Blazey was looking on the timing sheets during practice and found out that her sister was a little bit faster compared. Blazey didn’t really blame her cause she wanted her to do exactly what she wanted. The thing that Blazey didn’t realise is that for the next season, Sparky hinted to her sister that she would be replacing Pinkie Pie at McLaren in 2023, while the party fantatic went off to Hesketh-Lionfire. But regardless, Blazey fired up her Chappral-Lionfire 2Z-22 and hoped to post a lap better than her sister.

With the first sprint race nearly ready to get underway. The race was on and Akula takes an early lead into turn 1 with Danger close by. 19 laps await the 28 racers and at first banked turn (turn 2), Viral was making a move on Oscura which was a little ambitious and at the entrance to turn 3, Viral tail-slided and was overtaken by Aria and Iris. Sparky didn’t overtake Viral as she was about 5 car-lengths behind. But she realised she had a lot of catching to do.
While the top 10 headed to turn 14, the Volkswagen of Hatsune Soulblitz, who got a amazing start, was now challenging the Mercedes of Sunset Shimmer who at turn 10 got a nudge from the 15th place Porsche 808 of Flash Sentry at the bus-stop. Hatsune made a move and passed the Mercedes before turn 11.
On lap 3, the battle for second when into ‘inferno levels’ as Danger and Oscura in a dog fight for second as Akula vanished into the distance. Going into the final turn, Oscura brushed past Danger which the British Speedfreak didn’t take a liking to. At the first corner on lap 4, Danger performed an ‘over and under’ on Oscura and sped away into turn 2 and Oscura spun on the exit. Luckily for Oscura, the track was wide and Oscura got going again but fell to 5th behind Viral.
Iris inherited 3rd after Oscura’s spin and was doing brilliantly and was only 1.2 seconds adrift from Danger. Even though she hadn’t driven around the track prior to pratice, but she learnt from Danger about adaptablity and it does pay dividends for her in the long run.
For some reason, Aria was liking the F1-75 so much that on lap 8 she was now challenging the Mercedes of Iris Dayspark and on turn 17, Iris was forced high on the 15 degree banking which in turn, made Aria pass the Silver Arrow.
On lap 10, Akula was now 9 seconds ahead of the Ferrari of Danger in second and with his teammate Viral now in 4th after Iris did the same mistake on lap which cost her the podium spot. Iris was also being hunted down by the Red Bull of Oscura Galaxia.
More laps pass and Viral was now right behind Aria Blaze and battle was looking spectacular for the fans to watch. On lap 15, Viral made a move on Aria on turn 14 which wasn’t successful, but turn 15 was her best chance. Both went low on the turn and on the exit, Viral passed her on the inside of turn 16.
Oscura meanwhile, had overtaken Iris on lap 17 and was hoping to catch Danger in two laps. But that wasn’t going to happen. As Akula crossed the line to win the first sprint race, Danger finished second with Viral third. Oscura was a last-minute move on Aria Blaze which… surprisingly worked. Oscura grabbed fourth, Aria was fifth. Iris came sixth, the Lionfire sisters in 7th and 8th with Blazey acting as a rear-gunner. Rusalka finished 9th and Sonic finished 10th.
