Final Confrontation

Castle Comforts

He feels empty. Empty and Angry. The only noise that fill his ears is the noise of flesh colliding with stone. He doesn't know how long he's been at this, all he does know is that there's a sizable crater in the wall from the idle punching. He was certain his knuckles are worse for wear. He doesn't care. Another punch lands on his not really particular target against the already crumbling stone wall. He lets out a grunt when his other fist replace the first after pulling back.

"Awe, why the long face?" A familiar voice calls out to his ears.

"What do you want, Discord?" Justin asks with another punch to the wall.

"My, my, you sound more wound up than Twilight on a good day!" Discord appears behind the human.

Justin huffs and throws another fist, punching straight through the stone wall with bared teeth.

"Ooh, looks like I hit a nerve."

"I'm about to headbutt a bitch if they don't tell me what they want." Justin growls as he moves to another part of the wall. He throws a punch at it, stopping mere centimeters from the sudden appearance of Discord's face in it's path.

"Nice reflexes." Discord smugly compliments, slithering away from the wall and around the human. "I want you to come with me. I think you're overdue for some.... answers. I suppose."

Justin raises a brow, glaring at the Spirit of Chaos out of the corner of his eye. "You suppose I'm overdue for answers.... about what?"

Discord just smiles at him and slinks off his body. Beckoning the man to follow with his paw before starting to make the small walk down a mostly intact hall. Justin rolls his eyes and starts to follow him since he has nothing really better to do. Discord led him down the hall and into a small alcove of a room where a coffee table is present, a tea set at the ready, and two clouds in the shape of beanbag chairs. The human only watches on as his great irritation took a seat on one of the clouds and starts to pour tea.

"Come, my boy! Sit! Sit!" Discord calls, gesturing towards the empty cloud nearby. "We have much to discuss."

Justin just let's out a sigh, he wasn't going to leave him be so he might as well play along. he walks over to the cloud and seats himself right on it while Discord smiles at him. The man takes up one of the tea cups, taking a sip of the warm liquid and gazes over to his host.

"What's this about, Discord?" Justin asks him.

"You already know since you already told you why he's here." Discord tells him with a grin.

Justin groans. "Okay then. What did I-He mean by the 'Spirit of Chaos herself?'"

"One does not simply get reality warping powers without the knowledge of their other selves." Discord muses.

"Did.... Did you just meme at me?" Justin looks dumbfounded.

"Maybe I did." Discord takes a sip of the cup, leaving the tea alone. "Although, the particular one that... Oh blast! What's he calling himself? Ah, Kronos! The particular Spirit Kronos is talking about likes to go by the name of Eris, and she like to make bets with some very fine print."

"I can see why he would change his name then. So it doesn't happen a second time." Justin mutters. "Eris?"

"She's an absolute treat! Why, once, she played cards against some Diamond Dogs and made them take a picture like that!" Discord chuckles as he remembers that tale. "I don't think she's far from her powers though, as her fight with that other you has left her rather weak."

"So they will go back to her then? When she's strong enough?" Justin asks, seeming a little more calm now.

"I suppose, if you let her have her magic back." Discord muses yet again with a smugly smug grin.

The human sits there in silence. Mulling over the information in his head for a moment. Discord is staring at with with that grin of his as he watches the man process what he was given. Justin swirls the cup a little, takes a sip, then smacks his lips a couple of times as he stares into space. Then his eyes snap to Discord.

"Something else you'd like to ask?" Discord asks.

"Maybe... why me? Of all possible realities, why?" Justin looks at him a little concerned now. "Cuz she can have her magic back, it's... well, nice. But it ain't mine and it don't belong in this Equestria."

"Wasn't it Twilight Sparkle that told you that you didn't belong here after your second trip back? Then you came back anyway using some means of magic?" Discord smiles at him as he leans in. "What's so different?"

"I guess nothing, but it still ain't my magic." Justin muses just a little.

"You came back a Third time, that should tell you all you need to know why Eris has picked you over Lord Pouty-Puss currently over in Ponyville."

"Right... I'm stubborn?" Justin looks up a him.

"Hmmm... maybe." Discord just chuckles. "Eris works in ways I choose not to understand."

"Great, thanks a lot, Discord."

"Anything for a friend!" He sings. "Wanna see something? I think it might help."

Justin looks at Discord and raises his brow a bit, nodding his head in agreement. The Spirit of Chaos grin grows wider as he snaps his fingers and a book appears on the table before them. The man looks down at the book for a moment before picking it up. He glances over to Discord for a moment. A moment was all he needed for the draconequus to beckon him on. With a heavy sigh, Justin opens the cover of the strange book Discord conjured up.

He flips through the pages and at first there's, well, nothing. The pages are blank. Confusion starts to set in as he keeps turning page after page of nothingness. Then he stops after a dozen or so blank pages and stares at the book, having found something. He reaches out and runs his fingers along the image that is presented on the page: A memory. His memory of first arriving in Equestria.

"How?" Justin asks, staring at the book. "Have you been in my head?"

"No, goodness no." Discord chuckles. "I just happen to have a book that shows certain memories to whoever opens it!"

Justin continues to thumb through the pages of this strange book. It's been showing him only memories of his time in Equestria. Starting with his arrival, the ponies he's met, things he's done, and friends he's made. He chuckles a little as he looks over all he did to those pirate ponies from his very brief time in Manehatten. There are a few with Twilight from their little adventure to another Equestria, fun times. He look over a couple of more pages with Fudge, Vinyl, Derpy, and even the girls. After that he just closes the book and sets it back down on the table with a heavy sigh. He leans his head back and closes his eyes for a moment.

"Discord." Justin finally breaks the minutes of silence. "Why are you doing this?"

"What makes you think I have some ulterior motive? I can be a friend." Discord acts as though he is offended.

Justin raises a brow at him a bit. "For Fluttershy, ain't it."

"Well. Her and I've always wanted to see two magically charged humans duke it out." Discord finally admits.

"Dammit, Discord." Justin tells him with a small smirk this time. "He has a bit more experience with magic than I do."

"That may be, but you have the magic to be damn-near immortal." Discord chimes in, drinking the rest of the cup. "A little bit sloppy, but that can be fixed."

"How?"

Discord just chuckles at him and points his claw at him. "Stop thinking like a Pony and think like the spawn of Chaos you are!"

Justin seems to cock is head off to the side at the comment. Admittedly a little on the confused side the more he thought about it. His head tilts back up and the answer is now clear as day to him. The human takes another drink of the tea as he stares over to the far wall. He needs a plan, and one that would do him some good. One that'll let him let loose like he should. He'll have to play the Ego Game.
