Celestia plays Plague Inc: First time

It was a sunny day when Celestia plays her computer, looking for some good and realstic games to play.

"Hmm... which... should... I... play?" She scrolls down the list of games, when she found...

"Plague... Inc? Might be interesting..." she clicked at the download button. While the computer downloading the game file for Plague Inc, she prepared and filled a teapot with tea, of course. The download was done when she wad pouring the tea into the teapot.

"Oh, the download is done! Let's play it!"
As she double-clicked at Plague Inc to open it, she watched the teaser of Plague Inc, as the opening of the game.

"Commencing autopsy 3..."
"Wow I am excited to see the game!" She can't wait for the trailer to end.

1 and about a half minutes later, the teaser is done, and she was brought to the main menu of the game.

"Hmm... which one should I click? Oh I guess this 'Single Player' button."

She was headed to the main menu, where she clicked the 'Main game' button. After that, she have to choose one type of the 11 plagues available. It is Celestia's first time, so only bacteria is unlocked while the rest needs to be unlocked by playing the previous plague in Normal, Brutal, or Mega Brutal difficulty. Of course, Celestia didn't notice the Pity Mode, which allows her to unlock the next plague when she beaten the current plague in Casual twice.

"Let me play this in Casual, I want to know if this plague really is realstic"

Plague choosen: Bacteria, no genetic code modified, casual difficulty, name: PAX 12.

Unfortunately, what she found was litterally far away from her expectation. The world is the Earth, along with 7 billion humans, 'ready' to be eradicated. She had to choose which country she will start the plague. But...

"Uhh... which country should I start?" As a princess with strong love, it was really hard for her to decide which country to start at. But she must make a decision right now, or never.

"Hmm... I guess... let's start with Kazakhstan," she popped the play button at Kazakhstan, which appeared as she clicked at the country.

The plague started as the biohazard bubble appeared in Kazakhstan, infecting the patient zero there. Infectivity is still low, along with severity and lethality. Her objective is to eradicate humans from eafth, using the bacteria she had choosen. The first orange bubble appears, and the game tips tell her to pop it, to get DNA points. She had no idea what to do, but she had a feeling that with those DNA points she gathered, she'll need to evolve some traits in order to make the plague stronger, and more lethal.

"You have enough DNA points" the pop-up message appears as she got about 7 DNA points from 12 infected peoples at Kazakhstan.

"Ah, I guess I should evolve something for this bacteria, but where?" The pop-up message tells that she must go to the 'Disease' tab to evolve some trait. When she clicked at it, she started thinking and evolving very carefully.

Symptoms: Coughing

Now the plague spreads very fast. She had no idea how they could make a game very good like this.

"Oh mother of me, this game really is realstic! The planes wander around the planet as well as ships, and the clouds!" She really didn't regret downloading the game.

But the disregret didn't stop there. As PAX 12 infects more peoples, Kazakhstan gets red-infection, indicating high infection rate.

"PAX 12 spreads to Russia"

As the plague infects more people, a man whose travelling around Kazakhstan comes back home to Russia, infecting more peoples in Russia, therefore increasing the infectivity slightly.

"Woah my plague spread to Russia..."

Suddenly a message pop-up appeared again, saying: "Your bacteria has taken an important step in becoming a Plague."

"I must complete the game now, this is a very good looking game" She evolved more traits at the transmission and symptoms.

Traits evolved: Transmission: Bird 1, Rodent 1, Air 1, Blood 1, Air 2; Symptoms: Pneumonia, Sneezing, Nausea, Insomnia

As she evolved more traits, the infectivity and severity rate increases significantly, therefore infecting more countries.

A ship from Russia was on its journey to USA, and it was infected! Thereby infecting USA.

"PAX 12 infects thousands" a pop-up message appears, telling her to not stop evolving her plague to the next level becoming a pandemic.

"My plague is one more step to global!" When...

"PAX 12 Identified" another pop-up message warns Celestia that the humans will start working on the cure as bacteria can be easily cured.

"Uh oh, here comes trouble," Celestia was worried. It looks like she was taking the game too serious.

While the cure information tells that the cure will be ready in 10 years, and it is accelerating as chaos starts in Kazakhstan.

"First death in Kazakhstan" another pop-up message notifies Celestia that her bacteria infection caused hundreds of death in Ukraine, every day. And the death per day is increasing, thereby increasing the lethality level.

The 'Cure' tab shows the chart of how many percent peoples had infected, and how many were not yet, as well as death. It also shows Celestia the cure progress, which had turned out to be "more than one year" as 25 Plague Inc days had passed. This warns Celestia that the cure will be available soon.

"I've got to stop the cure now. But how?"

"Tip: Drug resistant abilities can slow down cure" another pop-up message tells Celestia how to slow down the cure progress. But she got it. She will evolve it when the cure progress is up to 50%.

Unfortunately, more than half of the world is infected, and just a fraction of the infecfed peoples were died. This means, the plague daily infection increases. That means...

Trait evolved: Symptoms: Total Organ Failure

Severity is up to the third of the severity level, thereby increasing daily deaths.

45 Plague Inc days passed, and...

"There are no healty people left in the world"

Celestia got it. She got to eradicate humans before the cure stops her from doing it.

Trait evolved: Symptoms: Coma

Few minutes later, the 'Cure' tab tells that 'Humanity is close to extinction'

"Wait, I didn't expected this... why am I even eradicating humans, when they are innocent?"

Traits devolved: Symptoms: Total organ failure and Coma

She got the point. It was easy for her to eradicate humans, but her mind made her think she was eradicating 7 billion ponies!

"I'll let those heroes cure my disease. Besides, this was just a game, what could go wrong?"

"Cure available in 5 days", "4... 3... 2... 1..."

"Cure for PAX 12 is complete"

The cure for PAX 12 is complete, therefore curing every single infected survivors.

Celestia giggled as the game tells her that she lost the game.

"This was just a game, lose and win, doesn't matter."

And finally, Celestia lost the game, only because she feel bad for the infected peoples that don't deserve death by the pathogen.
