The cave was dusty and dark, coldness filled the air. Twilight, Luna, Celestia and Cadence were visibly beaten up, bruised, messy and chained to the ground by shackles on their hooves, their magic was also drained. Twilight’s element of harmony, magic, was in its crown just out of hoove’s reach.
The rest of the Main Six were no where to be seen, they were less deep in the cave trying to find their way to the princesses. In front of them was a large dark quadriple figure with claws, possibly a giant dragon.
“I-I’m sorry... I failed everypony” Twilight sobbed.
Celestia sighed, she put a wing around her former student trying to calm her down.
“No Twilight... there’s nothing we could have done... we did what we could...” Celestia let tears fall from her eyes.
All four of them knew what was about to come, this blast was going to end them. Luna put her muzzle on her sister’s wing and sobbed hard, Cadence hugged Twilight the best she could with the chains and shackles around her. The blast in the mouth of the dragon got bigger and brighter.
Tears poured from their eyes as they watched the incoming blast, only to see a silhouette jump out in front of them after shouting.
“No!”.
The blast hit them instead sending them flying to the wall behind the princesses, the Main Six ran towards them, the elements on their necks. Twilight grabbed her crown and put it on, all the elements glowed lighting up the room in a rainbow glow and it lifted the ponies up.
A rainbow blast violently hit the beast making it vanish into nothing, the Main Six proudly landed back onto the the stones ground, the princesse’s shackles were broken and magic restored. Twilight smiled as she looked at her friend.
Twilight looked around for whoever sacrificed themselves, deep inside she hoped that they didn’t die “This war wouldn’t have ended like this if it wasn’t for”
