Dungeon - Jade Vault
Before the group continued down another bridge in the Dungeon, Beep-0 opened the Battle HQ so that the heroes could upgrade their Skill Trees, just in case they ran into any more Idols or other traps down there.
Applejack used 2 of her Runes to increase the damage dealt while she's on high ground, and to increase the range of her Boomerang.
Rabbid Rarity used 3 of her Runes to increase the damage her Shield can absorb, and to increase the range and effectiveness of her Heal.
Rabbid Granny used 2 of her Runes to reduce the number of turns it takes for her Stink Eye to recharge.
Beep-0 closed the Battle HQ and the group entered the next battlefield, but as soon as they entered it, a loud burp was heard and fire was shot directly in front of them!
Applejack and Rabbid Rarity jumped backwards in surprise, but Rabbid Granny didn't react in time as the sudden attack managed to hit her.
"BWA-BWAH!!!" she shouted as she ran around with her walking stick on fire, and quickly put it out by hitting it against the ground.
"What the hay was that?!" Applejack shouted, still a little shaken up from the unexpected wall of fire. "Are there dragons down here?!"
Beep-0 looked at the edges of the battlefield, and saw that there were 6 golden, Rabbid-like totems with glowing red eyes with fire in their mouths. "No, it's much worse. Fire Burpers!" Beep-0 explained to the group. "At the end of our turn, they'll shoot flames from their mouths."
"Bada Bwah." Rabbid Rarity said with worry.
"I agree, that's not good, but not all of them will do it, however. If you watch carefully, you SHOULD be able to tell which ones are about to belch fire, and fortunately, my sensors indicate that we only need to defeat 13 enemies to end this battle."
"Well, that's good. I say we better get started before those Burpers start building up their inner Spike." Applejack told the others as she took her place on the battlefield.
"Bwa-Bwaaah!" Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny cheered in agreement as they joined the orange pony.
Defeat 13 Enemies - 3 Hoppers, 2 Smashers, 1 Summoner (Obstacle: Fire Burpers)
Applejack scooped up Rabbid Rarity, then entered a pipe that circled around one of the Burpers on the left side of the battlefield, then entered a pipe in the middle that led to the right side before taking cover behind a full cover. She then bucked Rabbid rarity to an area closer to the left side. Using her banjo, she activated her Magnet Groove, drawing all, but the Summoner, toward her.
Rabbid Rarity blasts the Summoner, which triggered a Push Effect that sent him rolling out of the battlefield before respawning a moment later. She then dashes the 2 Smashers and the Summoner, defeating the latter, and entered the pipe in the middle of the battlefield before coming to a stop beside a partial cover.
Taking advantage of how much damage Rabbid Rarity dealt to the enemy Rabbids that surrounded her, Applejack used her Buck Slam, which triggered a Bounce Effect that sent them all flying. This attack defeated them all, and released the SupaMerge energy.
Without any enemies currently on the battlefield, Rabbid Granny had to skip her turn, much to her disappointment.
The Burpers at the upper left corner and the upper right side shot fire out of their mouths, which fortunately, avoided our heroes since the weren't in range of them. Soon after, both Burpers on the left side and the one on the lower right corner began to charge up their fire.
4 sets of Rabbid ears burst from the ground near where Rabbid Granny was standing, signaling that new enemies were about to appear.
Applejack entered the pipe in the middle of the battlefield, then reentered that pipe that circled around the Burper on the left side. She yanked on one of the sets of ears before bucking the resulting Smasher towards another set, triggering another Smasher to pop out of the ground early.
Rabbid Rarity dashed both Smasher, then moved a reasonable distance away from them. She then blasts one of them, which triggered a Push Effect that sent him rolling out of the battlefield, defeating him. She activates her Shield.
Rabbid Granny dashed the remaining Smasher, then moved a reasonable distance away from him. She then blasts him, which triggered a Vamp Effect that healed her with half of the damage she had dealt to him. This, however, gets the Smasher's attention as he begins to charge towards her before stopping to rest.
Applejack threw her Boomerang at the Smasher, which triggered a Burn Effect that sent the enemy running before being defeated, and healed her with half of the damage she dealt to him.
The Burpers shot fire out of their mouths soon after, but didn't hit any of the heroes. Both Burpers on the right side and the one at the upper left corner began to charge up their fire.
2 Hoppers soon burst out of the ground, and they each blasted Applejack. One of them gets a Team Jump from his buddy, and lands in a spot near Rabbid Rarity, which triggered a Vamp Effect, but thankfully didn't drain any of her Health because of her Shield, and activated his Super Shield, while the other simply just took cover behind a nearby full cover.
3 sets of Rabbid ears burst from the ground, 2 near Applejack and 1 near the upper left Burper, signaling that new enemies were about to appear.
Applejack yanked on one of the sets of ears, then moved a reasonable distance before bucking the resulting Hopper towards the set next to it, triggering another Hopper to pop out of the ground early.
Rabbid Rarity dashed 3 of the Hoppers, while also disabling the one's Super Shield, then stopped right next to a Push Cover. She then sent a Sentry to where all but 1 of the Hoppers were gathered, defeating all of them.
Rabbid Granny entered the pipe in the middle of the battlefield and ended up on the right side, where she dashed the remaining Hopper, got a Team Jump from Rabbid Rarity that cleared her Vamp Effect, and Freeze Blasted the enemy. She then blasts the Hopper and defeated him, but also damaged Rabbid Rarity and blew up the Push cover that she was standing right by in the process, sending her rolling out of the battlefield before respawning a moment later.
Rabbid Rarity used her Heal to heal both herself and Rabbid Granny, who also activated her Stink Eye.
Applejack soon activated her Hero Sight.
The Burpers shot fire out of their mouths, missing the heroes. This time, one the Burper in the lower right corner started to charge up its fire.
A Summoner soon burst out of the ground, and began to charge up his powers. He began to move, but got hit by Applejack's Hero Sight, which triggered a Burn Effect that sent him running, and by Rabbid Granny's Stink Eye, which triggered a Vamp Effect, defeating him and ended the battle.
The heroes cheered as they were healed and rewarded 1550 apples and 3 Runes.
Just as the group started to moved out of the battlefield and go down another bridge, they all saw a giant golden statue of Rabbid Jack fighting what appeared to be a giant, jade snake.
"Rabbid Jack found a tiny garden snake while planting some hydrangeas." Beep-0 explained to the others. "The artist blew it out of proportion to stroke her ego."
"Honestly, that's kinda how I remember seein' those vampire fruit bats when they invaded our orchard some time back." Applejack admitted. "So, I don't blame her."
"But then Fluttershy became Flutterbat, and that's what convinced you to take her advice about giving them part of the orchard, right?" Beep-0 recalled.
"Yeah."
"Don't worry about that, that's in the past and you've moved on from it."
"Thanks, Beep-0"
The pair look over at Rabbid Rarity and Rabbid Granny, who looked wide-eyed at Applejack, not believing that she faced actual vampires and were a little scared.
"Don't worry, they didn't eat anypony, just apples."
The Rabbids sighed in relief.
"Come on, let's keep moving." Beep-0 suggested.
The group continued down the path while taking one last look at the statue, fearing that Rabbid Jack might be close.
