"Please to meet you, Sunny and Izzy. You know my name Blueberry Swirl Silverlight." Blueberry said friendly as Izzy noticed the shadow leaving the Crystal tea room.
"As I asked earlier, have we met before?" Blueberry inquiry as she took a sip of her tea.
"Because you knew my name before I told you?” Blueberry asked nervously as her cobalt blue eyes were haunted by some inner anxiety.
"Not at all, Miss Silverlight," Sunny said truthfully as she took a sip of her tea.
"Then how did you know?" Blueberry is even more nervous as beads of perspiration form on her forehead.
"This might sound strange, Miss Silverlight, but your name just popped up in my mind went I saw you. Till right now, I have never met you nor have my friend Izzy (Izzy shaking her head)." Sunny explains as Blueberry hand balled into a fist on the table before relaxing it.
"That doesn't sound all that strange, Miss Starscout; we are living in Equestria," Blueberry said jokingly as her beautiful laugh was soothing.
"Wait!" Sunny exclaims as it causes the two unicorns to gasp simultaneously.
"Wait for what, Sunny?" Izzy asked, taking a drink from her cup.
"Miss Silverlight, you say that you are an Archaeologist," Sunny said as Blueberry shook her head.
“Then maybe you can confirm the legend of the Bridlewood forest ancient castle ruins?" Sunny asked hopefully as Blueberry drank her tea very slowly in a pondering manner.
"That is no legend, Miss Starscout and Miss Moonbow. It is called the castle of the Royal pony sisters. It was the former home of the Princess that sent Twilight Sparkle out to learn about friendship." Blueberry says, knowing in a hushed tone of voice as the two mares blink with surprise with the legend being true.
"It's true!!" Sunny exclaims excitedly as Izzy cringes and notices all the establishment patrons with their ears perked up.
“If you would excuse me, mares. I just remember a quick call I have to make; I’ll be just a minute." Blueberry said, standing up from the table walking back over to her table as she noticed the same thing Izzy noticed.
Leaning against a tree in Bridlewood forest watching the Crystal tea room was a gorgeous slightly darker light blue half Alicorn/unicorn stallion with crimson red mane and tail. His muscular 6ft 2in equine figure was attired in a nickel gray-colored comfort stretch fitted dress shirt and classic black-fit flat-front pants. On his eleven and one-sixth inch, black socked light blue bare feet were black dress boots. This half Alicorn/Unicorn stallion was Prince Somnus Silverlight, the only son of Princess Celestia and Blueberry's older brother.
Much like his little sister Blueberry, Somnus has not gone unnoticed by a large number of unicorn mares in Bridlewood forest walking about with other unicorn stallions. The mares would giggle and blush if he looked toward them with his beautiful smile. A couple of beefy unicorn stallions have approached Somnus went their mare would blush and giggle to challenge him. But upon looking into his cobalt blue eyes, the challenger's courage would quickly drain away.
‘These unicorn stallions of Bridlewood forest I wish they would just leave me alone. I have no intention of stealing their mares from them. I am just doing my job like my sister orders me to do.’ Somnus thought as the phone in his pocket rang, and he answered it.
"Hello, oh Blueberry, what is up?" Somnus asked.
"I see wannabe treasure hunters have taken an interest in the castle ruins. Let me get authorization from her highness to take action." Somnus explains as he calls his sister.
In a large octagon-shaped room on the second basement floor of the castle ruins walking up to two finely decorated large stone altars with rectangular frosted crystal sarcophagus on it were a gorgeous light blue half Alicorn/unicorn mare with crimson red mane and tail. Her 6ft 6in perfect equine figure was attired in Jade green finely made slightly below the knee length dress with turquoise colored lace trim. On her perfectly shaped light blue twelve-inch long bare feet with yellow toenail polish were gold wedge sandals with two and one fourth inch heels. On her head behind her horn was a gold tiara, and folded on her back were her medium-sized light blue feathered bird wings. This half Alicorn/unicorn mare was Princess Aurora Silverlight, the elder daughter of Princess Celestia and older sister of Somnus and Blueberry.
“Mother, we located the pony that reformed Princess Twilight Sparkle three crystals. I hope this will wake you and auntie up. It has been almost five thousand years since you and auntie went into hibernation. You promise to be back in three hundred years, so we can live like a normal pony family, even those we are immortal." Aurora voice a lifeless monotone as a tear runs down her cheek, splashing on the crystal top; at the same time, a tear runs down the cheek of the mare inside the frosted crystal sarcophagus.
(Three hundred years prior)
Dressed more like a farmer than a Princess was Princess Aurora Silverlight; she was attending to a sizable vegetable and fruit garden in the many outside areas of the castle of the Royal pony sisters, and not too far away was a small apple orchard. She was taught secretly about gardening and cooking by Miss Applejack Apple, the element holder of Honesty.
Meanwhile, in the sizeable octagon-shaped room on the second basement floor of the castle ruins, Prince Somnus Silverlight, dressed like a repair stallion, checks the multitude of gears and belts in the castle walls.
"Greeting, mother and Auntie, I am here to check on you two," Somnus said casually as he kneeled down in front of two finely decorated large stone altars with sun and moon symbols carved on them.
He slides open a small door revealing a control panel on the face was eleven emerald cut crystals serving as buttons in relief, and next to the buttons was a pink crystal cut in heart shape. The heart-shaped crystal beats calmly and steadily; without warning, the heart-shaped crystal begins beating at a rapid pace putting stress on two Alicorns in the crystal sarcophagus.
"Aurora, get down here right now!” Somnus yells as the quick but soft pitter-patter of mare bare feet echoes on the castle's stone floor as Aurora arrives.
"Aurora quickly opens the main control panel on the sarcophagus! Their too much stress on mother and auntie's hearts! We must stabilize it!" Somnus yells as Aurora quickly opens the main control panel on her mother's sarcophagus.
Over the next few hours, the two siblings rapidly adjust the main control panel calling back and forth the new reading on the board. Until slowly, their mother and aunt's heartbeat return to a calm and steady manner.
"Somnus, what happen?" Aurora asked as the two siblings sat on the floor beside their mother and Auntie sarcophagus.
"I don't know, Aurora? I finished checking Auntie's life support systems and was about to check our mother's life support. Auntie reading was great, and then her heartbeat went into overdrive." Somnus explains as the two siblings slowly stand back up.
“Well, the readings are back to normal, but at a much slower rate. It looks like mother and auntie have gone into a deeper sleep now.” Aurora explains as tears run down her light blue cheeks.
(Back to the present)
"After that happened, mother, we learned why you're an auntie heartbeat went into overdrive. Because Princess Twilight Sparkle's three crystals shattered." Aurora explains, kissing two of her fingers placing them on the cover of the sarcophagus holding her mother.
"Went Blueberry told us that we went into preservation mode. As ordered by you and auntie before sleeping, we couldn't interfere with the time progression of Equestria no matter what. So I sent Somnus to Canterlot to retrieve the combined crown of sun and moon to bring it here. We would separate it into the sun and moon crown later. I sent Blueberry to Crystal Empire to retrieve Princess Cadence sarcophagus and bring it here. Flurry heart told Blueberry she will use her magic to hold back the storm till her mother sarcophagus is safely away from Crystal Empire." Aurora explains, checking the control panel of the sarcophagus as the cell phone in her pocket rings, and she answers it.
"I see wannabe treasure hunters are interested; all right, brother, go ahead scare them away from looking for the castle," Aurora instructs as she puts her cell phone back in her pocket.
....
In a second room a third rectangular frosted crystal sarcophagus was nestled between two giant crystals formations in that room. She runs her finger over the crystal heart on the control panel it causes it to blink several times.
“You are excited about something Aurora?” A familiar mare voice inquiry from the sarcophagus as the sarcophagus glows.
“I can also feel great joy about it, Aurora." The same familiar mare voice says, very happy.
“I am cousin; we found the pony that reformed Twilight Sparkle three Crystals," Aurora answers as the crystal heart blinks.
"That is wonderful news! Huh? Their something wrong, Aurora? Please tell your cousin Cadence what is wrong? You know I am here to help that why my daughter found a way to speak to me why I hibernate.” Cadence said reassuring as a warm glow filled this small room.
“We have been unable to get up north to check if your daughter is still alive after the collapse of Equestria went the three crystals shattered," Aurora explains as a tear runs down her cheek.
"Please, Aurora, don't cry if I didn't trust your father like I did. I would be upset with this. But I know you three have been trying to find a way up north since the fall of Equestria. Now, if your father is right went your mother and aunt awaken. I should awake too." Cadence said encouraging as warm energy ran up Aurora's hand, then her arm filling her heart with love.
(Back to crystal tea room)
"Hey, Izzy? Is there something wrong?" Sunny inquiry went she noticed the apprehensiveness on Izzy’s face.
“The Castle of the Royal pony sisters is in danger now," Izzy said, worried.
"Huh? In danger?" Sunny said, a bit puzzled
“Why?” Sunny asked
“Not every pony is interested in the history of Equestria like you, Sunny. Some are interested in how many bits they can get for the ruins. Because you just confirm the castle is real." Izzy said her voice quavering as her face is etched with sorrow.
“Miss Silverlight!” Sunny calls
"Yes, Miss Starscout?" Blueberry ask
“I just put the castle in danger!” Sunny said as Blueberry rejoins Izzy and Sunny at their table.
"I don't think we have to worry about the castle is in danger, Miss Starscout. I don't think the unicorn guardian would let anyone get close to the castle to loot it." Blueberry said
"Somnus," Izzy said in a trans-Atlantic dialect of a light-gray unicorn as Blueberry blinked with surprise.
"Huh? Izzy, who is Somnus?" Sunny asked as Izzy shook her head.
"Who, Sunny?" Izzy is a bit confused.
"You say Somnus," Sunny said, wondering.
“I have no idea who this Somnus is?” Izzy answered, still very confused with what she said.
"But anyway, Sunny, I am not feeling all that well. Could you take me home? So I can lie down." Izzy said, exhausted as sunny shook her head.
"Miss Silverlight, if you are not in a hurry, can you wait for me? I would like to talk more about the castle." Sunny said in a hush as she helped Izzy to her feet and walked her back to her home.
(An hour later)
“What is your interest in the Castle, Sunny?" Blueberry inquiry as she took a sip of fresh tea from her cup.
"My father, as I said before, was a researcher. Before his death, he was looking into the real history of Equestria and not the fabricated one that we were told in school.” Sunny explains as she takes a drink from her cup.
“Tee-hee.” Blueberry giggle
"May I ask what are you smiling about, Miss Silverlight?" Sunny inquiries
"I don't know how your friend Izzy would know the personality of Princess Twilight Sparkle. But my research into Princess Twilight Sparkle tells me you have her personality. In fact, you want to learn about anything." Blueberry comments as Sunny stomach flutters with the thought.
“Me with the personality of a great leader of Equestria? Never!” Sunny said humbly
'Me? A great leader of Equestria? If you only knew how many times I failed as the leader of Equestria, my dear earth pony. I let my three crystals shatter and allow the three tribes to hate each other.’ Twilight sparkle spirit thought as it caused Sunny to suddenly become saddened.
"Please, Miss Silverlight, don't compare me to Princess Twilight Sparkle. At one moment, I gave up; the crystals didn't work during all this. I hated went I failed my new friends, and my beliefs were broken." Sunny said her voice a lifeless monotone as tears ran down her cheeks.
"Please forgive me, Miss Starscout; I didn't mean to make you upset like that," Blueberry said, apologetic in a reassuring manner a hallmark of her royal upbringing.
"But anyway, Miss Starscout, I am planning an expedition to the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters in about a week. I heard you and your friend Izzy talking about it earlier and wondered if you would like to accompany me to the castle. The only hitch is that I need more pony help." Blueberry explains as Sunny eyes light up.
"Of course, I want to. And don't worry, Miss Silverlight, I can get more help! For your expedition to the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. May I put what I find in my journal?" Sunny asked, holding her father's journal in her hand.
"Sure, Miss Starscout, as long as no one learns the exact location of the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. We don’t want the unicorn guardian upset with us.” Blueberry said with a smile.
"All right, Miss Silverlight, it's a deal," Sunny said as she shook the hand of Blueberry and agreed to meet her back here in about a week with extra help.
