Three vessels from Starfleet arrived in orbit and one began hailing the Harmony.

Due to your outstanding abilities in helping the Enterprise and her crew hold off the Borg and finally destroy them, we hereby grant you permission to be allies allies with us. You will be an emergency branch due to your distance from our area in the universe."
Flurry Heart relayed the message to Twilight and they both acknowledged. For much time to come, more of the vessels from Starfleet travelled to Eqqus to learn about the society. They remained allies for many years.
