It's been a few days since The Sinister Egg Core was destroyed. Otto Octavius was sent back to The Raft, Eggman and Sombra however, since they committed these crimes on Earth, their punishment falls into S.H.I.E.L.D's jurisdiction. The two villains were sent to The Vault, where the baddest of the bad go. 

It's safe to say that the heroes wouldn't be hearing from either Eggman or Sombra for a while. 



 

Since The Chimera was destroyed, The Avengers had to reset up shop in an old S.H.I.E.L.D facility. At this moment, the Mobians, Humans, and Ponies were getting to know one another before they had to say goodbye. With the magic and Chaos Energy returned to its occupants, all that was left was to seal away the Infinity Stones for safe keeping. 

This was being handled by Tony Stark and Miles Prower. 

As the stones were placed in a protective barrier, Tony looked down towards Tails and smiled. 

"You know, for a kid your age, your pretty smart. Whenever you come back, feel free to visit Stark Industries. I can show you the ropes and what not." 

Tails' eyes widened as he shook Tony's hand in anticipation. 

From a distance, Captain Steve Rogers was watching along side Celestia, both of them smiling. 

"Thank you." 

Celestia turned to the captain as she arched an eyebrow. 

"For coming to our aid when we needed it. If it wasn't for you and your friends, things might have turned out differently." 

Celestia giggled, "Think nothing of it, Captain. Sombra is our problem, it only made sense for us to help you clean up our mess." 

Steve nodded at that and crossed his arms, "You know, when I was first melted out of that ice, I never thought that I'd make friends with talking animals and ponies. Life is strange sometimes." 

"That much is true. But it is thanks to the friendships forged that we were able to overcome the evil that threatened us." 

Steve smiled and turned to Celestia, "I just hope that our three worlds can cooperate and make peace." 

Shadow then approached them, "I can't believe that I'm about to say this. But I have faith in The Faker and Princess Twilight that everything will be as it is meant to be." 

Celestia looked deviously at Shadow, "What's this? Finally opening up?" 

Shadow actually cracked a smirk, "Don't push it, Celestia. Now that the threat has been dealt with, G.U.N and S.H.I.E.L.D are trying to make relations with one another, to make sure nothing like this ever happens again." 

Steve chuckled as he rolled his eyes, "Heh. Wonder how that's going." 

Celestia flared her wings and smiled, "But enough about politics. Our worlds are now aware of each others existence. Now with the new friendships that have been forged, a new era has dawned upon us. An era of unity! I only hope that good things await us beyond the horizon." 

Both of them nodded in response. Even thought right now the future was uncertain, they all had a feeling that everything would work out the way it was supposed to. 



 

 

A set of flowers was set down in front of tombstones. These tombstones belonged to May Parker and Ben Parker. 

Peter knelt down and touched both headstones with his hands. 

As a tear fell down his face, he felt the comforting presence of both Twilight and Sonic the hedgehog. Sonic placed a hand on his friend's shoulder while Twilight rubbed her eyes with her hoof. 

Peter smiled slightly, "Thank you. The both of you." 

His two friends smiled in response. 

"Think nothing of it, Pete. Knowing what you've been through, I can honestly say that you are one of the strongest people I know. Life may knock you down, but you always get back up on your feet. You live your life making the world, no scratch that, WORLDS safer for others. I can say with full confidence that your aunt and uncle would be proud of the man you are," said the blue hedgehog. 

Twilight smiled, "He's right, Peter. You are one of the best people I know. You represent everything that is good in the world. You offer protection, hope. You're a hero, and Jameson is CRAZY to think otherwise. And I'm proud to call you my friend." 

She then turned to Sonic, "And you as well, Sonic. And I'm so sorry that I thought otherwise." 

Sonic then gave the alicorn a kind smile, "Twi, no matter how long it takes, I'm going to make it up to you. Us three, we've been through thick and thin. We always have each others backs. No matter what." 

Peter chuckled and stood up, "Well said, needlemouse." 

Sonic stuck his tongue out in response. 

"Now that Otto and his buddies are locked up, I could use a vacation." Peter stated. 

Twilight arched an eyebrow, "I'm still confused as to how these 'Infinity Stones' ended up in our world. Let alone became the Elements magic." 

Pete crossed his arms, "A few years back, an intergalactic threat gathered the stones and wiped out half of the universe. From what I was told by Tony, once that threat was beaten, they found out that the stones don't work in other realities. So they decided to send them away so nobody could get their hands on them again." 

"So they ended up on Equis. Where presumably, the Tree of Harmony found them and broke them down into nothing but their power. Which was then turned into the magic of the Elements!" Twilight surmised. 

Sonic smirked, "That's as good a theory as any."  

Peter looked concerned, "Twilight, you still got your magic, right?" 

Twilight nodded, "Yeah, but without the stones to amplify it, my magic won't be as strong as it used to be. Something I'll have to get used to I guess." 

Peter placed a hand on her shoulder, "Well, if you or your friends are ever in need of help. Gimme a call and I'll swing on by." 

Sonic then placed a hand on her other shoulder, "Same with me, except I'll run there. Much quicker than swinging." 

Peter playfully punched Sonic's shoulder in response. 

Twilight had tears in her eyes as she tackled both of them into a bone crushing hug. To which the other returned.

As the sun set in the distance, the three friends broke out of the hug and watched the sun go down together. The future right now may be uncertain. But if there is ever a problem that needs quick feet, lessons in friendship, or the help of a certain wall crawler. Just know that help..... 

Is always beyond the horizon.
