'Why would the castle be so calm and empty, didn't they had planned the wedding for today?'
As she waked toward the dining room, the silence only growing the feeling of wrongness, more question started to arise.
'Shouldn't there be more guards? It's an important wedding from what I had heard from sister. Could it means that the wedding has ended? Have I slept that much?' she checked on the moon's position 'It does looks like I did' she suddenly stopped
'wasn't there a few guards that came during the day? This is probably why i slept so much, I'll have to tell sister to warn her guards not to wake me up in the middle of the day, I fear I might hurt one' as she continued, lost in her thoughts, she didn't see the remanents of the battles that occured outside, open for all to see.
Opening the doors of the dining room, she looked around and seeing that he sister wasn't alone only said "Greeting, I appologise, for I apparently missed your wedding, dear niece. How has been your day sister dear?" only then did she noticed the heavy silence reigning in the room.
Without a word she walked to her sit. Once she reached it, she decided to enquire more about the situation.
"Am I right if I guess that the missing of Twilight Sparkle and her marefriend at this table might be one of reason for the silence of this room?" No words were spoken but the looks of every pony at the stable was everything she need. Only Candance held her head high, looking angrily to everypony at the table.
"So that's how it's gonna be? We are gonna ignore what happened, act like nothing wrong was done and in a few week everything will be forgotten?" seeing the lack of reaction, Luna decided to intervene "May I enquire about what you just said?" Cadance let out a sigh before speaking
"As you can see, we are missing Twilight and Rainbow Dash and you may have not noticed it, I do know you are not one to fully wake up quickly, but there have been fightings outside the castly." she took a deep breath and held it a little before continuing, "Around five days ago I was captured and replaced by changelings, more precisely by a changeling queen. Apparently no pony noticed since the usurpator continuously put it off any unusual behavior as stress from the wedding's preparations, I-" she was cut off by a small laugh from Luna "you don't mean to tell me that none of the here present ponies noticed that you, of all ponies, should not be stressed by a wedding? You are joking right? If there is one thing I did learned about you since I returned, it is that you can not be stressed over a matter of love" looking around she noticed that he words did not appeared to be understood as she intended. looking back at Cadance she noticed that, she too didn't reacted as intened and was, again looking at the ponies around her with a mixt of anger and disapointment.
"Sadly, aunty Luna, it seems that you were to only one to think that way, at least at this table. Now, on the reason why Twilight is here, she came to the same conclusion as you, not believing the excuses and trying to make her friends and mentor see it too. In short, they didn't believed her, even after she showed them more proofs. The last time she tried, she got told not to come at the wedding by her brother and your sister here told her to think about everything that happened." the dark look the two got as she was speaking showed how unhappy she was about what happened.
"Where I first though that she would have tried to excuse herself to the usurpator, it appeared that the event of last summer sun celebration and the fact that Rainbow Dash didn't believed and understood Twilight's though made her reaction a bit more... extreme. I do not know what she said exactly but I do know that she left after it saying that she would never come back, Rainbow naturally followed, adding the fact that, as the element of loyalty, she didn't want to be friend with ponies using others for their own gain." she looked back at Luna before saying one last thing "They truely left, we have no idea where and the events of the day did not gave us the time to search for them."
Luna nodded before looking back toward her sister, "May I ask you, sister, what happened to the changeling queen? taking in that the main preoccupation is Twilight Sparkle's disapearance, I suppose no pony has been badly hurt and that they have been succesfuly pushed back from Canterlot.
Celestia sighed before talking, "On the contrary of the current state of their relations, when Chrysalis, the Changeling queen, attacked, Shinning Armor and Cadance were still in love, we were losing and overwelmed but when they managed find each other, Cadance gave enough magic to Shining Armor so he could recreate a shield and eject all changelings from the city."
"I suppose I will have to start looking for Twilight then, the night has come and you all seems very tired, you should all go to sleep, you too sister." said Luna before standing up "I will see the cooks for them to prepare me a coffee, I think they forgot about it inthe coffusion." as she headed out of the room, four ponies noticed that, even if her tone was as polite as when she entered the room, there was a new coldness that appeared when Celestia was evoked.
Slowly, they all got up one by one and left the room, only lasted one dragon that hadn't said a word since Twilight left. He left sometimes later, still silent.
