Applejack had just slipped on the stairs from one of Big Macueltosh's tissues that he left on the stairs and bumped herself a bit. "I wonder who I should tell about this?!" she wondered aloud, then got a good idea. "I'll tell my sister's friend Scootaloo!"

She walks into the kitchen where Scootaloo is sometimes at but doesn't see her so she walks out the backdoor and sees Scootaloo sitting on the back steps. Scootaloo is also orange like APplejack and since they have a lot in common they are pretty good friends and often talk to each other adn have a positive opinion of each other.
