It’s a bright and sunny day… ; Sunny and Izzy are walking outside in Bridlewood; heading to Sunny’s home at the lighthouse.
Now; the reason as to why they’re at Bridlewood is because of three things… . One is that Zephyr Heights is near Bridlewood. Second is that Izzy came by to Sunny’s lighthouse to see if she wanted to go with her to visit Zipp and Pipp. She agreed, they got ready, and they headed out… . And as for the third reason… . It’s that the Pegasus city is a little far from Sunny’s hometown; hence why they’re going through Bridlewood as a shortcut.
Also; what makes this trip of theirs interesting is because of two things… . The first is that they went to Zephyr Heights to visit Zipp and Pipp for some spa time, and to possibly beat Zipp in a bet; as it is rather known to the Royal Pegasus family that she is rather notorious for never ever losing a bet at anything; not even once… . And because of that; Zipp’s new pals: Sunny and Izzy; have decided to beat Zipp in a bet somehow because they perceived that as a challenge… . And also that Zipp sent a letter to Izzy personally so they could have some fun, and such.
Unfortunately; it didn’t work out so well as Sunny came up with a bet that she didn’t know that Zipp could do… . The bet was that Sunny couldn’t think that Zipp would never be able to fly in a loop, and land whilst spinning in the air; while also trying not to barf or pass out from being dizzy. To make this short; Zipp won, Sunny lost, and because Izzy has betted against Zipp too; that also meant that she lost, and has to face the same punishment as Sunny would go through… .
And as you might’ve guessed already; the punishment is that they had to wear diapers for an entire month… . And so with that; Sunny and Izzy are off to Sunny’s home, and then waved their pals goodbye whilst trying not to pay attention to their embarrassing predicament… .
Now; on with the rest of the story… .
Sunny and Izzy are almost to the edge of Sunny’s hometown; when suddenly Sunny looked at her diaper, whined, and then said; “I cannot believe that I just lost a bet to her… . I’ve never lost a bet before… ; not even once.”
Izzy however didn’t mind one bit; (since she’s after all carefree and positive), and then replies; “oh it’s not so bad… . Once you get past the first couple of days; you’d barely even notice that it was there at all. And sooner than you know it; poof! It’ll be like that the month had never happened… .
Sunny unfortunately didn’t take that into consideration, and then just whined a little more while saying; “but you don’t know what it’s like to have this around you… . I mean; sure that it’s gonna be for a month or so… . And yeah I’ve been through worse… . But then again; it’s embarrassing… .”
Izzy just chuckled to herself, and started petting Sunny’s back while saying; “aw it’s fine… . Trust me! I’ve been through this before, and it wasn’t so bad… at first.”
Sunny got a bit curious, and then asked; “you have… ? How?”
Izzy gave a slight embarrassed chuckle before saying; “you see… . I had that happen to me too due to me also losing a bet to somepony… .”
Sunny then asked; “oh really? Who?”
Izzy then gave a small, but cute pout and then says; “Alphabittle… .”
Sunny then realized who she was talking about, chuckled, and then says; “oh yeah, hah. I never knew that he’s still doing that… .”
Izzy then grumbled a little, and said; “it’s not that funny… .”
Sunny chuckled again, pauses, and then says; “oh it’s fine… . Besides…” Sunny continued while helping Izzy up since she was pouting; “you however got it easy… . As for me…” she pauses again, and then says; “I got this type of loss for the first time. And… I don’t like it… .” Sunny then sat down, and looked defeated.
Not wanting the gloomy atmosphere to linger any longer; Izzy began to perk up, and then says; “well; look on the bright side… . At least I’m in this with you; right?”
Sunny chuckled slightly, and then says; “maybe…” but looks down with ears down, and then continues; “but it still won’t make me feel better… .”
Izzy felt like that she was gonna give up into cheering up Sunny… but then suddenly had an idea, and then asks; “hey Sunny; are you ticklish?”
Pausing; Sunny looked to Izzy; feeling slightly hesitant about her friend’s question, and then says; “yeah… ? Why do you ask?”
Izzy giggled slightly, and then says; “so I can do this!” She then promptly grabbed Sunny, and then laid her down on the ground. But before Sunny could say something back to her about what she was doing to her; Izzy then promptly took a deep breath, and then blew on Sunny’s belly; causing the once gloomy earth pony to giggle and laugh because it felt ticklish.
“What’re you doing Izzy? Stop that! Hahaha!” Sunny said as she’s being tickled by Izzy’s raspberrying her on her belly.
This went on for a couple more minutes; before Izzy then decided that enough was enough, and then stopped blowing on Sunny’s belly. Sunny then got up; albeit still laughing slightly from recovering from her friend’s tactic to make her feel better, and then asks; “what was that for? Haha.”
Izzy then smiled, giggled, and then says; “so I can make you feel less gloomy about having to wear these as a punishment for losing the bet! Did it work?”
Sunny chuckled a little more; (still recovering), and then says; “yeah, heh. I think so… . Thanks.”
Izzy beamed with pride, and then says; “no problem!” before going ahead of Sunny to walk to the lighthouse.
But before Izzy could continue; Sunny stopped her by putting a hoof on her back before saying; “hey now… . We can’t just let this slide; you need to experience what that felt like too; okay?”
Izzy then chuckled a little nervously, then says; “oh dear… .” Sunny then proceeded to pick her up, spin her around, and then laid her on the ground too before giving her a raspberry too; causing Izzy to laugh in hysterics because she was even more ticklish than Sunny.
Soon though; Izzy then says; “okay okay; I yield; haha! There’s no need to do that again! I’m sorry! Hahaha!” Sunny then promptly stopped, and stood up so Izzy can recover too. Izzy giggles slightly, and then says; “thank you… ; I needed that smile back.”
Sunny chuckled, and then says; “no problem… “ before smiling also.
After a few minutes; Sunny cleared her throat before saying; “wanna have a race back to my house? Loser has to sleep on the couch.”
Izzy chuckled, and then says with a determined look; “you’re on!”
Sunny looked determined too, and then says; “let’s do this… “ before getting to her position beside Izzy to race her back to the lighthouse. With no time to spare; Sunny then counted down; “on your marks, get set, go!”
And with that; Izzy and Sunny raced each other to the lighthouse, and are having fun doing so.
