Sweetie Belle and King Sombra are currently lying on the ground, and staring up at the ceiling. Why? Because as mentioned; Sweetie Belle is too old for foalsitters… . And also that since she’s old enough to stay on her own; yet despite what her personality might suggest; she couldn’t think of anything that’ll satisfy her boredom… ; let alone what there is to do at the boutique now that she’s almost a grownup; per se.
Few hours have passed, and still nothing. At least until… .
“Grrr, I’m so bored!” Sweetie Belle said out of boredom. “There’s nothing to do, and I’m too old to deal in kiddie games now… ! Cmon!”
King Sombra sighs, gets up from the floor, and then says; “well, so what? Who says you have to grow up too fast?”
Sweetie Belle gestures with both of her hooves pointing towards a window, and then says; “society. That’s who!”
King Sombra chuckles, and then says; “yeah.. so what? Who says that you can’t still be a kid while you’re young; right?”
Sweetie Belle frowned with drooping ears, and then says with a slight whine in her voice; “no… .”
King Sombra nodded, and then replied; “right!” and approached Sweetie Belle. “So what do you say that we do something that you used to do when you were little. It doesn’t have to be when you were too little; let alone a little baby… right?”
Sweetie Belle said with slight hesitation; “right… .”
Sombra nodded once more, and then replied; “so… ? What do you think… ?”
After giving it some careful thought, Sweetie Belle replied; “deal… “ but eventually looked stern, and added; “but if there’s an activity that’s literally just for foals that you offered me, then I’m calling it off. Got it?”
King Sombra shrugged, and then said; “whatever you say princess.”
Sweetie Belle then growled; mainly because of two things… . One is that she’s sick and tired of being referred to as Flurry Heart’s lookalike; despite them not being the same age, or even having the same mane color, and such. As for the second reason; she’s beginning to regret accepting as to what’s she’s gonna do with King Sombra… .
But eh, who knows… ? Maybe Sweetie Belle might enjoy doing a childish activity… ? Or maybe she’ll hate it; like she’d usually do… . Well; as many others would’ve said; “only one way to find out… .”
