"Hey gem why the long face everyone's happy and together again", then prism followed gemstone's gaze "oh cherry she'll come around just don't force it gem", prism said patting her best friend on the shoulder.
*in the pie family home the tri-pies were having a similar conversation*
"Look sis you can't be mad at her forever you forgave prism and you still love her and I know love trust me", Raspberry said looking through her sister's drawer.
"I know, I know but everytime I see her all I see is her stomping on my heart and asking another mare to be her marefriend I mean she hasn't even apologized yet but she wants my love well she has to earn it", cherry said coming her mane until her sister handed her a swan pendant and cherry looked both her sister's in the eyes.
She took the pendant and put it on "ok let's go girls", cherry said with a determined look.
When the cmc arrived at the gala they saw a hippogriff practically smothering silverwing who they assumed was his younger cousin shooting star which it was and he kept trying to break away when his friends showed up.
"Hey everybody, you must be the friends blueberry talked about since silvy doesn't like talking about it that much wait is that chocolate rain gosh the surface is cool I'll go check that byeeeee", shooting star said chasing the cotton candy cloud.
"So "silvy" how's your night ?", kicks asked laughing only to earn a glare from silverwing which made him go quiet. As the cmc went into the gala to enjoy their night gemstone walked around looking for cherry who she bumped into in the hallways.
"Oh... Um cherry hello didn't know you were here may I ask why ?", gemstone said hesitantly scared of her answer
"You don't get it do you gem I cried for a month and hated my friends for a month because of you I still like you but you can't even apologize to me for making me cry but what hurts the worst is that you won't give me time look I'm gonna go help my mom and I'll think about giving you a dance if I'm in a good mood", cherry said scowling at gemstone before walking away not even looking back at gemstone which broke her and made her go to the rest of the gala not knowing her sister jewel saw everything.
