Twilight Sparkle from the Canterlot catacombs before Canterlot fell went magic was lost. He put the body into a sixth crystal Sarcophagus in the same room as Princess Cadence's sarcophagus. Plus, with the permission of the Element holder family and Element holder themselves. He sent the bodies to his people’s medical facility in space for regeneration." Somnus explains as Twilight's face glazed with shock before sinking to her knees in tears.
“So even after all this, Justice. Still saved me even those I didn’t deserve it.” Twilight said, her voice cracking as dull, empty ache gnawing at Twilight's soul.
"My question to you, Twilight? What are you; going to do with this gift that Justice gave you? Will you continue on this course? Or Live on to see what your decision did?" Luna asked
