After the Christmas party at Canterlot High, Princess Twilight, along with the Mane six, Blade Swipe, Starlight, and Spike were ready to head back to Equestria in time for Heart's warming's eve. The Ninjas, Rainbooms, Allies, Wallflower, and Sapphire saw them off.
"Thanks for showing us around CHS and how much Christmas is similar to Hearts Warmings Eve." Pony Applejack thanked.
"It was our pleasure." Applejack shook her hand.
"Maybe sometime, you guys can spend Heart's Warming's Eve back home." Pony Pinkie added.
"For sure." Mikey grinned.
"Well, we better be going. We need to finish up for Hearts Warming's Eve." Pony Rarity stated.
"Indeed. I'd like to get back to spend it with my sister."
"Gonna spend it with Trixie myself." Starlight admitted.
"Yeah that and I miss my wings." Pony Rainbow griped. "Feels weird not being able to fly."
Princess Twilight then smiled at Wallflower and Sapphire. "I also want to tell you both that you are always welcome in Equestria anytime."
"Thank you, Twilight." Sapphire smiled.
"We will look forward to that." Wallflower shook her hand.
"Thank you all so much." Pony Fluttershy bowed.
After everyone hugged each other goodbye, The Mane six, Blade, Starlight, and Spike went through the portal. Before she entered, Princess Twilight embraced Leo and pecked him. "Happy Hearts Warming's Eve."
"Merry Christmas." Leo blushed. then they released and Twilight entered the portal as everybody waved goodbye.

The next evening, as everyone was out Christmas shopping, two dogs are out scrounging in Canterlot. One was a Chihuahua named Squirt and the other was an Old English Sheepdog named Niblet. They were special dogs who could talk like Spike, but they keep it a secret, especially to humans. Tonight, they were out looking for food. Squirt then spoke to Niblet.
"Okay, let’s spread out and see if we can find food separate. Remember, never speak to humans!"
"You got it!" Niblet saluted and the two went in separate directions.
Not long after they split up, Niblet noticed a donut shop and drooled at the sight of the donuts. "Mmmm. Donuts."
Just then, Pinkie Pie walked by then noticed the dog and walked up to him.
"Why hello there, little guy. I’m Pinkie Pie! Nice to meet you…." She took a moment to look at his dog tag. "Niblet! You away from home?"
better not speak, Niblet thought as he acted like a normal dog.
"You hungry, Boy?"
Niblet nodded and whimpered.
"I think I can fix that." Pinkie pulled in Bulk Biceps with a violin who shrugged and started to play as Pinkie began to sing.
Pinkie: Well he's a mangy old pet
If you saw him I bet You'd walk the other way
So sad and alone
With his hair overgrown
Like a stinky old toupee
But doggies have feelings, and doggies need love
And doggies like those deep fried treats
That come from up above
Just then, Sweetheart exited the donut shop with a box of donuts and saw Niblet and gave him a donut.
Ohhh! Donuts for Niblet
Please give.. a glazed to make his smile
Next to give Niblet a donut was Ms Cheerlie.
Thank you, ma'am!
Poor troubled beast
Won't you at least
Comfort him awhile?
Big Mac left the donut store with his own box of donuts and saw Pinkie and Niblet.
Sir, can you spare a... donut for Niblet
Please help my doggy friend
Big Mac shrugged and gave Niblet a donut.
Thank you kind sir!
A honey dip would really help
His broken heart to mend... (2x)
Two donut halves combined to the shape of a heart as Pinkie sang more.
Well just look at this pup
He is brightening up
He's looking not so weak
Oh Niblet!
His outlook was grim
'Till you gave pastries to him
Oh look, he wants to speak...
More people came while feeding more donuts to Niblet who howled.
Oh, doggies have feelings!
And doggies need love!
And doggies like sweet, doughy treats that come from up above!
As he ate more donuts, Niblet began to tremble from the sugar rush and then started to dance.
Niblet: (energized) Waltz me around again baby!
Around, around, around!
"Hey wait a minute!" Pinkie noticed.
These donuts are dreamy!
Their filling is creamy!
Oh! Don't let my feet touch the ground
"How are you singing and Dancing? Whoa!" Niblet then grabbed Pinkie and started to spin her around.
I feel like a ship
On an ocean of joy
I just want to holler out loud
"SHIP AHOY!"
Waltz me around again baby!
Around, around, around!
Pinkie fell down as Niblet realized he just talked in front of humans and hurried to look like an innocent dog.
"Maybe... you shouldn't have any more donuts." Pinkie sighed. However, the crowd didn't hear her.
Townspeople: (Giving more donuts) Oh, doggies have feelings
"No no no no! Don't give him any more! It'll make him crazy!" Pinkie stated waving her arms.
Townspeople: Doggies need love
Everyone tossed more donuts while Niblet howled. Pinkie tried to bat away the donuts, but some flew past her. "No, no more donuts for the dog! Oh man, this is a terrible idea!"
Townspeople: And doggies like sweet, doughy treats that come from up above!
Niblet felt the sugar rush again and has a cane and hat as he danced again.
Niblet: Ooooooooooooh!
"Noooo!" Pinkie tried to run away but Niblet was too fast and started to twirl her again.
Niblet: (energize) Waltz me around again baby!
Around, around, around!

After the song, Niblet ran off, leaving Pinkie on the ground. At that time, Mikey, in his cloaking disguise, and Shinigami walked up and saw Pinkie on the ground.
"Pinkie?" Mikey gasped.
"Are you alright?" Shini asked her as they helped her up.
Pinkie groaned. "Don't give donuts to dogs!"
Mikey looked at the donut shop. "Speaking of donuts...."

Meanwhile, Niblet ran back into the alley, with a bag of donuts, where Squirt is waiting with some stuff in a wagon.
"There you are! Where have you been?" he asked the sheepdog.
"Oh, sorry. I was by that donut shop, then this nice girl sang a song and got people to give me free donuts." Niblet said as he put the donuts in the wagon.
"Uh? Whatever? Come on, Strudel's waiting for this stuff back to shelter 17." Squirt said.
As he pulled the wagon, Niblet then spoke to Squirt as they walked away. "You know, that girl looked kinda like that pink pony I video chatted with once?"
