With the night rolling in, Shining Armor and Cadence have called it a night, and are already asleep on their beds. Sombra is at his home, extremely exhausted from babysitting Flurry Heart, and also from partially fixing his bathroom. So with that, he’s passed out on the couch. Speaking of Flurry Heart… , she’s currently asleep in her room; snuggling up to her whammy plushie and thinking of all the good times she had with Sombra. At least until… .
*boom*
Flurry Heart then awoke with a jolt and starts crying loudly because she had a nightmare about the thunderstorm that she was experiencing back at Sombra’s house… . So with that, the parents then got up, and went to their daughter’s room to calm her down. Unfortunately, due to them being half asleep, they looked like zombies when they entered the room: prompting Flurry Heart to cry even louder. So with that, the parents awoke completely, looked around, and approached their daughter’s bed to calm her down.
“You’re alright Flurry Heart, calm down… ,” Shining Armor said, trying to sound soothing for her. Flurry Heart lowered her volume, but is still crying and sniffling. Hey, at least her tantrums are getting better… . At least until… .
*rip*
“Ow! That’s my hair!” Cadence said in shock and pain. Flurry Heart whimpered and hid her face against her father’s chest due to being scared by her mom. With that, Shining said; “how about we let her sleep with us… ? That way we’ll keep track of her if she were to get cranky again. Am I right?” Cadence picked up her daughter, and nodded. She then looked at Flurry Heart, and asked in a motherly tone; “would you like to sleep with us tonight? We’ll protect you from whatever nasty dream you’ve had. Will that make you happy?” Flurry Heart sniffled, nodded; “uh huh… .” and then made grabby hands while reaching up to her mom so she’ll be carried to their room. With that, Cadence picked up her daughter, and then walked to her room with Shining Armor.
And so, the parents are having a good night sleep. And Flurry Heart is feeling happy again.
