Applejack had slipped on the stairs from one of Big Macueltosh's tissues that he left on the stairs and bumped herself a bit. "I wonder who I should tell about this?!" she wondered aloud, then got a good idea. "I'll tell Twilight Sparkle!" 

She got up and left the house through the front door, and closed the front door behind her. Then she walked down the path in front of her house that is made of dirt and is worn down from many ponies walking but also carts sometimes. Walking through the orchard, Applejack had an urge to kick the trees and collect apples which is her special talent denoted by her 'cutie mark' of 3 apples, but she didn't and instead breathed through her nose, the air smelling like apples and that made her happy. 

She smiled because she was happy, and walked a bit slower but also had a spring in her step. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining on her. "Thank you for the sun, Celestia," she commented offhoofedly, glad for the sun and also happy that she lived in Equestria.
