It was a long gloomy day in the town of Ponyville. Usually the entire town was full of happy faces and cheerful citizens going around and enjoying their day without a problem in the world, however to this day not a single smile has appeared in any of the citizens faces. Not one person stallion, mare, filly, and every other creature had a single hint of joy on their faces all they had was sad and regretful looks. Not one of em had even the slightest sign of happiness, it was nothing but pure sadness. And it all transpired after the incident last year involving a certain page of the weekly newspaper gossip column.....................
Gabby Gum's
A newspaper article well known for spreading juicy gossip involving a certain celebrity or even royalty itself, and written by non other than Ponyville Schoolhouse. students from the classes were required to come up with news stories for each of the column's of the paper involving either sports, the weather, birthdays gossip, etc. But the one column that stood out the most was Gabby gums, again notorious for it's juicy gossip stories but also notorious for ruining reputations and spreading rumors and lies. Due to the column's history it went on hiatus for a bit that is until the newest editor of the newspaper was chosen.................................Diamond Tiara. Not wanting to waste this opportunity to spread some juicy secret's and gossip, the young bully took it upon herself to revive the column (and of course without the permission of her teacher Ms Cheerilee, classic Tiara) She soon started to jot down every name in town and find out and juicy and private secrets she could write down on the paper, she even got a few of her bullying victim's "onboard" with the column the Cutie Mark Crusaders Apple bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. At first the three refused to do anything their longtime bully said and to invade everyone's privacy, but after Tiara threatened to spread not their darkest secret but their friends as well they reluctantly went along with it and that's then the madness happened.
Soon the latest newspaper was printed and everyone in town got themselves a copy. They were surprised to find that Gabby gum's was brought back despite the controversy, but the citizens couldn't waste this opportunity to find what juicy secrets the now revived gossip column had in store for them. However their curiosity soon turned to rage after reading the column and finding their own secrets on it. all week a different secret was posted onto the column involving up to 5 -10 citizens and they openly cursed the 3 girls who were responsible for starting the column, but non were more pissed off then the main 6. After their secrets were spread the 6 longtime heroes were genuinely disappointed and angry at the three filly's for invading not only their but everyone's privacy. and each of em displayed it in their own way Rarity by scolding Sweetie Belle for reading her diary , Twilight putting a shield spell on her house to prevent them from coming anywhere near her or Spike, Angel not letting them come near Fluttershy who spent the whole week crying her eyes out, Applejack just shunned then while Big Mac yelled at them, Rainbow Dash nearly drowned then with a rain cloud, and Pinkie left town for a few days due to the feedback she got from her secret. With that the damage was done , now pretty much outcast of the entire town the three filly's simply locked themselves inside their clubhouse not wanting to face their families or the citizens knowing that they hated each of their gut's. Sad and alone the three of em wanted to apologize so badly but given that no one would listen to them when they tried to explain the reason why they went along with it in the first place, they simply brushed this off. After spending the whole day in their clubhouse collecting their thought's, the three filly's finally made their decisions. If their siblings or friends didn't want to listen to or want anything to do with them then fine they'll make their wish come true.
Later that night while every citizen was at home fast asleep the three friends collected themselves and made their way out of Ponyville not even bothering to pack any supplies with them especially with the fear of getting attacked verbally by their families again if they stepped foot inside their respective houses. So they simply just walked out of town not even bothering to look back or leave a goodbye note, they even went as far as to curse their loved ones for not even coming to check up on them all day, so with that the three friends walked off into the night leaving behind everything . The next day every citizen in town awoken and some made their way to the newspaper storage boxes to see who's lives those three fillies wrecked today , but to their surprise they found the Gabby gum's column empty without a single story in sight. They simply just brushed this off thinking that Gabby gum's learnt their lesson about spreading secrets, however the real reason soon came into fruition. Applejack who was now awake as well made her way towards her lil sis's room along with Big Mac, Riddled with guilt over their behaviors the other day they knocked on the door ready to apologize to Bloom but to their surprise found that she was no where to be seen. They then made their way downstairs thinking that she went down to get breakfast but still no sign of her, they then checked the rest of the barn but there was still no sight of their little sister. The sibling then checked the girls clubhouse but she wasn't there either. They soon started to worry as to where their sister might be so they decided to check around town to see if anyone's seen them and to their surprise they bumped into Rarity and Rainbow Dash who both stated that Scootaloo and Sweetie belle didn't return home last night and were missing too. their worrying soon increased and the three friends then went to the other's to see if they've seen them. However Twilight stated that she and Spike hasn't seen then since they attempted to drop by yesterday, Fluttershy who finally calmed down hasn't seen them either, Pinkie who returned home last night stated that she hasn't seen then either especially since she just got back. The 6 friends then decided to ask around town to see if anyone's seen the CMC's anywhere.
However non of em showed any interest in helping to look for them especially with the Gabby Gums stunt they pulled all week but a few ponies did agree to keep an eye out and let them know if they've seen them. Days turned into week's and still no sigh of the young fillies anywhere, everyone in town despite still being disappointed in the three fillies now started to worry about where they are and if they're ok, but non were more worried than the main 6 especially Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow dash at the thought that their sister's were still missing. However Diamond Tiara showed the least bit of remorse and found the entire situation priceless knowing that those three blank flanks were gone for good and she even went as far as to throw a good riddance party. Silver Spoon full of regret and appalled at her friends selfishness came to Twilight and the others and admitted Tiara's little scheme about reviving Gabby gums for her own diabolic desires and forcing the Crusaders to give her juicy and private secrets involving the citizens and their families, and threatening to publish their secret's along with their friends if they didn't go along with it or threatened to quit or back down. After hearing her statement the 6 friends were in shock that a filly would do something so selfish just to spread everyone's private secrets and forcing others into her little scheme, their shock soon turned into guilt after realizing the true reason for their disappearance................................................................

The 6 friends cursed themselves for being so harsh towards the three fillies and not giving them a chance to explain themselves especially since it wasn't all their fault and that they were forced to do it out of fear of not only their but their classmates secrets getting spread if they didn't go along with it, and realization soon entered their minds when they realized that the CMC's must have ran away from home feeling that no one loved them anymore and their guilt soon increased. Soon everyone in town found out the truth behind their disappearance and the true purpose of gabby gums and just like the main 6 were riddled with guilt over their harsh treatment towards the three fillies. Soon Diamond Tiara was exposed and everyone in town including her classmates showed their disappointment and anger towards her for manipulating the CMC's, forcing them to spread their secret's, and even going as far as to blackmail them. After that the young filly was kicked out of the School's newspaper team, given a month's detention, grounded for the rest of the year, and Silver spoon broke off their friendship after realizing how big a bully her so called friend was, the young filly didn't bother talking back especially since she was surrounded by many pissed off faces. After the truth was exposed each of the remorseful citizen's contributed to the search of the CMC's and vowed to not rest until they were brought home safe and sound.
However a whole year has passed and their hasn't been a single sign of the three young girls, everyone in town's been searching for the rest of the year. They've asked around all over and even contacted some friend and relatives out of town if they've seen them but to no luck. Celestia even contributed to the search while a little disappointed at Twilight and the others but more disappointed at Diamond Tiara's actions had her guard's search around equestria for a sign but to no avail. She was even considering calling off the search after a whole year of little clues fearing that it was a possibility that they were..................................................well I'd rather not say that word. But Twilight and the others would not accept that and pleaded with the princess to not call off the search and Celestia seeing the seriousness in each of their eyes agreed to not call off the search (for now). Every single one of them continued the search not giving up until the three of em were back home safe and sound and that they would give them the biggest and most sincerest apology imaginable, but however they would soon find that later on it wouldn't be as easy as they thought it would.
