Before sending word to my oldest daughter Princess Aurora Silverlight, she is the designated Princess of the Sun with her mother incapacitated and the only one that can decide the next course of action for Princess Flurry Heart Sparkle.
As my light opal green eyes open up, I found myself lying on a bed in one of the bedrooms of the Castle of Friendship, looking up at the dusty canopy over my head. As I slowly sat up, I instinctively cringed from my wounds but soon discovered that all my injuries were bandaged. I had a momentary panic attack, not knowing who brought me to this room and patched me up and what plans they had for me.
But soon, the panic attack subsided, and I stood up from the bed; my bare feet pip-popped over cold tile floors of the bedroom, leaving my footprints in the thin layer of dust as I walked over to the door. I heard talking outside the room; it sounded like one stallion and two mares; they were having a long discussion about what I could make out it was about me and what to do with me.
My heart began to beat rapidly as nauseating spurts of adrenaline course through my veins which only aggravated my injuries further and intensified my fear of being hurt and at my mystic energy limits. My heart pumped spastically inside my chest as the doorknob started to turn on the door and the door slowly began to open into the room. My face became a mask of terror as I couldn't gather enough magical energy to cast the most basic of Alicorn magic.
"Miss Flurry Heart Sparkle! What are you doing out of bed!? By my mother's light, I have to change your dressings!" Blueberry said testily as my blood-soaked through my bandages from my wounds.
"Cousins! Uncle! I am sorry the Crystal Empire fell! I couldn't hold back the snowstorm; my magic was exhausted!" Flurry's heart said her voice was as cold as death, and tears streaked her light magenta cheeks.
"(Wiping the tears off Flurry heart's cheeks with his fingers) Stop crying, Flurry Heart, you did all you could to hold back the storm. What important is that you are alive, and I don't have to tell your mother went she come out of hibernation you are dead." Justice said, encouraging as Flurry Heart wiped her tears off her face with her hand.
(Back to present time)
'After that, I told my uncle and cousins I would remain here at the Castle of Friendship, protecting my aunt Twilight Sparkle castle and school from looters.' ‘Flurry Heart thought as she spread her feather bird wings and flew back to Castle of Friendship to meet those new pony guests with her cousin Princess Blueberry swirl Silverlight.
‘See you at the castle of Friendship Flurry Heart’ Blueberry thought, watching the light magenta-colored Alicorn mare flying overhead heading back to the castle of friendship and the school of friendship.
"Hey, Miss Silverlight, why are you looking in the air?" Hitch asked as he looked in the air, barely missing the light magenta-coloured Alicorn mare flying back to the castle.
"Oh, no reason, Mr. Trailblazer. It's just a beautiful day; being in a dark hole digging around in ruins makes you appreciate each and every beautiful day to come." Blueberry said, profound as she hacks through the underbrush.
"That right, Miss Silverlight, but anyway, I never asked. What is your mother like? Is she like your father?" Hitch asked as Zip caught up to the unicorn and earth pony; went they stopped for a minute.
"My mother is a wonderful mare, as like my father to a point. Both know a great deal about ancient Equestria. The perfect pair of ponies." Blueberry answered as the group continued hacks through the underbrush to the castle of friendship.
(Back at the seeing pool room at the castle of royal pony sisters)
In the seeing pool room, Princess Celestia Silverlight continues to scope out the circumstances of the new Equestria, unaware of the stallion coming up behind her. Before she could react, the sound of the zipper being open on her strange bodysuit can be heard, and the sound of the latex suit being removed from her nude Alicorn figure is felt. Celestia Silverlight surrenders her perfect figure to the stallion that now has her.
"Nooo…pleases? Not their!" Celestia said in a sultry but excepting voice as the stallion kissed his way down Celestia's slender and elegant equine neck all the way down to her exposed white with a hint of pink perfect full breasts.
"Please, my dearest? Stop it? Will you dress me?" Celestia said, compassionate as she was enjoying her husband's warm lips upon her smooth Alicorn pelt that she had not felt for so long.
The stallion continued kissing his Alicorn wife across her exposed white with a hint of pink smooth Alicorn pelt as his hand started to glow. Went he finished kissing her silky Alicorn pelt, he touched her skin, creating antique white undergarments and followed that up by creating a coral gold-coloured short-sleeve floral lace midi length fit and flare dress. Celestia couldn't help but laugh went Justice intentionally left her barefooted.
"(Place her finger on the end of his snout and gently push it back) Now behave yourself, Justice, you know what kind of shoes I like wearing," Celestia said, knowing and playful as a pair of gold multi colored wedge sandals appeared on her large Alicorn size feet.
“(Justice helps her to her feet) Thank you," Celestia said politely as she quickly wrapped her arms and wings around him.
"I have missed you, my dear husband. The longer I hibernated, the more those dreams haunted me. Each year my heart would break, unable to just hold you in my arms for a little while and feel those warm lips on mine." Celestia said, devoted as Justice took hold of Celestia's hand, and the two Alicorns flew back to the campsite with her in tow.
It took only a few moments for the two Alicorns to arrive at the campsite; Justice could feel Celestia's skin on the palm of her hand growing clammy as they walked toward the mess tent where two of their foals were waiting. Upon Justice entering the tent, the scene was calm from his foals, but the moment the Alicorn mare stepped into the mess tent.
“Mother!” Aurora and Somnus exclaimed simultaneously as tears streaked the cheeks of Celestia and her two older foals.
"Your mother! And she an Alicorn!" Izzy and Pipp exclaimed, dumbfounded to see this Alcorn mare hugging her foals.
"Miss Moonbow and Miss Petals, I really don't know how much of Ancient Equestria history was told to you in school. At least did your books mention the Princess of the Sun or the sun goddess of Equestria?” Luna inquiry as Izzy and Pipp thought back to their school days.
"The Princess of the sun was the overall ruler of Ancient Equestria; she had a sister named Luna, the ruler of dreams and the night, the Princess of the moon." Pipp recited, remembering what Sunny told her as Izzy gape in stunned silence, putting two and two together as she taps Pipp on her shoulder over and over.
"What is it, Izzy?!" Pipp was aggravated by Izzy tapping her on the shoulder over and over.
"(Pointing at Luna with shock in her eyes) she is the Princess of the moon, ruler of dreams and the night! Luna Borealis! That Alicorn is Luna!" Izzy exclaims as the breath catches in pipp's throat before looking toward the other Alicorn.
"(Fumbles with her cell phone try her best to live stream but fails as she drops her phone) then that other Alicorn is the Princess of the Sun…Princess Celestia Silverlight! The most Ancient ruler of Equestria and a living goddess." Pipp exclaims, awestruck, as Luna uses her telekinesis to push away Pipp’s phone from her reach to keep her from live streaming the return of two ancient rulers of Equestria.
As Blueberry, Hitch, and Zip hack through the last of the underbrush, the group emerges onto the Castle of Friendship Hitch and Zip's eyes become saucers upon laying their eyes on the ruins of the Castle of Friendship.
Soon stress lines form on Hitch’s brow as a large area around the castle of friendship has been cleared of foliage very recently, leaving an area of soft soil around the whole outside of the castle. A puzzled look appears on Hitch's face when he kneeled down and discovers a fresh ten and one-third inch long bare footprint in the soil. As he continues scanning the area, he sees several more identical naked prints spread across the cleared area of the castle.
“What is up, Hitch?” Zip asked as she noticed that Hitch was intently studying something in the dirt in front of him.
“Blueberry says that Castle of Friendship was abandoned, correct?” Hitch asked Zip as he traced the outside edge of the bare footprint in the soil with his finger.
“Yeah, she says it been abandoned since three crystals shattered; why?" Zip asked nervously as Hitch rubbed the lower half of his snout with his other hand.
"Because I just discovered a fresh bare footprint in the dirt. To me, it looks like a young adult mare barefoot. In excellent shape and maybe five foot four inches in height. Not your average young adult mare height. Plus, this bare footprint is too smooth for your average everyday citizen of Equestria." Hitch explains as he follows the tracks with his eyes up to the castle entrance that is cracked open a bit.
"Hey! Hitch and Zip, what going on?" Blueberry asked as she joined the earth pony and Pegasus at the edge of forests.
"That it!" Hitch exclaims as Blueberry's booted foot comes into Hitch's sight.
“These bare footprints are just like yours, Miss Silverlight! Very smooth from outstanding care of them. So the mare that made these bare footprints might be of royal birth." Hitch explains as he remembered how smooth Blueberry feet were, went she removed her boots and socks at the fountain to rub her sore feet.
"Flurry Heart! Come out; they know you are in the castle!" Blueberry calls
“Yes, Cousin!” A mare voice replies
From the upmost balcony of the castle alight magenta young adult Alicorn mare appears, soon her medium-sized light magenta-colored feathery bird wings unfolded off her back, and she shoots into the air. Before gliding down to the three ponies waiting on the ground. As she lands, her light magenta-colored bare feet with chipped and faded jewel-tone deep azure blue toenail polish fit like a glove in the bare footprints in the dirt. Blueberry walks up to the Alicorn mare and hugs her, at which time she returns the hug.
“Greeting friends…I am Princess Flurry Heart Sparkle…The last ruler of the Crystal Empire in the north. Who might you be?" Flurry Heart asked very politely and regal as she did a formal royal curtsy toward Hitch and Zip, who are dumbfounded with finding another royal Alicorn.
"Wait a minute, you are another royal Alicorn! Are you related to a Princess Cadence Sparkle?" Hitch asked, very surprised as Flurry Heart chuckles into the back of her hand.
“Princess Cadence Sparkle is my mother.” Flurry Heart answered as she glanced over to her cousin Blueberry, telling her that this earth pony stallion is a bit slow on the uptake as Zip softly chuckles into the back of her hand with her light opal green eyes.
"Your mother!" Hitch exclaims, finally getting it as Flurry Heart palms her face wondering if this new generation of stallion has lost something up there.
"But anyway, cousin Blueberry, your father contacted me earlier. The Princess is awake and is at the campsite." Flurry Heart relays as Blueberry's face flushed with happiness with the great news.
“My mother is awake!” Blueberry exclaims as Flurry Heart raises her hand to stop Blueberry.
"Cousin Blueberry, let hold off on the celebration. We don't want to blow this stallion's mind with your mother. It looks like this stallion will take a little longer to process what we are going to tell him." Flurry Heart said, razzing as Blueberry and Zip agreed with Flurry Heart.
"But anyway, your father told me what you are looking for here at the castle of friendship. The truth of the matter, cousin Blueberry is that the crystal that the castle tree is made out of will not work as a Heart crystal." Flurry Heart said, knowing as all three ponies’ features fall with the news.
"But cousin Blueberry (reach into one of her pockets and bring out a pink crystal heart) I created a Heart Crystal before I was forced to leave the Crystal Empire. This should help Luna get my aunt's spirit out of the earth pony mare. I will return with you and these other ponies to the campsite. To reunite with my mother, and you can reunite with your mother." Flurry Heart explains as Blueberry shakes her head.
To save time, Blueberry ordered Flurry heart and Zip to fly back to the campsite with the Heart crystal and give it to Luna to begin the process of extracting the spirit of Queen Twilight Sparkle from Sunny Starscout before it too late. It will take a few hours for her and Hitch to make it back to the campsite on foot. At the camp, Flurry heart reunites with her mother and informs her mother that she has no idea if any of their Crystal Ponies survived the fall of the Crystal Empire.
"Went I woke up from my hibernation Flurry Heart, I couldn't hear the beating of the Crystal Heart. I fear my lovely foal that none of our Crystal Ponies survived went magic was lost in Equestria." Cadence said, her voice a lifeless monotone as her face was a study of desolation.
"Without land to rule? What are we to do, mother?" Flurry Heart asked with a hitch in her voice.
"We are not the only ones that lost land to rule. My aunts and our cousins lost their land to rule. But they have a plan; this is not our Equestria anymore, my lovely foal. This Equestria belongs to the new Generation of Ponies. It's time for us to fade into history and watch this generation forge ahead into an unforeseen future." Cadence said, revering reaching on top of her head and removing her crown.
“These six ponies are our new family, my dear foal," Cadence said, accepting as Luna watched her niece and Flurry heart remove their crowns on top of their heads.
'Welcome home, Cadence and Flurry Heart; a new adventure awaits us.' Luna thought as she continued preparing with Somnus to extract Queen Twilight Sparkle's spirit from Sunny Starscout.
