Regular Show in Equestria Episode 4 The Double Date That Never Happened by Evan Carlton Written on August 31, 2012
Last time on Regular Show in Equestria just moments after returning to the park where they both live and work Mordecai the bluejay and Rigby the raccoon got a letter from Twilight Sparkle telling them that she would teleport The Cutie Mark Crusaders to the park so that Mordecai and Rigby could babysit the three little fillies for the day. While babysitting The CMC Sweetie Belle finally got her cutie mark and Applebloom and Scootaloo played video games. Then Twilight came to pick up The CMC and take them back to Ponyville in the land of Equestria but not before getting a hug and kiss from Mordecai. What happens next let's find out right now?
A few days after they babysat all three members of The Cutie Mark Crusaders Mordecai and Rigby used Skips the yeti's portal several times to hang out with their girlfriends, the other four members of The Mane Six, all three members of The Cutie Mark Crusaders and Spike the dragon.
Mordecai and Rigby were about to tell all their pony friends and Spike "listen there's something that we got to tell you", but Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy interrupted them when Twilight and Fluttershy told Mordecai and Rigby "let's go on a double date what do you say boyfriends?"
Mordecai and Rigby told the two mares "ok sure but it will have to wait until tomorrow we kind of came here without permission from our boss Benson he's probably getting pretty mad I think we better leave."
Twilight and Fluttershy told Mordecai and Rigby as they waved goodbye to them with their left front hooves "ok bye see you tomorrow."
However upon returning to the park they said a very mad Benson who asked them "you went to Equestria without my permission didn't you, listen we might secretly be bronies who haven't told the ponies or Ponyville and Canterlot that in our world they are nothing more than fictional cartoon characters and I get that you guys are going out with Fluttershy and Twilight but as your boss you aren't allowed to leave or go anywhere without my permission you got that?"
Mordecai and Rigby told the talking gumball machine "ok then can we please go on our double date tomorrow please?"
Benson who was calmed down now told Mordecai and Rigby "tell you what if you finish all your work around the park today then I will allow both of you to go on your double date deal?"
Rigby shook his claws with Benson's hand and Mordecai shook it with his wing and as they were shaking his hand they told him "deal."
They then finished all their jobs for the day, went to bed then the next day they set the lever on the portal to Ponyville and stepped through.
Mordecai was on his way to Twilight's library treehouse and Rigby was on his way to Fluttershy's cottage but upon setting foot in Ponyville Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Rarity galloped up to Mordecai and Rigby while Spike ran and told them "i'm afraid that your double date has been cancelled Fluttershy and Twilight are hurt come on let's go to Ponyville Urgent Care Trauma Center."
Mordecai and Rigby asked in a worried tone "trauma center what happened are Fluttershy and Twilight ok?"
Rarity told Mordecai and Rigby in the trademark British accent that she talks in "we don't rightfully know darlings they were found in the middle of the night covered in blood and bruises we think somepony or someone might have done this to them we don't know who it could be but several of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna's Royal Guards and Mayor Mare are on the case."
Applejack told them in the trademark southern accent that all members of the apple family talk in "we went and brought them to the hospital last night, we were going to go there again this morning but we knew that both of ya'll were coming today so we waited until you showed up."
Pinkie Pie and Spike said at the same time "I hope they're alright."
Rainbow Dash said as she flew very fast with her pegasus wings "come on everypony plus Spike, Mordecai and Rigby let's hurry we're almost there."
Then the other four members of The Mane Six, Spike, Mordecai and Rigby arrived at Ponyville Urgent Care Trauma Center where Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle opened their eyes for the first time today and said "oww hi Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Spike."
Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle then pointed to Mordecai and Rigby with their non broken right front hooves and asked the other four members of The Mane Six and Spike "who is this talking bluejay and talking raccoon?"
Knowing that Fluttershy and Twilight didn't remember them and their relationship was pretty much over Mordecai and Rigby told the unicorn mare with a lavender fur coat and a bluish purple mane and tail that has streaks of pink and purple on it and the pegasus mare with a yellow fur coat and a long whitish pink mane and tail "you probably don't remember us because we just met recently but we're also you're friends, here let us put these flowers in a vase and give you these chocolates to eat when you feel better."
Twilight and Fluttershy said at the same time "wow chocolates and flowers are you sure you guys aren't our boyfriends?"
Since they knew that Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle didn't remember them and probably never would they lied by saying "yeah we're just really good friends who want you to get better soon."
Fluttershy and Twilight told them "well thanks we hope that we'll see you guys again soon by the way what are your names again?"
Mordecai told Twilight "my name's Mordecai."
Rigby told Fluttershy "my name's Rigby."
Fluttershy told Rigby in the soft almost quiet voice that she talks in "thanks Rigby you're a good friend."
Twilight told Mordecai "you're a good friend too Mordecai."
For the rest of the day Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Spike, Mordecai and Rigby hanged out with their injuired friends in the trauma center and do to the extent of their injuires and the fact that they had amnesia about Mordecai and Rigby Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle were let out of the trauma center within a period of one week to two weeks.
The story ends as Margaret the robin and Eileen the mole step out of a dark corner and say "Fluttershy and Twilight took our boyfriends away from us so we beat them up and took them away from them in the form of their memories, now Mordecai and Rigby can once again be our's." The End.
