Turquoise and Fluttershy were on the road to Goldenrod City where Turquoise’s next gym battle and Contest was. As they were walking they noticed a rock with a certain fox-like Pokemon Turquoise was all too familiar with curled up on top of it.

“ Why would an Eevee be resting in the middle of the path like that?” Fluttershy asked.

“ I don’t know but I’m catching it,” Turquoise declared which woke the Eevee up. The girls noticed that this Eevee was acting very defensive as if it didn’t want to leave the rock. Turquoise threw a Pokeball at him and managed to capture him. After the first shake, the Eevee broke free and the Pokeball was sent back to Turquoise who caught it.

“ Don’t you think you should battle it first?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Your right I got so excited I almost forgot,” Turquoise said before calling out her Espeon. “ Espeon use Swift. Espeon unleashed her Swift which Eevee managed to dodge before unleashing Shadow ball which impressed Turquoise. “ You already know shadow ball that’s impressive. Espeon dodged it and before Turquoise could give another command the Eevee passed out as if he was out of energy.

“ Stop the battle,” Fluttershy demanded.

“ Espeon, stand down,” Turquoise said before Espeon obeyed. As soon as she did Fluttershy decided to give an examination of Eevee. After some time Fluttershy gave her verdict.

“ This poor thing has been famished for days,” Fluttershy said.

“ Why wouldn’t he try finding his own food in the wild?” Turquoise asked.

“ My guess this Eevee must belong to someone and it must be waiting for that someone,” Fluttershy said.

“ That can,t be the case, If he belonged to another Trainer my Pokeball wouldn’t have been able to contain him for even a second,” Turquoise said before trying to give the Eevee some of her special Pokemon Food only for Eevee to refuse. “ Please eat something little guy if you don’t you are going to perish from starvation. Suddenly a light rain began to pour and Fluttershy and Turquoise ran for the Pokemon center while leaving the bowl of pokemon food behind. As soon as they got there the rain began a powerful downpour.

“ Do you think that Eevee will be ok out there?” Fluttershy asked.

“ I hope so,” Turquoise said. As they were talking A boy with white skin, black hair, and red eyes wearing a black shirt with matching pants and a red scarf was surrounded by a few other trainers showing off his collection of Pokemon.

“ Pretty neat arsenal you got Magnus,” One of the trainers said.

“ Won me my first two Gym Battles no problem they sure did,” Magnus said.

“ I thought you also had an Eevee?” Another trainer asked.

“ I did but that worthless thing could not win a single match and even after I wasted my time using the TR for Shadow Ball on it,” Magnus said. 

“ So what did you do with that worthless Eevee Magnus?” One of the trainers asked which really sparked some anger in Fluttershy.

“ That annoying wimp? I left him on a rock on the way here by telling him I would return for him, I bet he is still waiting,” Magnus said while laughing his head off along with the trainers around him. Fluttershy could not stand it anymore and suddenly looked ready to kill someone. She stomped over to Magnus and grabbed him by his collar.

“ Get out there and find him,” Fluttershy shouted.

“ What?” Magnus asked.

“ That Eevee that is still waiting for you Go find him now,” Fluttershy demanded.

“ Why should I?” Magnus asked.

“ You not only lied to him and left him there with no food now he is on the verge of starvation, If that Eevee dies it’s going to be on your head,” Fluttershy shouted before Magnus slapped her onto the ground very hard.

“ What I do with my Pokemon is none of your business,” Magnus shouted not realizing all the other patrons in the Pokemon Center saw what just happened.

“ Leaving one of your Pokemon to die is one thing but striking a girl like that, Now you leave me no choice but to beat some manners into you,” Turquoise said before having Espeon at the ready. Suddenly Magnus grabbed one of his five Pokeballs.

“ If it’s a fight you want then bring it girly,” Magnus said. Before things could escalate Nurse Joy showed up to put a stop to it.

“ All right break it up, You all know the rules no using Pokemon for personal fights, it’s disgraceful,” Nurse Joy demanded before everyone dispersed.

“ We will settle this later you jerk but right now I’m going to find that Eevee before it’s too late,” Turquoise said before running off into the raging storm along with her Espeon.

 “ Is that chick crazy she will never make it back alive,” Magnus said only to receive a punch to the face from another Trainer they were not expecting to see in Johto.

“ That there was for hurting one of mah friends,” A familiar country accent said.

“ Applejack? What are you doing here?” Fluttershy said.

“ I’m just here to help Sunset with some Field Research,” Applejack said.

“ Turquoise and I are traveling together, You should join us,” Fluttershy said.

“ Mighty kind of you but I can’t after we are done here I’m going to Sinnoh to see Rarity,” Applejack said.





Meanwhile, out in the storm, Turquoise and Espeon were running as fast as they could despite the danger. As soon as they reached the rock they saw Eevee being badly beaten by a trio of Houndour. Espeon unleashed Swift on them and it scared them away. After seeing the state Eevee was in Turquoise removed her jacket and wrapped Eevee in it before braving the storm back to the Pokemon Center. After fighting heavy winds and downpours Turquoise managed to make it back.

“ Nurse Joy this Eevee is in critical Condition,” Turquoise said before collapsing.

“ There is not much time,” Nurse joy said before taking Eevee into the ER right away. As for Turquoise, She was now resting in the lobby. A little bit later she woke up and noticed Fluttershy was not around. After looking around she found her pacing outside a closed door with a lit sign above it.

“ There you are,” Turquoise said.

“ How are you feeling?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Not 100% but I’m up and moving again,” Turquoise said.

“ That’s good to hear,” Applejack said which surprised Turquoise.

“ I know I had the same reaction,” Fluttershy said. “ But anyway Eevee is currently in the ER and we are waiting to see if Nurse Joy can save him.

“ How did Eevee end up like that if you don’t mind me asking?” Applejack said.

“ Eevee was attacked by a trio of Houndour while trying to eat the food I left for him, I feel this was all my fault,” Turquoise said.

“ You have nothing to feel sorry for you only wanted to help,” Fluttershy said. Suddenly the light over the doors dimmed and Nurse Joy came out while looking happy.

“ Eevee is going to be just fine after a night’s rest,” Nurse Joy said.

“ That;’s the spirit Eevee hang in there,” Turquoise said to herself.





The next day the storm passed and it was nothing but clear and sunny skies. As soon as the girls woke up they noticed Eevee was not in the Pokemon center anymore.

“ Where did Eevee go?” Fluttershy asked.

“ Maybe back to the woods?” Applejack guessed.

“ I think I might know where,” Turquoise said thinking Eevee went back to that rock to wait for Magnus.





With Eevee, he was running as fast as he could now that he got his strength back and is back to full health. As he was running he heard a voice that sounded like Magmus talking.

“ I’m so glad I ditched that worthless Eevee it’s so boring raising a wimp like that,” Magnus said which really hurt Eevee. Eevee kept going towards the rock in despair. As he was walking he ran into a very familiar trio of villains who just trapped a bunch of Aipom in a steel net.

“ Hey look Chris it’s an Eevee,” Isabelle said.

“ Let’s catch that too,” Chris said.

“ Eevee Vee,” Eevee shouted.

“ Let them go? why should we?” Meowth asked. Before Team Supernova could react Eevee unleashed Quick Attack on Meowth which sent him flying into Isabelle and Chris who were sent flying through the forest until all that was left was a twinkle in the distance. Little did Eevee know Magnus was watching from a distance.

“ Did Eevee just beat them?” Magnus asked in disbelief as Eevee set the Aipom free and kept going back to his rock. Sometime later Turquoise and Fluttershy managed to catch up to Eevee who looked sad.

“ Found you,” Turquoise said before Fluttershy chimed in.

“ I’m guessing you discovered the horrible truth about Magnus as well?” Fluttershy asked. Just as she mentioned him Magmus showed up.

“ And what do you want now?” Turquoise demanded.

“ I’m here to take back my Eevee as I promised,” Magnus said.

“ Do not try to deceive us we heard your intentions already and so has Eevee,” Fluttershy said.

“ That was before I saw Eevee take down a trio of villains with a single Quick Attack,” Magnus said.

“ Well we are not giving him to you so why don’t you just shove off,” Turquoise said while pounding her fists together.

“ Then I’ll just take him back by force,” Magnus said before throwing out five Pokemon which consisted of a Charizard, Machamp, Staraptor, Electavire, and a Magmortar but what was most noticeable was all the machinery they were equipped with which really made Turquoise mad.

“ I knew you were nothing but a big jerk but now I see you are not even a pokemon trainer, A real trainer would believe in the natural strength of their pokemon instead of outfitting them with fancy technology that mods the heck out of them,” Sunset said as she and Applejack arrived.

“ And what would a bunch of girls know about battles?” Magnus asked.

“ Plenty, Bertha of Sinnoh’s Elite Four said the same thing to a bunch of thugs who did the same thing,” Sunset said.

“ Shall we Demonstrate?” Applejack asked.

“ I’m ready,” Turquoise said with her Espeon out and raring to go.

“ So am I,” Fluttershy said before calling out Cinderace.

“ Me Too,” Sunset said with her Tyranitar out.

“ Alright then, Go Boltund,” Applejack said as she called out her Boltund. All of their pokemon managed to destroy the machines equipped with Magnus’s Pokemon which caused them to explode and knock them out.

“ That’s cheating,” Magnus complained.

“ No, using machines to amp up your Pokemon’s power is cheating,” Turquoise said.

“ Don’t waste your breath with this worthless excuse for a trainer,” Applejack said before taking Magnus’s gym badges and after crushing them beneath her boot caused them to get dented. “ Surprise Surprise these badges are also fake.

“ And how would you know?” Magnus asked.

“ Because my father was an assistant blacksmith to the man who makes the gym badges for the Kanto Region and he told me how the metal is tempered to the point where even the foot of Groudon could not bend it a single millimeter,” Turquoise said.

“ I had just about enough of you chicks that Eevee is mine and if you won’t get out of my way then I’m just going to kill all of you,” Magnus said before the sudden sound of a whistle was heard and a Growlithe ran in front of him.

“ Magnus Gilded you are under arrest for multiple counts of assault and various violations of the rules set by the Pokemon League,” Officer Jenny said while slapping the cuffs on Magnus.

“ Officer Jenny? Where did you come from?” Turquoise asked.

“ Nurse joy called and reported Magnus here for hurting Fluttershy and for modding his team with technology from Team Supernova,” Officer Jenny said.

“ Don’t forget to add forgery to his list of offenses,” Applejack said while showing Jenny the evidence which was the damaged state of Magnus’s Gym Badges.

“ Is that so well young man this is officially the end of your journey,” Jenny said before dragging Magnus back to the Pokemon Center where he would be transported to the prison in Cherrygrove City. Now that Magmus was gone the girls shifted their focus on Eevee who was still there and was moved by everyone’s words.

“ Why don’t you go ahead and catch him,” Fluttershy said to Turquoise.

“ Are you sure?” Turquoise asked.

“ Your the one who risked your life in a raging storm to save him and besides we all know you will raise him well,” Fluttershy said.

“ I will,” Turquoise said before pulling out a Luxury ball and throwing it into the air where Eevee leaped at it and touched it with his front paw thus sucking him inside and as the ball was falling it shook and then snapped shut before landing in Turquoise’s hand. “ I just caught an Eevee. With all the excitement now over the girls returned to the Pokemon Center for the day to rest.





The next day the girls were ready to go but not before bidding farewell to Applejack and Sunset.

“ Are you sure you don’t want to come with us Applejack?” Turquoise asked.

“ I appreciate the offer but I need to get home and get ready to set off for Sinnoh,” Applejack said.

“ Good luck to ya,” Turquoise said. As soon as both groups parted ways Turquoise and Fluttershy continued on the road to Goldenrod City.
