Star Wars Friendship: The Clone Wars

Prologue: A New Path

Alan POV

I opened my eyes to see nothing but white. Looking around, I saw that I was in some kind of void. Not to mention I was standing on something solid, but there wasn’t anything below my feet. The air around me wasn’t cold, nor was it hot. It was as if my sense of feeling was turned off.

“Alan!” I heard my big brother’s voice behind me. I turned around to see my big brother running up to me. “George! Where are we!?” I asked him in slight panic.

George had the same scared look on his face as I did. “I don’t know, last thing I remember was… oh god!” My brother gently said in shock.

I tried to remember as well when realization struck me. “George, the airplane, it…” I didn’t finish as George continued.

“There was an explosion in one of the turbines. The wing came off and we crashed.” George said with a heavy fear in his voice.

“Does... that mean we’re dead?” I asked him in fear. If that was true, then where are we? Cause I don’t think we’re in heaven or hell for that matter.

I was afraid we were just going to spend the rest of lives stuck here for eternity and my eyes started to water. My brother walked up to me, knelt down, and hugged me. “It’s alright, Alan. It’s going to be alright.” He said, comforting me.

“Indeed.” Said and ominous voice. I brother and I turned to a figure sitting on a wooden chair near us. He was a tall bearded old man around his 80s wearing a grey robe.

My brother instantly took a defensive fighting stance, ready to protect me. “Who are you?” George demanded. We didn’t know who this man was. Whether or not he meant us harm.

The old man laughed softly and stood up from his chair, which vanished instantly. “I suppose you could call me a watcher of sorts. An agent of the afterlife if you will.” He told us cryptically.

Neither my brother nor I relaxed from what he said. “Alright, ‘Watcher.’ What do you want?” My brother asked, narrowing his eyebrow.

Well, as you two may have guessed. Both of you have perished in that airplane accident. As for where we are. You could call this a world between worlds. Where the souls that have passed on travel through here toward the afterlife.” Watcher explained to us. “As for what I want.” He cleared his throat. “You two have won the lucky Multiverse Afterlife Lottery! Where you could chose to reincarnate in a universe of your choosing!” He said with enthusiasm.

Both of us blinked a couple of times before I responded. “Wait? Your saying we can live again?” I asked Watcher, wondering if he was serious or not.

The old man nodded. “That’s correct, young man. As for being reincarnated in a universe. We’ve created a system to help simplify it for new comers.” Watcher told us as a text appeared in front of us.

Based on your previous lives, we have narrowed down some universes where you may consider living your new lives.

Halo

DC

My Little Pony

Marvel

Star Wars

Gears of War

Mass Effect

RWBY

Call of Duty

Stargate

Pacific Rim

Other - Please input Universe Name

“Wait, these are shows and video games. They aren’t real.” George pointed out to him.

In your world, that’s true. But they do exist in the multiverse. Your reality could glance into other realities. Or at least versions of them. If these universes don’t interest you, you could add a universe at the bottom the list.” Watcher explained to us.

George lowered his guard a bit and looked at the list. “Well, I’ve always wondered what it would be like in the Star Wars Universe.” He considered. I nodded in agreement, we both grew up watching Star Wars and fell in love with the series. Even so, there is one Universe I was more interested in living in.

I moved to my brother’s side. “But wouldn’t the My Little Pony Universe be less dangerous than the Star Wars one.” I asked him. Don’t get me wrong, I’m as much of a Star Wars fan as the next guy, but I’ve been a MLP fan for years since I watched the first few episodes. It’s what help me be a better person in general. George wasn’t into it a first, but he later on became a fan of it as well. My brother thought for a moment, considering which of the universe to pick.

If it helps. You add certain aspects to the universe you pick.” Watcher told us.

“What do you mean?” George asked. I wondered the same thing.

Well, when you choose a universe. You could choose a specific number of aspects from other Universes. For example, if you chose the Star Wars Universe, then you'll be taken to a page asking if you want features from other Universes. Say, the world of My Little Pony. And as a bonus, we'll add another two aspect options for you two since both of you will be reincarnated in the same universe.” Watcher explained to us.

George turned his head towards me. “What do you say, Alan? Sounds good to you?”
I nodded my head yes. It’ll be interesting what the world of MLP will be like in Star Wars. Still, I wondered how this will affect the future events.

Though I must warn you. For an aspect like the MLP world, it’ll be altered to fit into the Star Wars Universe. As such, the pony and other creature of said world will be turned into anthro versions of themselves. As well as some other changes. Not only that, magic will be replaced with the force.” Watcher told us. If I recall correctly, anthro means humanoid animals. Which the characters will become somewhere between half human and half animal.

“I’m fine with that.” I replied.

But before you choose a aspect. You need to know the catch.” Watcher told us. Bothe my brother and I looked at each other with our eye brows raised.

“What kind of catch?” My brother said in all seriousness.
Watcher paused for a moment. “Neither of you will be able to remember the future events of the Star Wars Universe.” He said, dropping the bomb on us.

Both my brother and I looked at him in shock. “WHAT!” We said out loud.

Now before you two say anything. It’s to make sure the individuals don’t have too much power in the Universe. And knowing the future is quite a bit of power. Besides, adding an aspect from another Universe, no matter how small, can alter future events.” Watcher explained to us. He does have a point. Power has a chance to corrupt an individual if he has too much of it.

Before either of us could ask him something else, his attention seemed to have been drawn elsewhere. “I’m sorry, but I’m needed for a meeting. Just continue the system step by step, and you two will be well on your way to being reincarnated.” Watcher told us before disappearing.

My brother an I looked at each other. “Well, Alan. What do you want to do?” George asked me. I thought for a moment which would be more beneficial. The future knowledge, or the aspects. While our future knowledge of the events would let us stay on step ahead. That doesn’t guarantee it’ll help us in the long run. Especially if we drastically change something. That, and I really want to see what Equestria is like.
“I think we should choose some aspects. Even if we do remember everything, that doesn’t mean we’ll have the power to change anything.” I told him.

“Fair point. In that case.” George said as he tapped on the Star Wars text.

Thank you for choosing the Star Wars Universe. Please pick an era.

The High Republic

The Clone Wars

Imperial Era

Rise of the First Order

If you not interest in any of these eras, please choose other.

“How about the Clone Wars?” I asked my brother. My brother and I would spend nights together, watching the show as new episodes were released.

“Sure Alan. There are some people I’m interested in meeting during that time.” George replied before touching the Clone Wars text.

You have chosen the Clone Wars Era. You may add up to 3 Aspects from different Universe.

Please enter which aspects you’d like.

Warning: Adding any aspect will result in loss of memories for future events.
“Alright then.” George said smiling, before he tapped My Little Pony World.

My Little Pony World has been added.

Because of the many species in the show,

each species will be born on different worlds.

The species ability to use magic will be replaced with the Force

and the MLP characters will be turned into anthro versions of themselves.

Huh, I wonder what the anthro version of them will look like. Would the Unicorns and Pegasi still have wings and horns if magic is replaced with the Force. “Are there any other aspects you want, Alan?” My brother asked me, dragging me out of my thought.

“Honestly, I’m just satisfied meeting my favorite characters from My Little Pony. Or at least a version of them.” I told him smiling. I didn’t show it, but my inner brony if freaking out right now.

George looked back at the aspects list. “Okay, since we can choose one other aspect? How about technologies and characters of the UNSC from the Halo Universe.” He asked.

Halo UNSC characters and technologies have been added. Characters backgrounds will be altered to fit the Star Wars Universe.

“Fine with me.” George said, as I gave him a smirk.

I smirked at my brother’s request. “How did I know you were going to ask for something like that.” I said.

My older brother smirked back. “Because I first introduced you to Halo.” George told me before looking at the text. “For last but not least. The Atlas Corporation from the Call of Duty: Advance Warfare Universe, so I could use it to make any inventions I want.”

The Atlas Corporation has been added. This will include technologies developed by the Atlas Corporation.

Here are the aspects you’ve requested.

1. My Little Pony Characters and Worlds Pack

2. Halo Characters and Technologies

3. Call of Duty: Atlas Corporation

Tap Confirm if your satisfied with your aspect.

“Huh, kinda reminds me of downloading content for a role playing game.” George commented before tapped the floating confirm text and it changed.

Generating Universe. Please complete the steps to continue.

Step 1: Please enter your character names.

George and I thought if whether or not we should keep our old names or not. Well, since we’re starting new lives, we might as well choose new names. “How about Aegis?” I said.

My brother looked at me with a raised eyebrow. “You mean your pony persona?” He asked. I simply nodded, smiling. “Okay then. My name will be Leonidas. Or Leo for short.” He said.

It was my turn to raise an eyebrow. “You mean the great Spartan King?” I asked.

“Yep, he was one of the most inspiring warriors to me.” George responded.

The names you have chosen are

Aegis

Leonidas

Are these Correct?

“Yes.” My brother and I said.

Names set.

Step 2: Select Race.

The text showed us a list of the alien species from the Star Wars galaxy, including the ones from the mass effect universe. While I had the option of becoming a anthro pony, I was just used to being a human. Not to mention George was a little tempted to pick Chiss. My brother and I chose to stay human. After that, we chose to keep the looks we had from our past lives. I have white skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes. George also has white skin, black hair, and brown eyes.

Step 3: Select Background.

1: Raised to be the warriors, the parents taught their children how to fight like Mandalorians.

2: Born with a strong connection of the Force. With a heavy heart, the parents chose to send their sons to the Jedi Temple in order to learn how to control their force abilities.

“Well, I’m not one to join the Jedi. I believe I’m more of a Mandalorian by heart.” George said smiling.

I thought about the second option and looked at my brother. “But being able to use the Force would be cool and beneficial.” I told him.

My brother looked at me in concern. “While that maybe true. It runs the risk of being targeted by the Sith. Not to mention you would have to train with the Jedi. And considering the time period, that may not be the best idea.” He warned me. George did have a point. Jedi focused more on the Republic than those in need.

“Even so, I always wanted to use the Force. Besides, I’m not planning to stay with the Jedi. Just long enough to know how to use the Force.” I told him.

George thought for moment before sighing. “Very well, but be careful. Jedi are not what they used to be in this time period.” George told me. I nodded in understanding.

George has chosen background 1.

Alan has chosen background 2.

Please confirm.

“Yes.” My brother and I said.

Backgrounds confirmed.

Please read over your chosen steps.

It showed us a list of the chosen steps. We read over it and George pressed the confirm text.

Based on you chosen aspects. We have found a multiverse where the aspects exists in the Star Wars Universe. As well as how you two will be connected to the worlds.

Here is a brief summary.

30 years before the Clone Wars, Clan Skiritai, a Mandalorian Clan who follows their own code of honor, set out on an expedition into the Unknown Region in search of new land to settle 250 hundred years ago. With luck, the clan discovered a world called Terra. There, Clan Skiritai called the new discovered portion of the galaxy the Frontier Region.

While they explore and mapped out many new systems over the years, including forming many friends with new species, such as the Ponies of Equestria. Clan Skiritai chose to return to Mandalore to help their allies during the Mandalorian Civil War. What followed was a great tragedy. By the end of the Mandalorian Civil War, all but two members of Clan Skiritai survived. A male Mandalorian warrior and a female armorer. Instead of joining the New Mandalorians, Clan Skiritai chose to return to Terra.

When they returned to their new home. The Mandalorian armorer formed a arms manufacturing company called the Atlas Corperation. The Mandalorian warrior formed the Frontier Militia to combat bandits and criminal organizations trying to invade the Frontier. Eventually, two of the Mandalorians fell in love and conceived two children. Those children will be you two.

My brother and I looked at each other in shock before a bright white light enveloped us. That was the last time I saw my big brother.

———————————————————————————————————————

Years before the Clone Wars, A Jedi Youngling and his friends snuck out of the Jedi Temple and rescued enslaved people in the lower levels of Coruscant. While the young group did save the enslaved people, the Jedi Council were not happy about their actions.

———————————————————————————————————————

Aegis POV

When I was reborn in this world, I inherited the memories of the me in this Star Wars Universe. Though I knew the Jedi would take me to be a Jedi, I was shocked when I met the anthro ponies of the Mane 6 and Sunset Shimmer from The My Little Pony Universe in the Jedi Temple. Though they were a little different. Unlike the show, Twilight and Rarity didn’t have any horns, and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy were lacking their wings. I did some research, and discovered that characters from the MLP Universe who would have been Unicorns or Pegasi didn’t have any wings or horns. Though they are one of the species that have a strong connection to the Force. They originate from the world called Equestria, one of the worlds that’s a part of the United Frontier of Nations, which Princess Celestia and Princess Luna co lead Equestria. The planet was located in the Frontier Space, on the edges of Unknown Space.

Since remembering most of my past life, I tried my best to train so I can help those I can. I even became great friends with Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Sunset over the years. They all wanted to help others just as much as I do. The same was said for some of the other younglings, like Anakin. He was a little older than me, but he was like a big brother to me. We would always talk about star ships and he would sometimes help me improve my lightsaber skills. Unfortunately, our commitment to help those in need were seen by the Jedi Council as a act of disobedience.

For the past week I’ve been having nightmares of people suffering outside the Jedi Temple. When I went to Master Mundi about it, all he told me was we couldn’t save every person that’s suffering. Even so, I snuck out of the Jedi Temple and went to Senator Organa. I’ve met him a couple of times when I was escorting him with Master Kota, who was to be my Jedi master when I became a Padawan. My friends found out what I was doing and instead of telling the Council on me, they wanted to help. We went down into the lower levels of Coruscant and rescued people who were going to be turned into slaves. While we did free those people and Senator Organa helped them. The Jedi Council was not happy with our little adventure.

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Sunset Shimmer, and I were standing in the Council Room because of what we did. Even when we saved those people who would have been slaves for the rest of their lives, the Council believe what we did was wrong.

“Youngling Skiritai, Step forth.” Windu told me in the Council room. I stepped forward in front of my friends in the center of the Council Chambers. “Skiritai, do you have any idea with what you’ve done?” The dark skin master who never smiles sternly asked me.

“Yes.” I simply responded, not liking their attitude towards me and my friends.

“Is that all you have to say, Young Skiritai?” Master Plo Koon asked.

“If you expect an apology, then you all are surely mistaken.” I replied, a bit angry at their reaction to the incident.

“Young Skiritai, you and the rest of your clan snuck out, raged a unauthorized raid in the lower levels, and involved Senator Organa as well. You actions have put the Jedi Order in a dangerous situation with the Senate.” Windu glared at us.

Twilight walked up next to me. “With all due respect, Masters, we saved those who needed help the most. I don’t see how that in anyway was wrong.” She said, irritated at them.

“Yeah!” Rainbow Dash exclaimed. “Aegis has be having nightmares for an entire week of those people suffering, and when he asked you all about it, you said there was nothing we could do. Well guess what… We did something about it! And all your doing is criticizing us over it!” She yelled at them, stomper her hoof on the ground.

“Noble, your actions were, but not so simple, it is.” Yoda told us.

“Your actions has caused many in the Senate to view us as unchecked vigilantes. Some are demanding to install regulations on our Order.” Master Sasee Tiin told us.

“So our status is more important than helping people?” Sunset accused them with her arm crossed.

“I concur, for a government who despise slavery, they turn a blind eye when it’s happening on their doorstep.” Rarity scoffed.

“Younglings, our status in the Republic is what allows us to help more people.” Windu lectured us.

“But that didn’t include the people that were near the temple.” Pinkie Pie countered angrily.

“And many of the slaves were children around the same age as us. Some younger.” Fluttershy added. Some of the council members looked at each other at what we said. I can feel some of them believe what we said was true.

“Despite your noble intentions, we can’t just go out and try to save everybody. It is the Will of the Force that we…” Mundi didn’t finish as I lost it at what he said.

“THAT IS NOTHING MORE THAN A EXCUSE!” I snapped in anger.“The Force may guide us, but it doesn’t dictate our actions. The only one who believe that the Force controls everything are self righteous arrogant people who don’t take responsibility for their own actions!” I yelled at them, feeling my anger boil.

“Skiritai, you will show respect so long as you are in this chamber.” Windu demanded, glaring at me.

I paused for a moment. I couldn’t believe the way the supposed wise Council was acting. “You know… I thought the Jedi were meant to protect people in need. Not to serve corrupt politics.” I said as I took out my lightsaber and looked at it. “If this is what it means being a Jedi. Then I want no part in it.” I tossed my lightsaber in the middle of the room. All the Jedi masters were stunned by my declaration. I was about to leave before I saw my friends take out their lightsabers as well.

“Aegis is right. The Jedi are protecters and peacekeepers, not blind servants to a corrupt and greedy senate.” Twilight said, throwing down her lightsaber.

“We can’t in good conscious agree with how the Jedi work any longer.” Sunset told them, tossing her lightsaber away. The rest of my friends nodded their heads in agreement, throwing down their lightsabers as well.

We didn’t wait for a response as we left the quiet Council Chamber, but not before Pinkie Pie stuck her tongue out at them. We went to our bedrooms and packed everything up. I got my bag out from under my bed, grabbed my spare clothes and utensils, throwing them in it. I know I planned to leave the Jedi eventually, I just never thought so soon or be like this. Not to mention that my friends would go with me.

As I finished packing what little belongings I had, I felt a familiar Force signature as I heard my door open. “If your trying to convince us to stay Master Yoda, don’t. We made up our mind.” I told the small Master behind me as I zipped up my bag.

“Aware of that, I am.” Yoda responded patiently.

I sighed and turned around, lifting my bag over my shoulder. “I’m… sorry if I disappointed you Master, but I don’t see how we can be Jedi if we don’t help those in need.” I told him, walking past him. Master Yoda was one of the few Jedi that encouraged me to be open minded. Something some of the other masters wish I wasn’t.

“Disappointed, I am. But not in you or your friends.” Yoda hummed, I stopped and let him continue. “At myself and the Council, I am. Right you were. Change, the Jedi Order has.” Yoda said, placing both his hand on his walking cane in shame.

I turned around and looked at him. “For what it’s worth, I’m grateful for all you taught me. And I’m sure the same can be said for the rest of my friends.”

Yoda smiled a little. “Thank you, Aegis. Now a new path, you all will take.” He said. I returned the smile and nodded as I left my room.

I wasn’t sure how to feel. Disappointed? Since I first watched the Star Wars Movies, I thought all the Jedi were heroes. It wasn’t until later that I realized that not all of them were the heroes I saw them as. This universe was no different from that.
I continued walking down the halls for the last time, receiving some stares from the other Jedi I pass by. I saw the rest of my friends at the Temple entrance waiting for me. All of them were carrying similar bag as I was, though Rarity looked like she had more things in her bag than the rest of us. It was that moment when I realized that we practically had nothing left.

“Girls, I’m sorry for getting us into this mess.” I apologized to them, feeling shameful that I got them to leave as well.

Applejack walked up to me and rested her hand on my shoulder. “Sugarcube, you have nothing to be sorry for. We all couldn’t stand the Council’s decision.” My orange fur friend comforted me.

“But what do we do now. We have no money for housing or food.” I said, not sure of what comes next.

“Well, not exactly.” Rarity said smirking.

We looked at her with a raised eyebrow. “Huh?” We said in confusion. Rarity set her bag down and open it up, revealing a bag full of credits.

“Wow. Rarity, where did you get all of this?” Sunset asked. All of us wondering as well.

“Well dears, when we attacked the slavers’ hideout. Fluttershy, Pinkie, and I gathered any information on the slavers operations. We also found their personal stash of credits and decided to…” Rarity didn’t finish as Rainbow Dash interrupted.

“Steal them.” Rainbow said smirking.

“I prefer to use the term confiscate.” Rarity said slyly.

“Oh! We can get the best apartment on Coruscant with these many credits. Or maybe a party cannon that fires confetti! Throw a party! Oh! Maybe a personal starship!” Pinkie said, coming up with different ideas for the money. We all stared at her for a moment at her suggestions. Some of them were references to the MLP show, which shocked me. Then again, she does breaks the forth wall from time to time.

“Actually, getting a starship would allow us to get off planet. Considering what happened.” Rainbow Dash said. Knowing her, she just want a starship to fly all the time. Yeah, after today. I think getting away from the Jedi as possible is for the best.

“But where would we go? We don’t exactly have a home to go back to.” Fluttershy said.

We thought for what our next steps is until a idea came to my head. “What about Equestria?”

All the girls looked at me. “Equestria? Our homeworld?” Twilight asked.

“Yeah, Maybe we can find your families on Equestria.” I suggested to them. The girls looked a bit unsure before Pinkie Pie spoke up.

“Well, I think it’s a good idea. I always wanted to visit Equestria. I hear it’s one of the most amazing worlds in the Frontier.” Pinkie Pie said smiling.

“But what about your family, Aegis?” Sunset Shimmer asked, concerned. She was right. Though I know my parents and brother are Mandalorians and are most likely on Terra in the Frontier Region, I can't think of a way of contacting them.

“I don’t know where my family is.” I answered a little sadly. “But I believe your families are likely on Equestria. If anything it’ll give us a potential place to get away from the Jedi.” I told them.

The girls were still a bit unsure if that was okay for me but they nodded in agreement and we decided to go looking for a starship.

———————————————————————————————————————

Days later

“We’re arriving in a couple minutes.” Rainbow Dash told us.

We were in a purchased starship from Coruscant on our way to Equestria. We’re all eager to see the kind of world Equestria was. When the ship finally exited hyperspace, we were greeted by a lush planet with large bodies of water. Over the planet was a orbiting space station with shuttles traveling in and out.

“Unknown starship, this is the Equestria Militia Control. Please dock with the station for clearance.” A officer said from our transmitter.

“Um, roger that Militia Control. Coming in for docking.” Rainbow Dash responded on the comms as she flew the ship close to the station.

“What do ya’ll reckon we need clearance for?” Applejack asked wondering.

“My guess is to limit any smugglers trying to sneak onto and off the planet.” Twilight suggested.

Rainbow Dash docked the ship in the station and we left the starship. Around us were different species going about their business. Some of them were other anthro species from the My Little Pony Universe, such as dragons, griffons, and buffalos. What surprised us is that the guards are wielding blasters we’ve never seen before. Well, most of us. To me, their weapons looked like blaster versions of M6G magnum from the Halo Universe. We needed to find my friends families, so we went straight to a green Twi’lek checkpoint officer.

“Hello, I’m Officer Nelcy. Please state the nature of your visit.” She asked us, still looking at her computer screen.

“Hello, Officer Nelcy. We’re just trying to find our families here.” Twilight explained.

Officer Nelcy took her hands off the keyboard. “Find your families? Were you kids separated from them?” The officer asked worried.

We looked at each other, unsure wether or not we should tell her we were Jedi. “You could say that.” Sunset simply responded.

The officer gave us a suspicious look before looking at her console. “Well, I should be able to find your families here on my console. Just give me your names, age, and date of birth. You all can wait in the lobby until I call for you all.” Nelcy told us.

We all thanked her and gave her our names and ages. When I gave her my name, the Twi’lek officer looked at me in a little shock before asking us to wait in the lobby.

“So, what do you all think will happen if we don’t find our families?” Rainbow Dash asked worriedly.

“I honestly don’t know, Dash. Maybe we could at least make a living here.” Sunset asked.

“Oh, maybe run a bakery.” Pinkie Pie said. I stare in suppressed shock at her. Wonder how much it would take to completely shatter the forth wall. I shook away those thoughts and gave them my opinion.

“Maybe it won’t have to be one thing. We could each try other jobs.” I suggested.

“That’s not a bad idea, Aegis. We could perform different jobs and help support each other.” Twilight said.

Before we could discuss what we would do, Nelcy came walking toward us.
“You kids will be happy to know that I managed to get in contact with all of your families. And I've made arrangements for you all to meet them.” She told us.

The girls were excited to meet their families, but I caught something that put me off guard. I sensed what she was saying was true, but she said the rest of our families. As far as I knew, there weren’t any Mandalorians on Equestria.

“Um… What do you mean all of our families? I’m not a pony like my friends.” I asked her. My friends looked curiously at the officer as well.

Nelcy only smiled. “You’ll find out later, Mister Skiritai. I have a ship prepped to travel to Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria, where you all will meet your families.” She told us. We thanked her and got on the ship heading to Canterlot.

As we entered the atmosphere, my friends and I were in awe at the city of Canterlot. It was a large city built into the side of a tall mountain. I had to admit it was one of the most amazing cities I’ve ever seen. We landed at the port and made our way through customs. We would have had to show them our passports, but the customs officer received orders to let us through. I can’t help but wonder who could have allowed us free passage.

We were greeted by a group of Ponies waiting outside the spaceport. They were the families of Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Pinkie Pie. They hugged their daughters on overwhelming joy. Two of the ponies, whom I recognized were anthro versions of Stellar Flare and her son Sunburst, walking up to Sunset.
“Sunset?” Stellar asked with disbelief in her voice.

“Um… Yes.” Sunset answered, unsure who this person is.

Stellar got closed and hugged Sunset with tears in her eyes. “I never thought I would see you again.” She whispered, reveling that Stellar was Sunset Shimmer’s mother. Sunset realized this and hugged her mom back. Sunsburst was so excited to meet his sister and got in on the group hug. Huh. I guess those fan theories of Sunset being related to Sunburst were true. Well, at least in this universe.

I smiled that my friends found their families. Just then, I noticed Fluttershy’s looking to my right. I turned to what got her attention and saw a human wearing a Militia soldier uniform marching towards us. He was a tall man, about 6’5 feet tall, which is taller than most humans, in his early twenties with short black hair and brown eyes, wearing a grey officer uniform. He looked just like my big brother in my past life. I couldn’t believe I found him this early.

“Are you Aegis Skiritai?” The man asked.

“Um… yes, sir.” I answered, a little worried if he doesn’t recognize me.

The man softly smiled. “I’m Leonidas Skiritai, a Commander of the Militia.” He said before kneeling down and gaving me a big hug. “It’s good to see you again little brother.” He said, still hugging me. I was so glad to be reunited with my big brother and hugged him back.

After greeting each other, my brother offered everyone to dinner to get reacquainted with their daughters. They humbly accepted, though we weren’t expecting dinner to be held at the Palace. There, we met Princess Celestia and Luna, who happened to have been best friends with my parents. When I asked her about where they were, Leonidas told me that mom was away on a business trip, and Dad was on Terra for a military meeting. He was only on Equestria to get some R&R from some recent missions. At the dinner table, my friends and I told them why we left the Jedi. To say they were shocked would be an understatement.

“I can’t believe that the Jedi were so willing to abandon those innocent people.” Twilight’s mother, Twilight Velvet, said. All the other parents agreed as well at the Jedi’s decision.

“If we knew the Jedi were blind servants to the Republic, we never would have let them taken you.” Rainbow Dash’s father Bow Hothoof said with regretfully written all over his face.

“But why did ya’ll in the first place?” Applejack asked. She wasn’t blaming them in anyway, just curious as my friends and I were in why they allowed the Jedi to take us at such a young age.

“I believe my sister and I could answer that.” Princess Celestia said. We looked at them quizzically. “When a child with a strong connection to the Force is born, sometimes he or she doesn’t know how to properly control their, um… tantrums.” Princess Celestia said, earning us a confused look.

“When these tantrums happened, the infant would often times use the Force to levitate objects around them uncontrollably, which could injure anyone near them or the children themselves.” Luna finished explaining.

We all nodded in understanding. For the safety of Force Sensitive children, the Jedi had to take the children at a young age. But I don’t understand why that means the parents aren’t able to see their children again.

“But that isn’t the only reason Jedi take Force Sensitive children, is it?” Leonidas asked in all seriousness.

Celestia looked down in shame. “No, Leonidas. It isn’t. The other reason why they recruit children is to grow their order, and to make sure the children don’t fall to the dark side of the Force. Children are also much easier for the Jedi Order to impose their views on them. As well as to make sure the children don’t form attachments, since the Jedi believe that can lead to the dark side of the Force. It’s these reasons why children are never to return to their families.” Celestia explained. While I understand their reasoning, I can't help but think there could have been a better way.

“Excuse me, Princess Celestia, but I can’t help but wonder how you two know so much about the Jedi Order. It’s almost as if…” Twilight didn’t finish as Celestia answered.

“We were Jedi.” Celestia softly laughed. “Well, that’s because Luna and I were trained by a Force User who was a good friend of Master Yoda.” She answered.

All of us looked at her with our jaws almost dropped to the ground. “WHAT!” We exclaimed. How could Princess Celestia and Princess Luna use the Force and the Jedi don’t know about it. Not to mention who their teacher was.

Luna laughed a little. “Perhaps we should start in the beginning. Back during the Equestria Civil War, after our parents died, we were discovered by Starswirl, one of the very few Force Sensitive ponies. He helped and taught us the ways of the Force.” She explained.

“We went on many adventures together with him. In the last year of the Equestria Civil War. Starswirl helped us stop King Sombra, a Tyrannical Force User who nearly conquered the world. After Sombra’s defeat, he casting a powerful spell on what was once the Crystal Empire, causing it to disappear. My sister and I took our place as co leaders of Equestria.” Celestia said.

“It was a couple years after that time when we met Aegis’s and Leonidas’s parents. After the Mandalorian wars, they saw that the Hutts and other slavers were invading the Frontier. Richard, their father, formed the Frontier Militia, a unified military force to protect the Frontier. While heir mother Eliza started the Atlas Corporation to create weapons and ships for the Frontier. We've then helped form the United Frontier of Nations with some of the other worlds in the Frontier.” Luna finished. We were all completely shocked that Celestia and Luna story.

“Wow, Princesses. I’m no sure what to say.” Rainbow Dash said, amazed by their story. We nodded in agreement.

“I can’t imagine what that was like.” Fluttershy said nervously.

“But did the Jedi knew about Sombra? Why didn’t they help you all with battling Him.” Sunset asked. To be honest, we were all wondering that as well.

“Yeah, if the Jedi knew a dark side user was trying to conquer Equestria. Wouldn’t they interfere?” I asked. Now to mention the Jedi should have at least sense Sombra through the force.

“Sombra had the entire planetary communication cut off from the Republic. We had to rely on ourselves and our friends to stop Sombra. As for why the Jedi didn’t sense Sombra’s darkness, we don’t know. It may have been something was clouding their connection to the Force. It was fortunate that Starswirl decided to visit the planet when he did. He didn’t even sense the dark side growing on this planet until re arrived.” Luna explained.

“And only our friends know of our force ability. Starswirl didn’t want the Jedi Order knowing about us. He once explained that the Jedi Council was no longer the peacekeepers it once was. That they would do everything they can to get us to join the Order, since we were still quiet young at the time.” Celestia explained.

So the Jedi Order were narrow minded even then. I wonder when exactly the Jedi became so extreme. Were they always like that, or was it when they first joined the Republic. Either way, the Jedi are no longer the peacekeepers of the galaxy, just servants to a government that had become corrupt.

“Well, now that the history story is over, there’s something that I want to ask you all.” Leonidas asked my friends and I. “What do you all attend to do now?”

We didn’t know how to answer that. We found our families, and now we don’t know what to do next. I thought back of helping those slaves we freed. The emotion I got then, was the greatest feeling I ever had. It was at that moment that I knew what I wanted to do in my life.

“I guess I just want to help people. Maybe not as a Jedi, but just a guy wanting to help others.” I told them in honest. My friends smiled at my response and stood next to me.

“I concur. We may not be Jedi, but we don’t have to be in order to help people.” Rarity said determined.

“Yeah, there are plenty of people in the galaxy who could use some help.” Rainbow Dash said confidently.

“Oh! We could form our own team to help people.” Pinkie Pie enthusiastically.

“Oh, but we just got you all back.” Fluttershy’s Father, Mr. Shy said with concern.

“We’re sorry everyone.” Twilight apologized. “But we believe that helping others is what we are meant to do. What we choose to do.” She tried to convince them.

I could feel our families a little sadden by our decision, but also feel a sense of pride as well. They were proud of our choice to help others. The Princesses and my brother shared a smile. “Then you’ll need help completing your training.” Leonidas smirked.

“Um… What do ya mean, Mr. Skiritai.” Applejack asked my brother.

“You may have trained in the ways of the Force at the Jedi Temple, but it is not complete. My sister and I are more than happy to teach you all what we know.” Celestia offered. We were surprised they were willing to help us.

“But before we begin training. I suggest you all spend sometime with you families and get to know them.” Luna suggested. All of us agreed and enjoyed our dinner with our families.

Finishing dinner, I said goodbye to my friends as they went to their family’s homes. My brother took me to a two story house near the castle. It was being protected by a handful of droids that I recognized were based off the C6 from the Call of Duty Universe. Leonidas took me to the living room for a much needed discussion. We sat down on the couch as Leonidas sighed and scratched his head. In the living room, there was a glass table in the middle, with two large couches on the side. We each took a seat on the couches facing each other.

“Aegis, there’s something we need to talk about.” Leonidas said in all seriousness as he took out his pistol and set it on the table. “Do you know what model of pistol this is?” He asked me.

“It’s a Magnum pistol from the Halo Universe. Or at least a blaster version of it.” I said, smiling as I figured out why he asked me that.

Leonidas relaxed and smiled. “It’s good to see you again in this life, little brother.” Leonidas said.

“Likewise, brother. I’m surprised to see you hear of all places.” I replied smiling.

My brother chuckled. “Well how did you think I reacted when I was raised on Equestria.” Leonidas laughed before he slowly stopped. “It’s still hard to believe that we found each other again like this.”

“No kidding. What have you been doing all this time?” I asked him.

“Well, after we were reincarnated and you were sent to the Jedi Order, our dad save a huge group of kids from a slave ring. The slavers were using the kids to fight in underground fighting arenas. After they were rescued, Mom and Dad helped build a orphanage for them to have normal lives. I actually grew up with them when Mom and Dad were away. And I quickly realized the kids are the same people who would’ve been spartans from the Halo Universe.” He explained.

I looked at him for shock. “Wait, does that mean…” I didn’t finish as Leonidas smiled at me.

“That I met and befriended some of the people who would one day become Spartans. Which includes befriending John 117.” He said laughing a little. “Though things started to change when Doctor Halsey proposed something to our dad. After the Naboo Crisis years ago, the Outer Rim started breaking away from the Republic and tension started to rise. Halsey believed a war was about to break out and we needed stronger soldiers. And to do it, she needed kids to be trained as super soldiers. As you could guess, it was the Spartan Project. At first, our mom and dad didn’t want anything to do with her project, seeing it as it goes against the principles of the Frontier Militia. But after talking about it with the other security council Generals, he decided to go through the program after insisting on some changes.” Leonidas explained to me.

I raised an eyebrow at what he meant. “Changes? What kind?”

“Well for one, all the candidates have to volunteer for the program and are briefly warned about the risks. Not a single one of them could be forced to join.” Leonidas said as he lifted up a finger. “Also, if any of the candidates choose leave the program, they may choose to if they wish and receive military benefits.” Leonidas explained. At least the candidates have a choice in the matter unlike the ones in the Halo Universe. “Also, the procedures used were roughly the same as the one in the Halo Universe, but with the help of medical technology that exist in this universe. Only difference are that Spartans are not as tall as 7 feet, but instead reaches the height of 6 to 6’5 inches. Some taller.” Leonidas explained.

“So have any of the candidates chose to reject or leave?” I asked.

Leonidas shook his head. “Actually, the kids chosen for the program wanted to join the militia when they grow up. So every one of us chose the to join the program.” He explained.

“Wait, you were chosen as well?” I said in shock.

“Yup, even though I have a talent at making machines, such as creating the basis for the C6’s droids guarding the house. I have a knack for combat. Dad wasn’t happy I volunteered, but he eventually respected my decision.” Leonidas said before looking a little somber. “Though sometimes, whenever I talked about you, they always appear regretful of sending you away.” Leonidas explained. I guess sending me to the Jedi Temple was a lot harder on them than I thought.

“Well, I can't wait to meet them.” I said, looking forward to finally see my parents.

“I’m sure they’ll be more than thrill to see you again as well. In the meantime, we need figure out what you and your friends want to do in the future.” Leonidas said, changing the subject.

I was a bit confused at what he said. “Um, I figured we be like a private division in the Militia?” I asked, but Leonidas shook his head.

“I’m sorry, Aegis. But the age requirement to join the Militia for humans and humanoid species is eighteen years old. Since you’re twelve and your friends are roughly the same age, you all won’t be able to join the Militia even after completing you and your friends Force training.” Leonidas explained.

“Then what will we do? If we can’t join the Militia, then how will we be able to help others?” I questioned.

Leonidas just smiled a bit. “While you and the others may not be part of the Militia, you could still help others by acting as freelancers. You can take up jobs that require hunting down criminals, transporting supplies to poor worlds, or provide security to people. In fact, you all will be able to operate in places the Militia have no authority in.” Leonidas suggested.

I thought about it and agreed with what my brother suggested. We could help others in need in any part of the galaxy, not just the Frontier. I’ll need to speak to my friends about what they think of this.

“There’s one more thing. Yesterday, I found this next to my dresser.” Leonidas said as he placed a note on the table.

Dear Leonidas and Aegis, I regret to inform that something unfortunate has happened during your reincarnation. Right as you two finalized the steps to be reborn in the multiverse, someone or something infiltrated the void and interfered with the process. Instead of sending the two of you to a multiverse with just the aspects you chose, you were reincarnated into a multiverse with aspects from other universes as well, albeit a little different. As such, you two will only know which universe the aspects originate from, but note the history of them. To make matters worse, the individual that infiltrated the void has been reincarnated as well. I wish I could tell you who this individual was, but he or she has hidden his identity.

From the Watcher.

I remember now, back in the void, it looked like there was an glitch when we were reincarnated. Looking back up at my brother, I could see he was greatly concerned by this note. “Leonidas, what do we do?” I asked him.

Leonidas took a moment before opening his mouth. “At the moment, there’s nothing to do, but we shouldn’t worry about it too much, otherwise we would never get any rest.” He said before look outside the window and saw how dark it’s gotten. “Well, it’s late and I have some work to get done tomorrow. We’ll continue talking about this another time.” I agreed and we went to our bedrooms, but not before giving each other a huge hug.

As I walked to my bedroom, I can’t help but wonder what the future will hold for me and my friends. I opened the door to my bedroom and in it was a queen size bed, a night stand, a dresser, two windows overlooking the back of the house, a closet, and large TV on the wall. Walking to the bed, I laid down on the furniture and just fell to sleep, thinking about what the future holds next.
