"Hmm. I bet... 50 Bits."
"Pah! I see your 50 and raise you another 200 Rings!"
"Ugh. Honestly, Ivo. You must learn to raise the stakes. Live a little! I raise you another 500 dollars."
The three villains were gathered together in front of Cadance's cell, watching as a Motobug, a mind controlled Derpy Hooves, and the newly created Octobot slowly approached the Princess of Love.
Otto smiled smugly at his partners, "Trust me, boys. My newly designed Octobot is the peak in offensive capabilities. This bet is mine for the taking."
Eggman waved his hand dismissively, "While I recognize your craftsmanship, Otto. You can't go wrong with the classics! My Motobug, while an older model, will surely secure the win!"
Sombra snorted, "Those are all well and good," both evil geniuses turned to the evil unicorn, "nothing beats the classic mind controlled servant! Like everything else, this bet shall be mine!"
As the three lackeys approached Cadance, who was backed up against the wall, the three villains watched eagerly as their goons approached the Princess.
"Come on, Motobug! Slice her to pieces!"
"Show this fool the true meaning of pain, my precious Octobot!"
"Sic her, fool! Don't embarrass me!"
The three goons were about to reach the Princess, closing in from three different angles.

That is until they each crashed into one another, much to the Princess' surprise.
Eggman then proceeded to face palm himself for what just happened, while Sombra's jaw practically fell to the floor, and Otto just sighed in annoyance as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
While the three lackeys were busy ramming into one another, or in Derpy's case, throwing muffins at one another, Cadance walked past them and made her way towards the front of her cell.
"Now that I have your attention," Cadance began.
Sombra rolled his eyes, "Oh, here we go. One of those annoying speeches about Harmony and Friendship you ponies love to spray at every chance you get."
Eggman however, was too busy trying to process what had just happened earlier, "I mean.... Wha.... DO THESE FOOLS NOT KNOW HOW TO WALK IN A STRAIGHT LINE?!"
Cadance ignored him and continued, "Please, it isn't too late to stop this. Just think about what you three are doing here. You're all planning to tamper with the fabric of reality using your weapon of mass destruction. Using that to rewrite ALL universes is far too dangerous and too much, even for those who proclaim themselves as geniuses."
While Sombra glared and Otto folded his arms is disapproval, Eggman had a questioning look on his face.
"How do you know about our plans to-"
Eggman was quickly cut off by Sombra, who quickly rushed in front of the egg shaped man.
"No, no! Don't listen to her! She and those other annoying mares are ALWAYS like this!"
Sombra then stomped over towards the cell with a look of annoyance on his face.
"For all you spout, Cadance, you never had the GALL and INITIATIVE to do what was actually needed for The Crystal Empire! Your visions of peace for all is equality and love!" Sombra sneered, "So everything is peaceful in The Crystal Empire? Everything is lovely? So WHAT?" Sombra's eyes glowed with Dark Magic as he continued, "We've created an entire REALITY! We're going to reshape time and space across three worlds-- And soon ALL WORLDS!" Sombra turned away and held his head up high in praise of himself with a smug look on his face, "You're scared, Cadance! Scared your lack of initiative will finally leave you eclipsed in the shadow of my reign! I have complete control!"
(Pause song)
Cadance then smirked, "Just like when you 'took' over Canterlot?"
And with that, Sombra's confidence shattered like glass as his pupils shrunk into pinpricks and his jaw fell.

Sombra quickly regained his posture and turned away, "I have no idea what you're referring to," Sombra muttered.
"This has happened before, Sombra. When you were resurrected, you destroyed the Elements of Harmony and seized control of Canterlot. You thought you had control of the situation then, but you got too cocky for your own good and you immediately lost again. It seems that the exact same scenario is repeating. Except your foolishness could destroy everything anypony has ever known. You could literally--"
Sombra had heard enough and started to walk away, "I've heard enough! Let us go, my compatriots! We have an army to prepare!"
While Otto muttered something under his breath and walked out with Sombra, Eggman gave Cadance a smile that shook her to the core. Once Eggman had left, Cadance had begun trying to make a connection with Twilight through their love for one another. It was a long shot, but at the moment, it was all she could do.

As the three villains walked through their hallways towards the Gateway room, Otto turned to Ivo.
"Is everything ready?"
Eggman smirked, "Of course! Once we get to the Gateway, we can summon those fools to our Netherworld and take everything we need for our goals to be achieved!"
Sombra then smirked, "But we can't make it too easy."
Eggman nodded, "Of course not," he then turned to Otto, "Our modifications to The Sinister Six have gone well I hope?"
Octavius nodded, "Everything is ready. And The Deadly Six are on standby as well."
Eggman then grinned, "Then let's roll out the welcome mat."
A few hours after Spike had sent the letter to both Celestia and Luna, the group of heroes had finally arrived at Canterlot Castle. Everyone looked as eager as ever to finally put an end to this madness for good, that is, everyone except Spike, who looked exhausted after the long trip.
"You know, I get that we usually take the train to Canterlot. But why couldn't Shadow have just teleported us here?"
Shadow raised an eyebrow and responded to the young drake.
"Something in this dimension is tampering with my Chaos abilities. I am unable to produce enough Chaos Energy to even form a Chaos Spear," he then tried to form a Chaos Spear in his hand, but only managed to produce a single spark of Chaos Energy.
Twilight raised an eyebrow at that, "That's strange. We had no problem channeling the power of the Chaos Emeralds when we used them against Robotnik the first time."
Sonic then pulled out one of the Chaos Emeralds they had in their possession and saw that it had turned grey.
"Obviously the work of the Three Musketeers," Spidey quipped.
As they all entered the castle, they had gazed upon the ponies and creatures gathered within the castle. There were some recognizable ponies among them. Starlight Glimmer, Trixie, Ember, The Young Six, The Cutie Mark Crusaders, Queen Novo, Shining Armor, Luna, Celestia, and so many more.
Twilight beamed happily as she flew over and embraced both Celestia and Luna.
"Thank you both so much for helping us!"
Celestia smiled kindly, "Of course, Princess. This threat you mentioned is a danger to not only our world, but All worlds."
"We are with you, Twilight," Luna added.
Starlight then walked over to her mentor, "To the end."
Tears threatened to burst from Twilight's eyes as she smiled the happiest smile she had in a long time. But that smile faded when she saw that Cadance wasn't among them. She turned to Celestia.
"Where's Cadance?"
Celestia and Luna looked down in sadness.
"After we sent out our letter to The Crystal Empire, Shining Armor had informed us that Cadance had been abducted a few hours prior," Celestia revealed.
Twilight looked crushed, but she knew who had taken Cadance, and she knew that she was going to make them pay dearly for this.
"We'll save her, just like we'll save everyone else," Twilight said optimistically.
She then turned around and floated into the air, gathering everyone's attention.
She then spoke in the Royal Canterlot Voice.
"I know that what I am asking of you is a lot. More than you could possibly give. But I'm not asking you as your Princess. I am asking you as a friend in need. In need of your help," everycreature listened closely as Twilight continued, "There is an enemy that appears to be all powerful. But they aren't. They may think that they hold the keys to victory. But they don't. Because they are missing a crucial element. Friendship. They may stand united as one. But if you'll help me and my friends, then we'll stand together. United in friendship. United as a kingdom. Together, we can save not only our world, but ALL worlds. So please. Will you stand with me?"
And with those final words, the room was filled with cheers and acknowledgement of their answer. Twilight had done it. She had the help she needed.
Sonic walked over to her and placed a hand on her should after she landed back on the ground.
"I guess you got your answer."

Suddenly, a tremor shook Canterlot and the sound of a portal opening drew everyone outside. Once they went outside, they saw a large portal just outside the castle.
Sonic, Spidey, Twilight and the others all looked at one another with determination in their eyes.
"Here's the welcome mat," Miles quipped.
"This is it. This is where we end it. We stop them here and now," Shadow stated.
"Well then, what are we waiting for?" Sonic added.
Twilight looked toward the portal and flared her wings.
"Let's finish this."
Twilight had exited the portal first, then Sonic, and everyone else in their army stepped out of the portal. As the portal closed, they all saw Nethertower, the villains' base of operations in the distance.
Sonic sighed and pinched his nose, "If it isn't a Death Egg, it's a giant boss tower."
"SUP, SPIDER-MAN?" A sudden voice asked.

Suddenly, Electro appeared right in front of them, hovering in the air supporting a new look.
"How do you like my new suit?" Electro asked.
Peter took a step forward, "Electro? What did you do?"
"Heh. The dweebs actually did it. They made me a being made out of pure energy," he flared the electricity in his hands, "Oh, but that ain't all. I'm not the only one who got an upgrade."
Suddenly, multiple portals opened up and The Sinister Six, minus Doc Ock, stepped out, each with their own upgrades.
Then The Deadly Six, minus Zavok, stepped out and glared at the heroes as multiple mind controlled ponies, Badniks, Octobots, and Demon Thugs appeared through multiple portals.

The armies glared at each other, waiting for anyone to make the first move.
Peter then entered a crouched position as the heroes got ready to fight.
"All right then."
Peter clenched his fist as he glared at the army before him.
"Let's save the multiverse."
