Twilight again interrupted the flashback by saying, "So this is why you go as princesses rather than queens."

Celestia's response came as, "We never wanted to feel like tyrants in the way Sombra was, so we felt that by being princesses everyone would feel more comfortable with us."

As the flashback resumed once more, the newly crowned Royal Sisters decided it was time to give Ponyland a clean slate by renaming it Equestria. They even had a new castle built for them in Everfree Forest after being drawn to the Tree of Harmony. Despite being happy about being the new rulers, they thought intensely about what to do with anything that reminded them of Ponyland. They still had the book that chronicled the time when Megan came there.

“What should I do with this book?”Celestia asked. “Besides her naming us, this is pretty much all that we have left of Megan Williams. Who knows if we'll ever get to see her again? Part of me wants to get rid of it and start over, but another part me feels that it would be wrong to do it."

Luna then said, "How about instead of getting rid of the book, it will just be hidden somewhere special instead?"

"Alright Luna, but I'm only doing this because I enjoyed reading about what she did when she was here." said Celestia.

Celestia's enjoyment of Megan made her more interested in humans altogether and understanding more about their nature. However, she found out things that she wasn't too happy about. When she read about how humans were known for coming to other lands and conquering them for their own, she started to have fears that Equestria could be one of those lands. If anyone knew about it, the kind of weapons that they had might help them conquer Equestria if needed.

Out of fear, Celestia contemplated and asked Luna, "Do you ever think that if other humans knew about our world, they might actually want to try and conquer it?"

"What exactly would they gain by doing that?" Luna asked

Celestia responded, "If they had the ability to conquer tribes inferior to them within their own world, just imagine what they could do here."

"Tia, you're overreacting. I highly doubt that any other humans back on Earth even know about this world besides Megan Williams and her siblings. So I don't see any reason to panic about this."

For some reason, Sombra enters the castle and starts mentioning, "Maybe we won't have to fear any human invasion of Equestria if we invade them first.”

The sisters look at Sombra with concern.

“Think about it. By doing so, we can show them who the real conquerors are. More importantly, we can finally have that traitor Megan Williams imprisoned for leaving all of what was left of Ponyland to be destroyed by Grogar."

Celestia did not take this idea too kindly.

"You will do no such thing! If we did this, we’d be no better than those trying to conquer us. More importantly, if you or anyone who follows you does anything to hurt, kill, or capture Megan Williams, you will have to answer to me and Luna! You will not do it! I will make sure you won't! I’m placing a special barrier that won't just stop you from going there, but it will also make the Rainbow Bridge invisible so that you can't get to her. No other invading armies will have a way of getting in from the other side either."

Celestia recited the spell and a barrier between Earth and Equestria was made. The Rainbow Bridge became invisible to those from either side.

Matters got worse when Queen Rosedust came to complain. "Flutter Valley hasn't been the same after Grogar's army destroyed it and you two are doing next to nothing in helping us in restoring it!"

"We haven't forgotten about you. We just have a lot of things on our hooves ever since becoming the rulers of Equestria." replied Celestia calmly.

Rosedust then said, "Maybe if I became an alicorn like you and your sister, I wouldn't be in such a problem. It seems to have helped you stop Sombra and his oppression on the other unicorns."

"Even if you could be become an alicorn, it wouldn't change who you are inside. You will still be the same pony you always are. If you think it will give you miracles, you are sadly mistaken. As for Sombra, we didn't need to become alicorns to stop him. We just needed to finally take a stance against him, alicorns or not." Luna explained.

After hearing what Luna said, Rosedust was not too pleased.

"Maybe Sombra was right. Maybe Megan Williams is a traitor and a thief for keeping the Rainbow of Light, which never belonged to her in the first place"

"Take that back!” Celestia shouted. “She is no traitor to anyone! As for the Rainbow of Light, she never stole it, that locket was given to her by the Moochick himself! He even declared her its very keeper. In other words, she's allowed to have it whether you approve of this or not. Also, no pony would even be able to use that locket due to the fact that it was made specifically for a human like her to do so."

Rosedust then cried, "She still owes me for when I had to help her stop the Smooze from covering all of Ponyland!"

"Why does she owe you for that?” Celestia asked. “If you really did care, you would have stopped the Smooze and the witches whether she came to you or not. Let's not forget that she saved Flutter Valley from the Bees that the witches tried to use against you, so in a way, she did repay her debt to you."

Rosedust then left the castle in anger, feeling that she couldn't get any help from the Royal Sisters.

After those events, Luna asked, "Will we ever get to see Megan Williams again?”

"I hope one day our paths will cross again with her” Celestia responded. “But until then, we'll have to learn to move on without her."

The flashback ended and both Megan and Twilight had to really think about what happened.

"So this is why, for awhile, I had no way to get back here." Megan remarked.

“Yes.” Celestia said. "If not for the barrier, Sombra would have lead an army of pegasi to come and get you, and I couldn't just let that happen."

"I can see why that was done” Megan said. “But I don't seem to understand why it was only removed recently. I mean, why wait a thousand years?" Megan asked.

Luna then answered, "In all honesty, we did want to allow for you return sooner. But that didn't happen due to having so many duties and tasks to help with our kingdom. I'm sorry that it felt as if we forgot about you."

Megan then said, "I can understand why that was the case until now, so I will forgive you for that."

Celestia feeling pleased said, "Now, you're always welcomed to come here any time! I never once believed anything Sombra had to say about you."

Twilight then added, "What matters more is that you’re here now and we’re all glad to see you again."

"What did happen to Rosedust?" Megan asked.

Celestia answered, "Until the wedding between Cadence and Shinning Armor, we hadn't heard from her nor had we even seen her again. When it turned out that Cadence wasn't actually there, I was shocked to see that it was really Queen Chrysalis taking her form. She even took a cheap shot at me. At first I didn't notice it, but when I noticed her wings were butterfly wings, I figured out it was her. I couldn't even understand why she wanted to become that way. She was already mad at me for still using her original name. She shouted back at me claiming that she no longer goes by Rosedust anymore ever since she became a changeling."

Megan then said, "I'm not understanding what you mean by this."

Luna explained, "It was found out that Rosedust found some more of Niblick's magic coins that would allow her to make such a wish. Our guess is that she wanted everything my sister and I had. What she didn't know is that her wish came with a cost and couldn't be reversed especially since that troll was no longer around.  Since then, she was never the same again. The wish wasn't just for her either, but also the rest of the Flutter Ponies as well. They also became changelings along with her.”

After hearing that, Megan said, "At least now I know all about what you both did in your early lives!  Also, on how you became alicorns."

Luna concluded, "I hope you enjoyed this tea party, because now it's time for us to go back home."

Megan waved good-bye to the Royal Sisters as Twilight flew her back home.
