//------------------------------// // Their Brutal Kind-Hearted Saviors 1 // Story: The Transfers And Canterlot High - Equestria Games Rewritten, Book 1 // by TheGathering //------------------------------// It was hard to explain why the girls that Cato, Cameron, Urchin, and Marvel had saved in the cafeteria had stuck around after school, as the four came out of their last class and then split up to find their lockers. Nevertheless, when each boy came to their locker, they were stunned to find themselves being hugged by the same girls they had saved. Cato, Marvel, and Urchin instantly gave them pets and hugs in return, while Cameron briefly hesitated for a moment before he did the same. Each of the boys took a moment to study the girls hugging them. Cato and Cameron, at least, had something in common: their old friend Clove, who was holding both their hands and smiling, as if it was the first time she ever smiled. For Urchin, he was being hugged by his old friend Rue, a lovely orange and yellow haired girl taller and slightly older than him, and a tall blonde haired girl. For Marvel, he had to deal with his old friends Glimmer and Foxface, as well as a blonde and blue haired girl and a brunette with a potato sticking out of her mouth. Cato, compared to his brother, had things easy. He only had to deal with his and Cameron’s old friend Clove, a tall blonde with an attitude, and a blonde in a cowboy hat that clung to his other arm. Cameron, however, was another story. Much to his dismay, the poor boy had to deal with not only Clove holding onto his hand, but also his and Cato’s old friends Amber, Marina, Lacey, and Juilet; a tall redhead in a ear muffin hat and a green lined shirt; a short black haired girl with twin pigtails; a purple haired girl with what sounded like a British accent, a blue haired girl and a shy pink haired girl; a brunette girl with a flower on her dress, a tall blonde wearing sunglasses, another brunette in purple with a skull on her shirt, and a shirt brunette wearing sports gear with a number one on her jersey. All told, it was starting to get very hard for Cameron to breathe. Cato noticed, and he spoke up. “I think you girls may want to get off my adopted younger brother before he suffocates” he said, causing the girls to get off of him, before the girls that are not his and Cameron’s old friends all squeal in delight. “Eeee! He’s your adopted younger brother?” “Oh my god, with those scars on his arms.. uuuunnhh, he is so cute!” “He’s the cutest boy I’ve ever seen!” “For realsies, he is so so cute!” Cameron was turning redder than a tomato, he was blushing so hard. After a while though, Cato had to noogie Cameron on the head to get him back to normal. “Hey!” he whined. “What was that for?” “You were looking like a lovesick puppy blasting off into space, bro” Cato replied. “Now come on.” Cato walks away, followed by the girls, and Cameron hesitates for three seconds trying to think about what the heck just happened before he finally follows after them. “Hey! Wait up!” ——————————————————————— Cameron sat up in his bed back in his and Cato’s room that night, staring up at the ceiling. Aside from being reunited with some of Cato and his’ childhood friends, he had met a lot of other girls too, some of them who seemed to be interested in his older brother and their friends. Mina Carolina. The Sisters Lynn Jr., Leni, Lori, Luna, and Luan Loud. Adagio Dazzle. Sonata Dusk. Sasha Braus. Carol Pingray. Sam Sharp. Wendy Corduroy. Rarity. Fluttershy. Applejack. He smiled at the ceiling. Even though tomorrow the four of them would begin their mission of making the girls’ and Canterlot High’s lives better by ending the bullies’ reign, for now, he took comfort in the fact that due to a cry for help, he became a shining light for others.
