Jungle - Tomb Of The Dragon
As Applejack and her friends continue down yet another bridge, they all saw a Rabbid running around in circles on a nearby ledge with a plunder stuck to his face while carrying a bow.
"If I had to guess, this poor fellow wanted to practice archery by shooting an apple off someone's head, but couldn't find any volunteers." Beep-0 explained to the others while pointing his ear to an apple that was resting on the ground near the Rabbid.
"Must've gotten desperate and tried shooting one off his own head." Applejack proposed while snickering a little, imagining how that might've looked.
The group left the Rabbid, who stopped and tried to pull the plunger off his face with zero results before running in circles again, and made their way to the next battlefield, which wasn't too far away, and 3 more Idols opened up, but while there were 2 more Idols of Recoil, there was another that looked similar but was glowing red instead of green and had fire burning at the top.
"Wait a second, now there are THREE Idols?" Beep-0 asked as he took notice of Idols, while also keeping an eye on the new one. "A fiery one too? No fair!"
"That one looks kinda like a mash-up of those Idols and Burpers." Applejack pointed out.
"You're right, so it must behave like the Idols by moving towards their target, but burn them like the Burpers, so it won't matter where you're standing as long as you're in range of this new Idol's movement."
Rabbid Granny grasped her walking stick as soon as she heard this, clearly not wanting it to catch on fire again.
"Once again we must take care of all the enemies on the battlefield - then the invulnerable Idols will let us go!"
The heroes nodded as they took their places on the battlefield.
Defeat All - 6 Hoppers, 3 Smashers (Obstacles: 2 Idols of Recoil, 1 Idol of Fire)
Applejack scooped up Rabbid Granny, then moved to a spot in the middle of the battlefield that was right next to the Idol of Fire. She then bucked Rabbid Granny over the a spot on the left side of the battlefield, where she Freeze Blasted a Smasher.
Rabbid Rarity dashed 2 Smashers, then entered a pipe on the right side of the battlefield that led to the upper area, where she then dashed 2 Hoppers before stopping beside the pipe, using it as a full cover.
Applejack took out her banjo and activated her Magnet Groove, drawing 2 Smashers and 4 Hoppers, with one of them taking a minute to reach her, that were in range of her music towards her. She then used her Buck Slam, which triggered a Bounce Effect that sent them all flying in different directions, defeating all the enemies but one Smasher, which began charging in her direction before stopping to rest.
Rabbid Rarity sent a Sentry towards the Smasher, which exploded when it got in range, and triggered a Push Effect, which sent the enemy Rabbid rolling out of the battlefield, defeating him. She then activated her Shield.
Rabbid Granny launched a Barrel Bolt towards a Hopper located on the left side of the battefield, which exploded and damaged him. She then dashed him and entered a pipe that was similar to the one on the right side, and ended up in the upper area, where she stopped by a partial cover and activated her Stink Eye.
Since Applejack was right next to it, the Idol of Fire took no time and attacked Applejack by spinning an shooting fire, causing a Burn Effect that sent the orange pony running.
The Idols of Recoil began to move towards the heroes that were in range of each of them, which were Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny respectively, while also striking the remaining Hoppers in the process, triggering a Bounce Effect that sent them flying and defeating them both when they landed.
The Smasher began to charge towards Rabbid Granny, but was hit twice by her Stink Eye, defeating him and ending the battle.
All 3 Idols glowed and then shut, allowing the heroes to move on once again.
The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 1550 apples and 3 Runes.
"Odd how there were 3 Idols this time." Beep-0 as he looked back at the deactivated Idols on the battlefield. "I wonder why they've stepped up their game."
"Bwa-Bwa Bwah!" Rabbid Granny shouted as she pointed her walking stick towards the path.
Everyone looked down at the path and saw a barrel cannon at the very end of it, and out in the distance, they can all see the opening of the cave.
"Looks like we've found our exit!" Applejack cheered.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity cheered as she joined her friend.
"Let's not celebrate yet." Beep-0 told the group. "My sensors indicate that there is danger up ahead, so I recommend that you all upgrade your weapons and Skill Trees so you're ready to face whatever's out there."
Knowing where there robot friend was coming from, the heroes nodded as Beep-0 opened the Battle HQ, and used their remaining apples to upgrade their weapons, making them stronger and more durable.
Applejack used her remaining Runes to increase her health and the decrease the number of turns it takes for her Hero Sight to recharge.
Rabbid Rarity used her remaining Runes to increase her health and decrease the number of turns it takes for her Shield to recharge.
Rabbid Granny used her remaining Runes to increase her health and decrease the number of turns it takes for her Long Story to recharge.
"Ok, is everypony ready to get out of this hole and return to the surface?" Beep-0 asked.
"Yep!" Applejack answered with pride.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny answered, ready for anything.
"Then let's get a move on!" Beep-0 said as he and the others entered the barrel cannon, and were shot through the exit.
