Season 1: Scion of Gusty: Ep 4: Trial by Fire

Over about a whole month has passed since Ullr and his friends came together at the mansion
But it’s been a couple of days since the juggernaut incident
So now all the young X-Men have arrived in the professors location of the dining hall. as the professor turns the lights
“Good afternoon my students” the professor says still wearing his bandage but it’s small compared to what is surrounded by him
Lots of decorations and party favors galore oh my
“Wow!” Silverstream is in awe with stars in her eyes
“What’s the occasion” Mayday asked
“Oh is it my early birthday or is it one of your birthday or is it the teachers birthday?!” Silverstream was guessing
Then the other teachers came in “not quite comrade” peter Rasputin said as he Scott Kurt and Ororo came in with certain meals and gifts
“We wanted to wait for you all to recover and feel less sore to celebrate” Ororo mentioned
Gallus wondered “For what?”
“For your victory against the juggernaut mein fraud” Kurt reminded him
“I helped” megaman said now housing inside mainframes body
“Megaman is that you in there?” Sandbar said
“Yes megaman exe is indeed in this robotic unit” mainframe answered for him
“Mainframe is a great roommate, and Mayday helped me figure out a way to travel in between other spots” as he appears in other screens and back into mainframe
“So now I can go in the stratojet, maydays helmet, or just mainframe”
“That’s fine but back to the party what was special about the juggernaut battle” Yona said
“Naturally when we all first faced him we had to rely on the help of the professor here or Jean Grey” Scott said
“Who’s Jean” Ullr asked
“Well…let’s just say she’s your senior graduate, if possible you may all see her soon” Scott mentioned
“But back on topic you children managed to beat one of the toughest adversaries we’ve ever faced “ he said
Ororo places their treats in “we can easily see that your training has paid off”
“Not one not too but 3 successful missions you 8 are all on a role!” Kurt congratulates them
He hands some of the animalistic looking heroes presents
“Uh thanks?” Gallus looks suprised
“You alright?”
“Uh yeah let’s just say it’s…rare for me to get any gift where I’m from”
While the other five look sad
“You guys okay?” Ullr said
“It’s okay guys, I’m just going to skip over any spoilers since the professor may spoiler things” he points to Xavier
“I’m just one of those unlucky brats who grew up without a family”
He shocks some of his teachers and Ullr and Mayday
“Wow I knew Griffinstone was a backwater tower but I never expected child endangerment” mayday thought
“Of course you don’t griffinstone isn’t exactly number one in the top 10 cleanest towns back home…if I could even call it that”
Gallus then notices the awkward atmosphere “look stop it, I thought this was a party, see I’m opening my gift”
He then opens and sees a watch
“Uh watch?”
“Suprise!” Kurt says “it’s an image inducer” he says as he tests his own for example
“It means you all can blend in the public with Ullr and Mayday” Scott explains
“Oh finally!” Smolder yells
“Yona did grow tired of same rooms day after day”
“Yes flying outside was nice but I still felt restricted” Silverstream admits
Ocellus hesitates a little which sandbar noticed “what’s wrong?”
“ why give me one when I can just” as she morphs into storm for example
“Like it was mentioned earlier it’s better to conserve your energy for important things like defending yourself” peter Rasputin mentioned as he bumped her shoulder
“Ow” she mumbled as she tries it on
“Yona likes new gift!”
So sandbar puts it on with pride “so does this mean that now we can search for our friend?”
Ullr was confused “friend?”
“Remember there was another one of us who went missing after the ether exploded” silverstream said
“Yeah councilor pony!” Yona reminded them
“Oh right, I kinda back when we started training” Ullr mentioned “so who is this ‘councilor’ pony?”
“Oh right, her name is Starlight Glimmer!” Sandbar said
“Kyaaaa!!!”
They all look to see Mayday trip and fall on her back which is very suprising for a Spider mutate
“Oh my” Ocellus cleans up the mess mayday made when she spill some food on the ground but then tries to help her up
She blushed and quickly covers down her skirt
“Ho…ho…how?”
“Spit it out” Gallus said looks at her like she’s having a funny haircut or something
“How could you have someone as dangerous as her as your councilor?!”
The student six blink until smolder realized “Ohh I get it you still think our starlight is still a villain”
“Is she not?”
“No way, she’s awesome!” Silverstream said
“She gave up her bad deeds a long time ago” Ocellus mentioned
“She even helped headmare twilight construct school of friendship!” Yona mentioned
“Uh?…school of friendship”
“You don’t have a school of friendship?” Sandbar said
“I guess things have been too much…in the moment to…make something new” May was so confused “I…need a moment to process this”
“Process sounds right” Ullr respects her response “nice choice picking white today” he said
Mayday looks confused “but I’m not wearing….white…” upon realization when she fell down blushes red in anger again
She drop kicks him “YOU LOOKED UP MY SKIRT AGAIN!!”
“Gwaah!” He lands on one of the cakes “it was a compliment” Ullr said as Kurt chuckles
She then looks at the other boys “well did you look! “ Uh no no!” Sandbar blushes while Gallus simply eats cake
“I’m eating so beat it” Gallus said to her as she webbed his eyes shut
“Morons…” smolder mumbled
‘Well at least everyone forgot my problem’ The griffin continues eating the cake
As Ullr gets onto his bed he starts to fall asleep
He throws his clothes on the laundry heep
“Sigh well maybe the sweet cake smell could make it easier to sleep”
As he slept, his forehead glows a similar glow once again as at the same time, a bright shooting star lands upon the earth
As the week passed they enter another mission
It’s night time, Smolder in her uniform decides to chase their target ahead of her teammates
Back on the stratojet, the whole team decides to debrief during the chase
“So leader what’s so important that we had to delay our cerfew” Gallus yawns to Scott
“Apologies Gallus but the mansion picked up the strange interference that triggered the alarm” he shows footage of a mysterious drone hovering over the mansion
They then look to see Smolder chasing it
“Grr! I’m sick of these things!” She yelled
“What you seen these things before!” Mayday yelled shocked
“Ow!” Yes almost every time I stepped out
“What?…” Scott heard her confession
“Oh shoot!” She didn’t know Scott was listening “Mayday why didn’t you do a private call!”
“Why didn’t you ask!” She got upset “hmmph “
“Look what ever it is do not engage we don’t know what it is capable of”
Ullr takes a good look at the screen and sees the drone “hmmm…”
‘Where have I seen that type of tech before’ he thought as a lost boy from space
Back with smolder to shoots a light to her
“Sigh you know what screw it” feeling threatened then throws a fireball which destroys the drone
“Smolder no!” Cyclops said as he slapped his head
Later they all land on the rooftop where the drone landed
“Smolder what was that?” Scott said he starts to scold her
“It shot some weird beam at me I just reacted naturally”
“But I said don’t fight it, you could have easily just retreated back to the jet”
“Did the beam hurt you” silverstream worries
“Uh?” She checks her body but feels no pain or injury “I feel okay but it could have been my thick hide”
Mayday steps in “or that bot could have been just a scanner” giving her a blunt look
“Well” she kicked the fiery remains “guess we won’t know tonight now will we?” She said
“But what if the maker learns about us”
“Then we’ll teach him a lesson in pain!” Smolder said “you worry too much”
“That wasn’t a wise decision smolder, I gave you a direct order”
“It was hard to hear okay besides we did so well in the previous missions”
“Anyway we should get back, the professor has something in store for us” Scott said to confuse them “we have a meeting with with some important guests”
“Who are they?” Said Ocellus
But before he could answer, he then looks at something unexpected
Smolder starts glowing “huh?” She looks around to her body “
Mayday quickly understands that situation “smolder get the heck out of their!”
“What are you-“ but she vanished
“Smolder!” Sandbar yells
“Oh my god! She became a ghost!” Silverstream yelled while most start scream
“Wait is that going to happen to the rest of us?!” Gallus stresses out
Ullr grabs it “you dirty machine!” He smashes it up and down and keeps repeating
“Stop that you idiot!” Mayday grabs it “this thing could help us find smolder”
“You have an idea!” Scott said
“I think so” she turns up her communication link and her whole helmet “Megaman, scan this device”
“Scan complete” he states
“What’s the result”
“Scans tell us that it is just an ordinary scanner, but…”
“But what?”
“Scans cannot compare the material made”
“What do you mean you can’t”
“I mean this isn’t made from anything on this earth”
“It’s alien tech?” Mayday said
“Aliens, aliens are a thing?” Gallus said making a WTFudge face
“Uh last I checked Asgardians are basically Aliens” mayday points to Ullr who blinks
“Can you tell what hit smolder?” Ocellus asked
“I think it’s nothing deadly but I’m unfamiliar of the energy, but it could be the possibility that she’s somewhere else” megaman theorized
“Too bad we don’t have a tracking thingy” silverstream asked
Mayday chuckles “oh don’t we now?” she makes a comically dark smile
They all walk back as the floating stratojet flies deep over the city
“Introducing the spider tracer, improved by me” she shows a small device
“Improved you didn’t invent it?” Yona asked
“Not important, what is important is that this will be used to find smolder if she’s in the city, hopefully if she’s in the city” she said “if not, then we’ll go back to the mansion and check if mainframe has a scanner”
“But don’t you need to put that on Smolder for it to work?” Ocellus pointed it out
She makes a devious smirk again “that’s why I’ve put trackers on all of you”
“Whaa?!” Sandbar said
“But why?” Silverstream asked
“Because you almost everyone have been recently
Taking stuff from the lab and my stuff without asking!”
Gallus bewildered “she’s not joking” he widens his eyes and slowly looks away ‘does she monitor out movements at home?’
Ullr checks his body “but I don’t think I have one”
She sighs “that’s because in every mission we’ve gone to, you’ve somehow been able to crush every single one of my tracers, so I gave up cause I’m not made of money” she rubs her temples
She goes to the ships commuter “Let’s test it out” and channels the tracers frequency to the ships
They and the screen pops up
“Okay good the tracer say’s she’s still on earth”
“Whew, that’s sort of relief” Yona says
“But where on earth?” Gallus asks
Ocellus steps in and tries to browse the info
“Excuse but only I know how to use the trackers so you should leave it to
“Found her!” Ocellus said in joy
“Wha?” Mayday looks suprised
“Where?” Silverstream says
“The coordinates uploading and…that’s weird” she says
“Let me see that.” May scotches next Ocellus “that’s not just weird that’s too convientally stupid!”
“Well?” Gallus patience is tested
“According to the scanners, it says she’s at…Central Park”
Smolder awakens to a dirty sand like ground
She wakes up due to some loud noise and opens her eyes to see something unexpected
She is inside an arena and it’s packed full with people, blue people…
“That’s weird, people don’t have blue skin…except professor Kurt if you count his fur” she then feels something “gasp” she feels some sort of collar on her neck
“What the heck!” She struggles “get it off me!”
Till she noticed one individual on a floating pedestal
‘Weird this guy looks bigger then the others here’
“You have been summoned the the night kree council!”
He lands his hammer to silence the crowd
“You have been judge by Ronan of the kree empire!”
“I…have no idea who that is, what’s a kree?”
“Such naivety is too foolish to be honest”
“You calling me a liar” she looks mad
“You’d be wise not to bare you fangs at the kree empire for if you insult the accused is the insult the whole empire itself!” He slams his hammer down again knocking smolders footing
“You are summoned to stand trial” he states on why she’s here “for the crimes you have committed”
“Crimes?” She wondered “I have no idea what your talking about”
“You cannot lie your way out of this movement” he warns “if you are found innocent which is unlikely you will have mercy but if found guilty…” he points to some mechanical apex predators
“Are you kidding me?!”
“You will see, but since we kree have a fair and just manor,”
‘You don’t sound fair you pompous blueberry’
“We well let you choose someone to defend you”
“Like a lawyer”
“Choose carefully”
“Okay who do I know who’s” she snaps her fingers
“Ocellus the changeling!”
“So be it”
The stratojet lands above the what appears to be a massive golden dome in the middle of Central Park
“Achoo!”
“Bless you” silverstream said to Ocellus while Mayday well…
“…I don’t know why…but I think the I’m even more mad at smolder now…” she said confusing the Hippogriff girl
“Is anyone going to question why a giant dome chose to be on some spot on central park?” Gallus points out
“Probably cause it likes the nature?” Silverstream answered
“What ever it is, smolder is in there so let’s enter quickly” Scott said
They start to land the jet but then
Ocellus starts to glow “huh?”
“What again?!” Mayday yells as Ocellus vanishes
“Ocellus!” Ullr tries to jump but it’s too late as he crashes against the jet seat dropping his axe
Ocellus warps and lands on her butt “oof!”
She then looks “huh?!” But then sees smolder “smolder your okay!”
“Hey ocellus long story short, strict people, got tried, on a trial for my life your my lawyer go!”
Ocellus then looks around “interesting professor lectured us about human but never said anything about humans with blue skin similar to the ancient culture of Romans”
“I think this is close to one of flash magnus’s culture!” She said a little excited
“OCELLUS!”
“Right sorry” she blushed
So she gets serious for the confrontation “what are the crimes of my client “
“She is tried for bringing the display of conflict to the kree empire”
“But how did that happen?”
He then turns on a holographic screen of smolder destroying that droid “here is a kree sentry sent to observe earth only a scanner but your defendant destroyed it”
Ocellus turns to smolder “didn’t cyclops tell you not to attack?”
“How was I supposed it was a scanner!”
‘None of us knew which is why we had to stay cautious’ she had to keep her composure
“In her defense she did not know it was a scanner for how could she, a simple juvenile dragonoid be aware of technology she has never seen before”
“Oy…” Smolder had a tick mark on her forehead
“This simple but loved creature is appreciated and has respect for her peers as she would never surely cause unintentionally mischief”
The accuser does not budge “if you speak the truth for the reptile, you must prove it”
“Prove it how?”
“I will allow two witness who are familiar with the dragonoid”
“Okay Ocellus I’m trusting you to pick friends who see the good in me”
“Hmm…” she starts to choose
Back on the ship
“What was your plan exactly” as Gallus speaks to Ullr getting up
“I thought if I grabbed her hand it could go to where she was taken”
“Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to bust out our friend before anything serious happens in…” he was about to reach his axe when he starts to vanish too…
“Ullr!” Scott yells
“Wha! What’s happening?!” Sandbar gets beamed too
“No!” Gallus reaches too late
But when Ullr’s axe fell, it tilted the stratojet to a side “Woah!” Almost everyone remaining on the ship screams on the shaking ship
“Darn it Ullr you couldn’t have brought you axe with you?!” Mayday runs to the seat to help Scott steer
On the ground they see some citizens looking at the ship moving around in a ridiculous manner
While a certain old man in a trench coat looks at the ship “I wonder how you new mutants will quell this disturbance Charles”
Ullr and Sandbar suddenly beam onto another floating platform which is next to Ocellus’s platform
“Uhh…my tummy feels sick” sandbar leans on the rails
Ullr looks around and sees “Ocellus there you are!” Relieved that his friend is okay “what’s going on!”
“Long story short, I’m smolder’s lawyer and you two are witnesses to prove she is a good person or she’ll be found guilty”
“Oh is that all…” sandbar said about this scary pressure
Meanwhile Ullr looks around and sees everything clearly…”Oh no…” he gets serious he puts on a frustrated face and hits the rails a little…
Ocellus noticed “Ullr what’s wrong?”
“Ocellus we have to win no matter what” Ullr said “I’ve heard of these people from my home, I even came across there ships a couple of times there the kree”
“So by the look on you face I take it that the kree aren’t the friendliest bunch of aliens around the block.” Smolder said
“I’ll tell you about them later, let’s focus on to avoid their judgement” Ullr warns them
“Right so you two need to prove that smolder is a good person with your testimonies”
“Uh…sure” Ullr tries to think of something while he takes one hand behind him making a unique gesture
“Your Honor” Ullr goes first “ I believe that my associate Smolder the dragon is a honorable dragon” he tries to begin his statement
“This dragon has done nothing but bestow earth’s community with respect and generosity and
[Smolder what are you doing] said a familiar voice
Ullr and the others turn to see a recording of Ullr and Smolder at the garage
[Taking Scott’s car for a ride, you wanna come]
The footage shows them driving off crashing into some mailboxes and doing donuts on some grass property
Even joined a drag race, and crashed into a bakery
“Please tell me that didn’t happen” sandbar said with a shocked face as the car later turns completely messy with some branches sticking out
“I thought she had Cyclop’s permission and She didn’t tell me she had no driving experience!” He defended himself
They then see her fire scare the locals away during the juggernaut chase
And her recent aid in when she demolished the outskirts leaving a burning scar
“Theft of other belongings, scaring the population and desecration of lands? Does that sound like someone who cares about the community” the accuser smirks
“Gah!” Ullr gets upset “I thought that kind of machinery was a myth!” Then he blushes and slumps down “uhhh! Now I feel like a liar…” he hides his blush
“What was that” ocellus said
He regains his composure “Apparently they can read your mind with certain tech and then use those memories as evidence that can work against you” Ullr looks worried
“They have that?!”
“Uh maybe you should let me take a turn” Sandbar said
“Careful sandbar, there technology They probed Ullr’s bad memories of Smolder”
“Then I’ll just try my best I hope to think of the good side” sandbar looks a little confident
“Look me and my friends have known smolder longer than anyone in this universe and I know Smolder would not try to cause trouble unless it was for a good rea
[I can believe you actually did that?!]
They turn to see another footage of sandbars memories
They look at a footage of smolder and Gallus doing a whipped cream joke on Yona
They see Smolder in the lab superheating one of maydays fluid beakers and when she checked on it the webbing formula exploded on her face
Next seeing a footage of smolder playing with a dancing fire man behind Ororo and she turns and she’s nothing but repeats the gag
The group looks at her snickering as sandbar slaps his head
“Several acts of mischief with little reason and I though you terrans would have more self respect” the accuser says
“No wonder it’s wild because the dragon has no respect for any creature”
“All this just because Smolder smashed a drone?” Sandbar said
“Surely all this rally is a bit much for a single drone right?” Ocellus “wouldn’t it be possible for leniency”
“Do not take the kree lightly insect!” He said “for you see this was not her third offense
“What are you talking about?” Ocellus questioned
They look at non memory footage this time
“This happened a week before that day in question as she destroyed another drone”
As she created a fire like spear and shot threw it
“You snuck out again?!” Ocellus yelled
“And another drone two weeks before” as she grabbed it and threw it into an incinerator
“It was pestering me!”
“And another drone last month” seeing her on a joyride on Scott’s car as she rammed the drone away with the car…but came back to set it on fire
“Uh, it may have turned into a habit in those other times”
Ocellus looks worried
And Ullr slams his head on the bar “why didn’t you mention the robots before…” he said to the dragon
“I thought it wasn’t a big deal!”
“This isn’t good, Ocellus the kree are not one for forgiving” Ullr said
“And what’s a plenty from the kree like”
“Let’s just say unless the kree have a chance of heart after generations of tradition, we may have to deal with something grim”
She bites her nail and tries to think with all that evidence stacked against her
“Okay look, It seems that My client made a mistake”
“Attacking kree property is a sign of waging war against the whole kree empire little bug”
“Regardless my client was unaware that those drones belonged to the kree and she should have not struck first so I plea in the area of self defense and my client should be take responsibility and to start anew”
“Huh?”
“She means say your sorry” Ullr said to smolder
“Oh,…oh fine, look I’m sorry, I confess and I am sorry alright” she gets a little mad and grumbles “it won’t happen again”
After a moment the accuser slams his hammer “because the accused admits her guilt, I fine the defendant guilty”
All the crowd does boos
“As for the punishment, you will be sentenced… to be executed for sport”
The arena opens to jump out two cybernetic predators
“WHAT?!” The group yells while Ullr gets mad ‘I should have known, Master Bill was right about them’
Smolder tries to remove her collar or activate her powers but her regular dragon fire can’t reach her neck
“That’s it, Sandbar with me!” Ullr grabs his sword “right” he agrees as he jumps on Ullr’s back and the two jump off to Smolder’s side
“Wait!” Ocellus yells to the judge
“She didn’t know about the drones, why can’t you forgive her”
“All enemies to the kree must be eliminated, we strive to make a point to prove we leave no obstacle in our path”
“So just make new drones, we can try again make friendly relations and peace with your race”
“Fool, kree do not compromise, we conquer”
“What?”
“those drones we meant to study your planets most dangerous warriors and your planets defenses then see how we plow through such inferior creatures”
“I KNEW I DIDNT LIKE HIM FOR SOME REASON!” Smolder heard all that
“Forget it Ocellus, these aliens are the most ruthless being in the galaxy, they were planning to strike first!” Ullr said
“Let’s just focus on surviving and escaping please!” Sandbar said
“Looks like Diplomacy with an alien race just went down the drain” she gives up and flys down
The accuser himself jumps down in confrontation “so be it, I judge you all as enemies of the kree!”
“Can we talk them all?” Sandbar says
“Of course, but incase if the others don’t want to miss the fun, so…” Ullr raises his hand up
“What are you doing?” Ocellus said
“Getting out solution” he strains a little
ocellus turns into a ram and knocks away one beast
“Prepare yourself child” Ronan yells
Sandbar dodges a hammer attack and uses a force field to push him away
Smolder gets chased by the second apex predator “hey isn’t someone going to help me out?!” She yells running
Ullr focuses “I should get…a connection in about…NOW!”
Silverstream hears some metal grinding “hey do you hear that?”
Gallus looks at the axe moving down “guys…”
Mayday looks back “what is it no…WOAH!!!”
Everyone screams as the axe itself drags the ship close to the dome
“We’re gonna crash!” Yona yells
“The axe eventually shoots his way to the door and Gallus opens the door seeing it shoot super fast and crashes so fast it creates a massive hole
“There’s our way in!” Scott says
“Through that?!” Mayday yells
“Brash yourselves!” As they fly there way through
Sandbar and the rest see the axe fly into his hand
“What the?” Sandbar says then
*CRASH!!!*
They see the stratojet crash straight into the center of the arena
“I’m gonna kill him!” Mayday yells within the jet all shooter up with messy hair
Silverstream flies out “guys I see them”
They run out and see sandbar defending himself against a giant blue guy
And smolder breathing out smoke to lose her chaser
“What?! More interlopers!” Ronan yells
“It’s an invasion cyclops” Ocellus yells she dodged an attack from the beast and turns into a trampoline as the beast tried to pounce on her but fails “those drones were scan the planet for weaknesses for an oncoming invasion!”
“I’ve heard enough, let’s show them an earthly welcome” Cyclops said
Gallus flies and grabs ocellus out of the way
Silverstream summons water from Central Park and through the dome hole to blasts the other beast chasing smolder
Ullr uses put away the axe and uses the sword to dual with Ronan
“Typical of an accuser to kill instead of putting an effort to compromise” Ullr taunts
“You dare “ he jumps to avoid some heavy attacks
Yona rams into Ronan from behind while Scott blasts him away to keep distance
“The enemy charges his hammer and creates a shock blasts that blast the three away but Scott is unscathed as Yona took most of them hit
“A genetically altered alien?” Mayday wonders as she presses buttons within the jet “I’m not impressed”
She activates concussion missiles from the jet and
And Ronan sees it he slams them down
“Is that the best you can do?”
“Big mistake” mayday smirks
The missiles explode pushing him back and Yona grabs a beast and smacks Ronan away like a base ball onto his seat
Ocellus sees one dud missile so she morphs her arm and grabs the second charging beast by the arm and throws it to the dud missile causing it to explode
“It just needed a harder impact”
Gallus runs to smolder “let’s try to get that collar off” as he shoots out a small sharp feather and begins to pick pocket the collar off
Ullr checks to see if the enemy is down but the accuser uses the hammer to hit Ullr far into
“Darn it was sloppy of me” he sees a beast jump at him he grabs the beasts claws before they could hurt him so kicks the beast back into the far air
As Ullr jumps and kicks ronans legs down and Yona “blue giant hurts yonas friend” as he grabs his grabs which slams him down
He throws Yona away “you’ve summoned your death sentence calf!” He opens a cage releasing more cybernetic beasts
the giant recovers and blasts ullr and cyclops away
“I’m gonna block the gate!” Sandbar runs the the cages and uses his forced fields to prevent more cybernetic beasts from coming out
“Uh oh” silverstream sees the beasts running the the jet biting parts away so she flies and try’s to yank some beasts away
The door kicks open revealing mayday with net launcher “no one damages my hard work!” As she shoots lots of nets on a couple of beasts
Meanwhile one of the beasts that Ullr threw landed on one of the bystanders seats
Normally it scared all the audience to run away from the monster
But one child was so scared that he could not move
Ullr turns to see the screaming “oh no!” But got distracted as he was slammed down with the enemy’s hammer “gah!”
So Yona holds the enemies arms from behind
So Ocellus turns her hands into jackhammers to strike Ronan
Smolder then sees where he was looking to as the child was in danger
“Hey hey you!, You stupid kid! Get out of there!” But she’s too far for earshot
“Darn it! Gallus are you almost done?!”
“Not yet, I never pick pocket technology let alone alien locks” but seeing as there’s not enough time to release the lock
“Ah forget it!” She runs away to the danger
“No smolder!”
“Come on come on!” She runs trying to build up
“Come on come on come on ,come on”
She starts to burn and burn and burn “I…won’t…be… a useless weak princess!”
“INCENERATE!!!!!” She flames on as her enraged body heat burns off the collar to the point where it melts away as the fire enchanted her wing speed as she left behind a smoking hotspot as she flew
She flies in front of the kid just in time “back off!”
“Now’s your chance kid get out of here!” She yells to the child as he runs away hopefully to his family
But she gets distracted as the monster jumps on smolder and has her on a hold but tries breathing fire at the monster
Then a web line yanks the monster and is shot down by multiple web nets
“Your welcome” said an unamused mayday as smolder flies to her
“Uh sure” she says
Then mayday runs to sandbars side “open the force field but only limited to our height
“What?”
“Just do it”
“You better know what your doing” he says as he opens it
And mayday quickly webs the caged doors and yanks them down with her super strength
As sandbars force field forced most of the monsters back in before it closed
Smolder sees Yona and Ocellus blasted back
And sees the blue guy party with Ullr
“YOU!” The dragon gets mad and flies towards her attempted killer
She flies under him to avoid a hammer strike then jumps on him and tries to hold him down in a choke hold
“I had it with you and you arrogant muscle pushing people around!”
But it’s not around as the massive arm knocks her away as silverstream catches her
“Good try dragon” Yona
Now everyone who recovers tries to surround Ronan charging his hammer
“Now it ends” the enemy prepares to strike
But by a stroke of luck a miracle happened
“Dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon dragon “
The whole group sees the whole kree audience chanting
“Are they, rooting for smolder?” Gallus says
“I think you inspired them” silverstream says as she sees them raise their thumbs up
“Silence!”
The group returns to the focus of the battle “you dare speak against an accuser to the kree, these creatures will be dealt with!”
“They will be dealt with by my-
“HOLD!” Said a new voice
The group sees a holographic image of a mysterious big headed being
“The kree people have spoken accuser” said the Supreme Intelligence
“For Saving the life of a kree, they will be spared for now!”
“Did you hear that Smolder! Yay!” Silverstream hugs her
“But supreme, this smolder the dragon, this woman has defiled me, mocked me, let me destroy them!”
“Silence!” The supreme intelligence warns him in a serious tone
He takes a serious look at the individuals
“Foolish” he looks at silverstream and sandbar Yona
“Impulsive” he looks at Gallus Smolder Mayday Cyclops
…”Incredibly dangerous” he looks to Ullr and Ocellus
“But not an enemy” he rests his case
“And an Asgardian in the fray, with a mix of…something unknown”
“Gh!” Ullr makes a shocked face and turns away with mayday noticing
“Perhaps these individuals will be useful in our war against the skrulls”
“Skrulls?” Ocellus wondered
“As of right now, there sentence will be suspended…for now” the supreme intelligence signs off
“No you can’t do this”
He looks to the group “this isn’t over!” He gets beamed away by force and everything else gets beamed in a flash of light
Everyone slowly recovers and notices that they are all standing on a huge crater on Central Park
“Whew” Ullr says while mayday hits him on the head
“What was that for?”
“You axe almost screwed everyone to kingdom come if I hadn’t landed properly!”
“Sorry but I didn’t plan about leaving my axe there, it was that kree guy who made things weird” he says “but look on the bright side, you got to outsmart an alien race and you saved the stratojet and made a cool landing”
She tries to yell but “sigh I can’t even with you sometimes…”
“You did it!” Silverstream hugs ocellus and smolder
“I gotta admit I’m impressed, in my space travels, I’ve never heard of the kree ever letting someone live” Ullr said
“What can I say, when you got it, you got it” she smiles but then sees Mayday sulking
“Uh…look I’m sorry for ignoring your advice and you too professor Scott.”
That shocks her
“What?” She waits for the patience to stop and the blushes “Look I can apologize when it feels right, okay I didn’t mean to blow you off” she runs her arm
“You were right”
“You should take the win May” Gallus says
“Smolder doesn’t always apologize to people” sandbar says
“Don’t make it sound like I’m ruthless!” She says with sharp teeth
“…uh okay then” Mayday makes a tiny smile
Scott then says “we’ll normally I’d ought to tell the professor for you did about defying orders and going off like a loose cannon…but”
“Buuuut?”
“But I guess being targeted and almost getting killed by a psychotic killer sounds like punishment enough and it looks like you’ve learned your lesson” Scott gives her some mercy “if you do dish duty for 3 weeks, you’ll be completely forgiven”
“Oh uh okay”
Mayday grabs her arm “let’s get back to the jet”
She looks suprised and smiles “cool”
Ullr and the rest follow back
Smolder whispers to Ullr “psst, uhh your not going to blab out about what happened with the trial right?”
“You mean about those times you snuck out, or the fact that you picked Ocellus over Mayday as the smartest to be your lawyer?”
“Well”
“Don’t worry about I have no reason too…”
She sighs
“But you should probably tell sandbar and Ocellus just incase”
That made her slapped her head
“Uh guys?” Gallus said
Getting everyone’s attention before they could go inside the jet
“Something wrong Gallus” Ocellus says but then sees something that could be a problem “oh no”
They see a flying ship and not just any flying ship, the Fantasticar and the problem is with being followed by the fantasticar as multiple citizens with cameras video trucks and paparazzi are starting to surround the corner
“So much for laying low…” Smolder says as everyone grows concerned for what’s about to happen…

This was based on a certain Fantastic Four episode
Not only was this meant to help build Mayday’s trust but for Smolder to not let her arrogance consume her
This also connects them to the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe
