Episode 12: Mexi-(Can do) Attitude

Discord VO: Previously on The Amazing Crossover Race! The teams took a visit to good ol' England. Their fanciness was not included in the Buckingham Palace since we didn't have to dress for the occasion. Instead, the teams had to find tips in this massive place where you cab easily get lost. It was also the first time the teams experienced the first ever survival challenge which was Soccer. The Wonderbolts ended up winning for their second time and it all came down to the wire between the Musicians and Scientists. With the score tied, the Musicians won with a lucky break because Derpy scored the last point... into the WRONG goal. That sent her and the Doctor a one way ticket out of the game.

Discord appears.

Discord: We're close to the halfway point throughout this series, and things are going to get tougher from now on right here on... The Amazing Crossover Race!

With a snap of fingers, the intro begins yet again.

Episode 12: Mexi-(Can do) Attitude

"Welcome back to London, England!" Discord introduced the audience. "This is where the teams will be departing from yesterday's finish line at the General Wolfe Statue; which will now be today's starting point. The previous winners of the last leg get today's first tip." Spitfire and Soarin are already at the cloudbox.





(Interview: Wonderbolts)

Spitfire: We got two wins throughout this race so far.

Soarin: We still can't let our guard down. We gotta stay focused and maybe we'll go for two wins in a row this time.

Spitfire: I'm all for it!





Soarin gets the rip and reads it. "Take a tour bus to the airport and you'll be flying to Mexico, Olé!"

Discord: I think what he meant was, OOOlé! Located in the Southern part of North America, Mexico is the tenth most populous country and the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world, while being the second most populous nation in Latin America after Brazil. It is also known for some of the delicious foods here. Teams will take one flight to Mexico and then take the bus to their next destination where they need to locate the next cloudbox.

Many hands and hooves press the button and get their travel tips.

"Mexico huh? Is it that place with those fancy outfits and those large wide hats?" Paratroopa wondered.

"You're on the right track, but I'm not sure what those outfits are called." Koopa said.

All the teams get on the bus and travel to the airport. Fast forward ahead as the teams are already on the plane and on their way to Mexico. Pan to the inside of the plane.

"Wow, there are actually six unique Mexican traditions held here." Ringo said while reading.

"What were they?" Raffina asked her.

"They happen to be Celebrations, Nicknames, Traditional Mexican hat dancing, custom meals, Alebrijes, and piñatas." Twilight replied.

Pinkie cuts in. "Did you just say piñatas? That's one of my favorite things Mexico has."

"Let me guess, it is because of the candy inside?" Sunset guessed.

"*gasps* How did you know?"

"Let's call it a hunch." Twilight told her.

(Go over to the Siblings talking)

"Looks like we're getting better again!" Apple Bloom told her sister.

"Yep, but from now on, we're going to steer clear of the troublemakers. They'll try to make us lose the race, or slow us down." Approach said to her.

"Got it."

Meanwhile, the Ex Sisters are arguing yet again.

"For the last time, move over!" Luna said

"I already told you Luna, I'm sitting by the window." Celestia told her angrily.

"I already called dibs on sitting by the window."

"I got here first, so deal with it!" 

"Will you move already?" Luna asks her.

"You didn't say please." Celestia pointed out.

Luna rolled her eyes and signed. "Fine! Can we PLEASE switch seats right now?"

"Nope!"

"You're more difficult than I thought!"

They continue arguing as the Bowsers are now chatting with each other.

Bowser is sitting in his seat looking grumpy. "Losing in our homeworld was bad enough, now we're back in the bottom and I don't like it."

"What does it take to get some allies in here?" Bowser Jr complains. "If we can't find any, there's only one other thing we can do.

"What would that be son?"

Bowser Jr smirked. "Play dirty."

"I like it, but for starters we should try taking down a certain team to start off." Bowser suggested.

"How about those Mario Bros.?"

"Nah, that would be way to obvious. We'll deal with them later. They aren't worth it yet."

"Well which one then? The Siblings? Wonderbolts? I don't which specific team you want to go for."

Trixie pops up behind them. "The Great and Powerful Trixie would suggest going for the easiest team, then slowly make your way up. That's what Trixie herself would consider.

"Oh and who would you suggest going for? Your rivals?" Bowser asked the unicorn.

Gilda shook her head no. "Not quite, I was thinking you should start off with THAT team." She points to the Young Princesses who were asleep. "They seem to be an easy target if you ask me."

Bowser Jr face palmed. "Are you kidding me? Those two little babies? Why would we do that?"

"Hello? It's called strategy remember?" Trixie told him.

"Well how would you deal with them? You don't expect to turn them against each other do you? They're inseparable." Bowser reminds them.

"Yeah, that might backfire so fast."

Gilda already had the solution to their question. "Of course we know genius, but what you don't know is their weakness is right in plain sight."

(Zoom in to Baby Peach and Baby Daisy clutching their rattles while they're still sleeping.)

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Bowser asked Trixie.

"Definitely!" Trixie responded.

Discord VO: The plane finally landed in Mexico and the teams board the bus. Where they have twenty minutes to get to the next location of the second cloudbox.

"I can't believe we're here in Mexico. I just wonder what clothes these people wear here." Rarity thought.

"You're going to think about using it for your future designs are you?" Spike asked

"Well of course I am."

Go to the Twins sitting in their seats.

"How can we make allies if we don't have any?" Wario asks his partner.

"I can't believe they replaced us for a pony and a griffon." Waluigi replied crossing his arms in anger.

Paratroopa pops up in front of the two. "Oooh, I think I know what's going on you two."

Koopa popped up as well. "Yep Ithink that somebody is J-E-A-lous!

"Will you to knock it off already? We are not jealous." Wario shouted to them.

"Oh yes you are. You're just jealous your old buddies ditched you for some new friends." Paratroopa said.

"Oh shut up and mind your own business." Waluigi angrily said to the two.

"They're in denial." Koopa whispered to his partner.

"I know."

(Pan to the Young Princesses asleep again. Unaware that trouble is about to come.)

"I'm going in."  Gilda goes down onto the floor and peeks up behind them. She ducks down to avoid getting spotted and slowly reaches down from behind the seat and snagged Baby Daisy's rattle without waking her up. She leaves immediately and goes to her partner and the Bowsers."

"Impressive!" Bowser complimented.

"I know right?" Gilda added.





(Interview: Tricksters)

Gilda: There's nothing in my talon right now.

Trixie: But what do we have.. (takes off her hat to reveal the rattle they took. Trixie now has it in her hoof.) here? It's amazing how one little rattle can change one team's game completely.

Gilda: For good.





"You two aren't that bad!" Bowser said. "How would you like to join our alliance?"

Gilda raised an eyebrow. "US join you guys? What's in it for us?"

"We'll take you to the finale and split the prize money 50-50." Bowser Jr insisted.

"Deal, but do not try and trick us." Trixie said while agreeing.

The bus stops at the destination and the teams get off the bus.

Baby Daisy stops in her tracks. "Something doesn't feel right." She noticed something was missing. "Wait, my rattle! Where's my rattle?"

"Is something wrong?" Baby Peach asked her feeling worried.

"My rattle is missing. It's gone!"

"Maybe you dropped it on the bus. Let's look there."

They both go back on the bus to search while the other teams get their tips from the cloudbox.

Spitfire reads the tip that came out. "Another duo challenge, Peppers and Dip."

We now see Discord by a pepper stand.

Discord: Mexico is known for its hot peppers. For this spicy duo challenge, both team members must eat one of these three assorted peppers from this stand right here. After that, they both must jump off the platform depending on which pepper they ate. (Zoom in on the lowest platform.) Eat the spiciest pepper, you get to jump from lowest level. (Zoom in on the second highest level) Eat the second hottest pepper, and you jump from the second highest level. (Zoom in on the highest platform.) However, if you eat the mildest pepper, then be prepared to jump twenty stories high of the highest platform known to man or pony. Teams will swim to shore and grab a canteen of milk to cool off their tongue with the next travel tip attached to their canteens. One twist however, is you can eat the pepper that YOU are more comfortable with. It doesn't matter if you and your teammate eat different ones.

Pinkie grabs the spiciest pepper. "Lemme give it a try." She eats the pepper. "Mmmm, not bad." Suddenly, her face starts turning red before being all dramatic about her mouth being on fire. A minute later, she's back to herself. "Delicious! Can I have another?"

Mario gets confused by that. "Uh, is something wrong with her?

"She's just being Pinkie Pie. You don't know what that pomy is capable of." Rainbow Dash said to him.

"I guess that makes sense." Luigi thought.

"Climb up to the lower platform and jump off. I meet you there later." Cheese Sandwich tells her.

Pinkie climbs up the ladder while the other teams decide which peppers to have. Paratroopa, on the other hand, grabbed the spiciest pepper and ate it.

"Well that didn't turn out so bad after all." Paratroopa said before his Face starts turning red.

"Uh, then why is your face red?" Koopa asked.

"Beats me." Paratroopa doesn't seem to notice.

"Not to mention you are also sweating too."

"Must be hot out here today." Sure enough Paratroopa is sweating a lot.

"Let the meltdown begin in 3, 2, 1, and...

Paratroopa screams very loudly while his mouth breathes fire. "HOT! HOT!!" Frantically runs back and forth. "I NEED MILK! SOMEBODY GET ME SOME MILK!"

Koopa grabs a green pepper instead of the yellow one. "I'll just eat the medium instead. Go ahead and I'll-" He turned around and saw his partner with his face submerged in the water.

Rainbow Dash pulls him out. "What's the matter? Can't stand the heat?"

"It was sooooo spicy, my tongue is still burning from that pepper." Paratroopa painfully said with tears.

Rainbow Dash grabs the spiciest pepper too. "Well looks like somebody isn't brave enough to handle that pepper unlike me." She eats the pepper and begins climbing up the ladder.

"Uh, I guess the medium pepper is a good option. I don't want to end up like that." Scootaloo said pointing to Paratroopa.

As Rainbow Dash continues climbing up the ladder, her face suddenly turns red and she begins breathing heavily.

"HOT! I NEED MILK NOW!" She Jumps off the platform quickly and dove into the water below. She gets out immediately and quickly guzzled down her milk without stopping. "*sighs in relief* Much better."

"The hottest one can't be that bad right?" Ringo asks.

She then noticed Rainbow Dash that drank a whole canteen to get rid of the spiciness on her tongue and saw Paratroopa with his head in the water getting his tongue cooled off.

"Ok then, medium it is." Sunset confirmed.

"Good point, it's better to jump from the middle platform than the highest one." Raffina added.

Twilight nodded in agreement. "Not to mention having that spiciest pepper will cause you to do... well, what they just did." The Pen Pals and Schoolgirls all grab the green pepper and eat them.

(Zoom over to Spitfire and Soarin who have the spiciest pepper too.)

"We faced tougher challenges like this. Don't think, just eat." Spitfire said.

"Okay." Soarin starts chewing right away.

Cut back to the bus where the Young Princesses are searching for the rattle.

"It's not underneath the seats." Baby Daisy said.

"It's nowhere up here either." Baby Peach tells her.

"We've checked under the bus too, and nothing."

"Maybe it dropped somewhere outside? It might be buried in the sand somewhere."

"Okay then. We'll search there." Baby Daisy agreed.

They both get off the bus and search the area.

Go back to the first challenge where some teams still decide on which peppers to have. Some are already climbing to the platforms.

Octavia grabs two medium peppers and hands one over to her partner. "Here, eat this and climb up to the middle platform. I'll be right behind you."

Applejack hands the mildest pepper to her sister and gives herself the medium pepper. "Here, eat this one sugarcube, and I'll take the green one."

"But won't I have to jump from all the way up there?" Apple Bloom asked her grabbing the yellow pepper.

"Yeah, but you can handle it can't ya? You and your friends jumped together last time. Try that again."

"Ha! I'm basically a fire-breather, so I'm pretty sure I can handle the hottest pepper. Bowser bragged as he grabs the spiciest pepper too.

The teams ate their peppers and went to their matching platforms. Cut to the highest level of the cliff as the Ex-Sisters continue climbing up to the top.

"I still can't believe we have to jump from up here." Luna complains trying not to look down.

"We wouldn't be doing that if we just ate a hotter pepper." Celestia reminded her.

"I'm sorry, we? Last time I checked, you were the one who ate the same pepper I did, so don't think I'm the only one."

"Well at least you can try going first." Celestia insisted.

"No, after you. I can handle jumping from up here. What you clearly lack is the law of gravity."

Celestia gets angry by that last thing Luna said. "You want gravity? I'll show you gravity!" She shoves Luna off the platform only for Luna to grab her and bring down too. They both scream as they plummet down the cliff and then two loud and painful splashes were heard as some teams covered their eyes or looked away from what they just saw.





Interview: Ex-Sisters but both of them have painful red bellies from those belly flops.

Luna: You will SO pay dearly for this.

Celestia: Oh just like you dragged me down the cliff?

Luna: That was after you shoved me off. This is SO not over.





"I did not expect that to happen." Sunset said looking down.

"Let's just jump now." Ringo insisted.

"Right behind you." Raffina added.

"Altogether now!" Twilight said. "On three, ready? 1...

2...

3!

All four jump off edge and land safely in the water.

Twilight resurfaces from the water. "That was so much fun! I wouldn't mind going again."

"Later, let's get the next tip." Ringo told the girls.

More teams jump off the low or middle platforms and swim to shore. They get their tips attached to the bottles of water.

Twilight(reads): Take a burro down the road...

Koopa(reading on): Until you reach the next cloudbox...

Mario: Where you next challenge awaits.

The teams get on and ride off to the next challenge.

Meanwhile on the top of the cliff...

"I simply cannot jump from up here. My hair will get messed up from this wind and the water." Rarity complains.

"But Rarity, our teammates are waiting for us. Come on!" Sweetie Belle begged.

"Not to mention the other teams are already leaving. We're the only teams left." Scootaloo added.

"How about we all hold hooves and jump altogether."  Apple Bloom suggested.

"Please big sis? If you can't jump on your own, can you at least jump with us?"

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Scootaloo said getting pumped up.

Rarity sighs in defeat. "Oh... alright, but just this once and that's it!"

"Everypony ready? We'll jump on three okay?" Apple Bloom told them.

Sweetie Belle: 1...

Rarity: 2...

Scootaloo: 3!

All four of them jump off the edge altogether. Rarity was screaming the whole way down but the crusaders didn't mind at all. They land safely in the water and swim all the way to shore.

Rarity comes up with her name soaking and messed up. "That is the last time I ever do something like THAT!"

"Aw come on Rarity, at least you survived. Besides, it's over now." Applejack said to the fashionista.

"Now we better get going. We got some serious catching up to do." Rainbow Dash tells them.

They all leave immediately as the remaining Young Princesses still search the beach for the rattle.

Baby Daisy was getting frantic. "It's not in the bushes or anywhere on the beach."

Baby Peach sighs in defeat. "I'm running out of ideas to where it could be. It could be... Gone forever. I'm sorry."

Baby Daisy buries her face in the sand and begins breaking down into tears.

"Come on sis. We'll find it." Baby Peach assured her.

"We looked everywhere. I don't know where else it could be." She said in between tears.

"Wait! I don't think you lost it. Maybe somebody might have stolen it." Baby Peach realized.

"What? Who would steal it from me?"

"That's what we're going to find out, but we gotta do the challenge first."

Meanwhile the first ten teams arrived at the next cloudbox.

"Here's the cloudbox." Trixie said before pressing the button and reads the tip. "It's another Do-it-yourself challenge, but there's a twist.

"What do you mean?" Gilda asks.

Discord appears: Oh you'll find out. This Do-it-yourself challenge comes in a surprise twist. Whoever didn't do the tower challenge in the Super Mario Bros. Universe has to put on blindfold while their partner guides them to the piñata and avoid dangerous obstacles along the way. Once teams reach the piñata, they still keep the blindfold on trying to whack it open and then, they must bring their bag of candy down that path to the finish line for today's leg. Last team to arrive, could end up like the other eliminated teams, not on television. Get it?

Luigi then figured it out. "So does that mean..."

Mario nodded. "Yep I'll be guiding you."

The teams get into starting positions and the loners wearing the blindfolds get ready.

"Now remember Luna, we're on the same team, so don't trying anything funny." Celestia warns her.

"Oh relax, I wouldn't think of doing something like that." Luna said unenthusiastically.

Waluigi is seen putting on his blindfold. "Alright, blindfold on, seeing good!" Zoom in to see his blindfold slightly lifted under his eyes.





(Interview: Sneaky Twins)

Wario: We may have no allies, but we still have tricks on our side.

Waluigi: And since those siblings aren't anywhere near us, we can win this race.

Wario: Doing what we do best.

Waluigi: Cheat.





(Interview: Musicians)

Octavia: Of all the challenges, why did it have to be this one? My partner can barely speak so I'm not sure how I'm going to do this challenge. We're clearly at a big disadvantage.





"Now walk five steps straight ahead then turn right." Luna said on the bullhorn.

Celestia starts walking slowly. "Better not be a trick. Whoa!" She turns right and fell into a pond soaking her completely. Luna couldn't help but chuckle at this.





(Interview: Luna)

Luna: I want to win but she still broke up our friendship on television. Not to mention shoving me off the edge and giving me a belly flop, so I'll get her back by any means necessary.





"Now take a right after three steps, then go straight ahead." Raffina instructed.

Ringo obviously obeyed those instructions. "Alright."

"After two more steps, stop! There's a cactus in front of you, go around it."

The next five teams arrive and get their tips as well.

"Alright sugarcube, hope don't mind me guiding you." Applejack said.

"Will you be fine with guiding you?" Rarity asked Spike.

"I'll be fine." Spike told her.

Waluigi can see just a little. "Rock up ahead, so I'll just go around it."

Twilight guides Sunset using the bullhorn too. "Sunset, go left and then go straight ahead until I say stop."

"Okay." Sunset said to her.

Octavia is walking blindly since she is having trouble. "Okay, no directions but I can still handle this. I'll just put one hoof ahead and feel any obstacles." She keeps walking straight ahead but failed to notice the pond coming up.) So far, so good. This won't be a problem at- Yipe!" Splashes into a pond. "Never mind."

"Now go right!" Luna told Celestia.

Celestia goes in the opposite direction.

"Hey! I said right!"

"Yeah right, I'm not falling that again. OW!" (Zoom to reveal Celestia bumped into a cactus) These needles are so pointy.

Luna couldn't help by giggling at this. "I warned you."

Gilda is guiding Trixie to the end. "Go right, then left, then straight."

"How many steps?" Trixie asked.

"I don't know. Four?"

Trixie went left but crashed into a rock in her path. "Hey! You should have been more specific."

"Probably should have done it yourself."

Pinkie was getting close to the piñata. "I must be getting close to the piñata."

"Almost there, just go straight ahead ten more steps then stop when I say." Cheese said to Pinkie.

"You know I could go for some candy too." Paratroopa said.

"Hey bud, focus." Koopa said from a distance. "Ya gotta lead me to the piñata."

"Oh sorry about that, go that way. Paratroopa points left.

Koopa goes to the right. "This way?"

"No wait-"

Koopa gets incased in a large gelatin sculpture.

Paratroopa chuckled nervously: "My bad, I meant the OTHER way, sorry!"

"Dude!"

"Oh come on, it's just gelatin."

"You think I don't know that? I just got stuck inside of it." Koopa said still inside it.

Pinkie Pie saw this and head in his direction. "Ooh, I wanna try that too. It's really good."

Koopa gives it a try. "Actually, it's not that bad as a matter of fact. It's quite tasty."

Paratroopa calls out to him. "Could you save some for me?"

"After we finish the challenge. Please be more specific on directions this time."

"Take three steps to the left and go straight ahead until I say when." Applejack instructed.

Apple Bloom obeyed her instructions. "Got it."

"Go about three paces left and if you take more than that, you've go to far. Stop after three steps." Raffina continues giving Ringo the directions.

"Ok." Ringo felt the whacking stick on her foot. "This must be a stick for the piñata."

"Which is right in front of you. Swing!" Raffina called out to her.

After ten tries the piñata breaks open, and a bunch of candy drops on the ground.

Ringo takes the blindfold off. "I'll get the bag and fill it up."

Sweetie Belle is a near the midpoint. "Hey Button, can you speak a little louder? I can't even hear you."

"Oh, well try going left." He told her.

Sweetie Belle went that way and fell into a puddle.

"Next time, tell me how much steps before I hit another obstacle or fall in it." Sweetie Belle reminded him.

"Sorry."

"Stop. Piñata's in front of you." Mario called out to Luigi.

"Thanks for guiding me safely." Luigi said.

Waluigi sees the piñata and grabs the stick. "So far so good. It's in the bag."

(Octavia is seen bumping into a cactus.)

"Ow! Ow! Who's bright idea was it to put a cactus in this challenge?" Octavia asked trying to get some needles off.

Raffina saw this and decided she needed help. "Uh, excuse me there. I can help you out if you want. I see how you're struggling with this challenge, but allow me to lend a hand. All you gotta do is go three paces left, and then ten paces straight."

Octavia decided not to question it and did what she said. "Whoever you are, please don't be joking."





(Interview: Schoolgirls)

Raffina: I had to give her some help. She was really struggling with this challenge.

Ringo: And her partner could not speak, so helping her was a good idea. Good call!





The Young Princesses were at the top of the cliff shaking in fear.

"This challenge is so dangerous." Baby Peach said shaking in fear.

Baby Daisy was also shaking with fear. "I know, I'm scared too, but just remember we need to find out who took my rattle."

"Hold me?"

"Only if you hold me."

They hug each other tightly and jump off together.

Cut back to challenge number two as five more players reach their piñatas.

"OW!" Celestia cried in pain. She is seen bumping into a tree and a coconut falls on her head. 

Luna is seen chuckling again. "This is too much fun."

"Celestia, it's your faithful student here." The voice on the bullhorn was Twilight. "I just want to let you know that I can't see you get tortured like this any longer. Go two paces to the right, and continue five paces straight ahead.

Luna just face hoofed. "Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. A shame it had to end."

Celestia reaches the pinata. "Finally, at least somepony knows the how to guide me."

Applejack gathers the candy in the bag. "I'll gather up this candy. Head to the finish line and ah'll catch up with you later."

Apple Bloom leaves as Bowser Jr noticed Apple Bloom leaving.

"We can't let that little filly beat us to the finish line." Bowser Jr told the Tricksters.

Gilda decided to ignore it. "Not to worry, it's just her. She can't win without her partner."

"Which means we can still win this leg." Bowser realized.

Both of them get their bags filled up and leave.

Applejack finished bagging it up. "All done, now to catch up with my sister."

As she left, the Mario Bros., Pen Pals, Schoolgirls, Ex-Sisters, and Wonderbolts, gather up their candy from the piñata and bag it up.

"Any other obstacles?" Koopa asked.

"Just one more, it's right in front of you." Paratroopa tells him.

"Where?" Koopa stops as he felt something in front of him. "Is this a tree?"

"Filled with coconuts. Go around it."

Scootaloo is getting close to the piñata. "How much longer Rainbow Dash?"

Rainbow Dash keeps talking to her from the bullhorn. "You should be at the piñata, just take about four more steps straight and the stick should be right in front of you."

Scootaloo did so and felt the stick in front of her. "Finally, it felt like forever."

Waluigi and Wario get their bag filled up and head towards the finish line.

"Let's get going!" Wario said.

Skip ahead to the finish line, as Apple Bloom steps on the rug.

"Um Apple Bloom, where's your sister?" Fluttershy asked the filly.

"She's on her way." Apple Bloom replied. " "At least I hope she gets here in time."

The Bowsers and Tricksters reach the finish line with their bags.

"Apparently, she wasn't fast enough." Bowser Jr said to her.

"Looks like we win today." Trixie said with a proud look on her face.

"Not necessarily." Discord interrupted.

Bowser raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"Since both of you stole something valuable from another team, I'm giving both of you a ten minute penalty." Discord told them both.

(A clock with 10 minutes appears.)

Gilda smile faded. "That is so not fair."

"Serves you both right." Apple Bloom said to them.

Bowser Jr rolled his eyes. "Whatever, your teammate still isn't even here. I don't see any chance of you winning this leg."

Applejack just arrived. "What was it y'all were saying about winnin' this leg?"

"What an unfortunate turn of events! Apple Siblings, you're the winners of this leg." Discord said to the Siblings.

The Apple Siblings cheer before embracing themselves in a hug.

"That's not all." Fluttershy continued. "You also get to enjoy a Mexican feast in first class to the next destination.

Discord VO: So with first place already taken, more teams try to finish up the challenge to avoid coming in last.

Octavia filled up the bag and Vinyl was coming over. "I was sure we were going to lose, but I'm glad we had some help on our side.

Vinyl agreed as she nodded.

The Young Princesses were riding the burro to the next challenge.

"I just don't understand who would steal your rattle." Baby Peach thought.

"Well I just want to know who did." Baby Daisy said wanting to know. "Why would somebody do something like this?"

"It could be that someone has it out for us, but I wonder who?"

Meanwhile the clock is now at 4:18, 4:17, 4:16, 4:15.

Bowser Jr was getting frustrated. "Ugh, our ten minutes has to be up now."

Discord looks at the timer. "Nope, not yet."

The Schoolgirls arrives at the finish line.

"Ladies, first to finish the next challenge, but second to arrive. What happened?" Discord asks the girls.

"One team struggled with the previous challenge, so we had to help them out. We don't mind second though." Raffina responded with a shrug.

Twilight and Sunset arrive at the finish line.

"That was nice, I actually did the same thing too." Twilight added.

Discord continues announcing the placements. "Third place for the Pen Pals."

A few more teams get to the finish line where their placements are said.

Discord VO: 4th. (Wonderbolts), 5th. (Mario Bros.), 6th. (Ex-Sisters).

The twins now reach the finish line.

"Twins, you're number seven." Discord told them.

The twins high five each other. 

"Yes!" Waluigi said.

Discord continues. "But because your partner slightly lifted the blindfold over his eyes in the second challenge, I'm giving you guys a thirty minute penalty for cheating.

(A clock with 30 minutes appears.)

"Aww no!" Wario complains.

They go ahead and sit with the Tricksters and Bowsers waiting for their penalty to end.

Bowser smirks while glaring at them. "Sucks to be you two."

"Whatever, you guys got penalized too." Waluigi said pointing to them both.

The clock is now at 0:03, 0:02, 0:01, 0:00. Pretty soon, the buzzer goes off.

"Bowsers, Tricksters, your penalties are up. You tie for seventh." Discord announced to them.

Bowser shrugged since he doesn't mind this time. "Well I would be mad, but our old buddies got what they deserved."

"Glad we're not you guys. See ya!" Gilda teased.

Fluttershy comes up to the four of them. "That's not all, whatever you took from that team, both of you are coming with me to give it back to them and apologize."

"Fine! Fine!" Bowser Jr said.

Cut back to the previous challenge as the Young Princesses finally arrive at the second challenge.

"We're so far behind." Baby Daisy said.

Baby Peach is looking at the tip. "Actually, this will be pretty challenging, because you have to get to a piñata."

"That sounds pretty fun."

Baby Peach continued reading. "Blindfolded."

"What?"

"Don't worry though, I'll be guiding you."

"But there's only two teams left and us." Baby Daisy tells her partner. "It'll take a miracle to pull this off."

Four more teams arrive at the finish line.

Discord VO: 9th. (Pegasisters), 10th. (Party Ponies), 11th. (Musicians), 12th. (Koopas).

Koopa: We would've been here sooner, but my partner here was eating the gelatin I ran into.

Paratroopa: I would gotten more, but he pulled me away when I was halfway done.





The Twins wait as the clock is now at 7:12, 7:11, 7:10, 7:09.

Wario was getting impatient. "Is it over yet?

Discord shook his head no. "Not even close. Three more teams are left unchecked. If they get here in time, then you two may be out of luck."

Waluigi smirked. "I'm not scared of those last teams still out there. I dare them to try and beat us."

Another team reaches the finish line.

"Rarity, what took you so long?" Fluttershy questioned her.

"It's a long story." Rarity replied.

"It might be best not to ask." Spike added.

"I'm not going to, but you're in 13th place." Discord told them.

Go back to the previous challenge as the last two teams try finishing up the challenge.

"How much more steps do I have to take?" Sweetie Belle asked again.

"Uh, just take two steps to the left, and go straight ahead for about six more steps then you're there." Button answered.

Sweetie Belle felt the stick in front of her and starts whacking the piñata.

She gathers up the candy from the pinata and bagged it up.

Button meets up with her. "Come on, we got to get to the finish line."

Baby Peach was getting frantic. "Uh go left, and then go right."

She follows those instructions until she bumps into a boulder.

"Sorry!" Baby Peach apologized.

"I'm alright, it wasn't pretty hard." Baby Daisy assured to her.

The Twins are still waiting for their penalty to end as it is now at 0:03, 0:02, 0:01, 0:00.

(A buzzer is heard.)

"Okay, now your penalty is over. You take 14th place." Discord told the twins.

"I knew we'd survive." Waluigi said.

As they leave the next team steps on the finish line with their bag.

"How did we do? What place did we get?" Sweetie Belle asked.

"Sweetie Belle and Button Mash..." Discord began.

Both of them start getting nervous.

Discord continues. "I'm sorry, but you guys are... second last! AKA 15th place, which means you are still in the race."

"Really?" Button asked.

"That's great!" Sweetie Belle said.

Fluttershy turns to Discord. "I'm going to go find the last team and tell them the bad news. Both of you come with me now!" She points at the Browsers and the Tricksters.

They follow her back to the last challenge.

Meanwhile, at the last challenge...

Baby Daisy is still walking with the blindfold. "I must be getting close. Which way is next?"

"Straight ahead six paces and then a right." Baby Peach tells her.

She goes in those directions until she bumps into something soft and furry.

"What the? What is this? It feels like something soft, furry, and... Alive?"

"Excuse me, but that's my face you're touching."

She takes off her blindfold and saw she was touching Fluttershy. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry."

"That's alright, but I just came to tell you both that you have been eliminated from the race."

"Awww. Just when were doing ok." Baby Peach said.

"Before you two go, there's something somebody wants to give back to you." Fluttershy nudges Trixie on her side.

Trixie walks forward and took the rattle from underneath her hat and gave it back to her. "Here, just be glad I didn't scratch it or nothing."

"Ahem. I want you to apologize." Fluttershy told her sternly.

Gilda sighed as she rolled her eyes. "Fine, sorry we stole your rattle."

Fluttershy gives the Bowsers the stare. "You guys too."

"Fine, we're sorry too." Bowser Jr grumbled.

"What he said." Bowser added dryly.

Fluttershy goes up to them before patting their heads. "Good luck with your lives both of you." She and the other two teams leave.

"I can't believe it was them the whole time!" Baby Daisy said.

"Those two are nothing but jerks." Baby Peach stated. "I didn't think they were the ones who stole your rattle, but let's go."

Baby Peach: We didn't win, but I'm proud of us. To be honest, I didn't think we last long.

Baby Daisy: I kinda thought we'd last up to a week.

Baby Peach: I was thinking a day.

Baby Daisy: To our surprise, we lasted longer than our future selves. No offense.

(The scene ends and it shows them walking on the beach and during sundown.)

Baby Peach: We came a really long way too. I hope those meanies get what they deserve.

Baby Daisy: Not to worry, I'm pretty sure they'll get what's coming to them. I'm just glad to have my rattle back.
