" Then a few days layer I was officially let out of my body cast" Apple bloom said as she continued her story." However I had to stay an extra few days until I could walk slightly, but during my time in the hospital I learned that Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were brought back home due to similar situations at their school's. I was happy to know that they were alive and well and I was even more happy after Granny Smith announced that I was gonna come back home to canterlot as well. I was so happy to know that in a few days I would officially be reunited with my best friends"
As she continued to talk Scoots and Sweetie Belle couldn't help but smile, saying to themselves how happy they were to have such a wonderful friend and Spoon's felt lucky as well to be friends with the group as well.
Back home and redemption
The next day I was given my crutches and was officially checked out of the hospital. We then went back to my Aunt and Uncles place and collected my things and after saying goodbye to Braeburn we made our way to the airport. During the plane ride I couldn't help but shed tear's of joy knowing that I would soon be reunited with my friends and that I was together with my family again. After an hour flight we soon arrived back in Canterlot, as i limped off the terminal I found Sweetie Belle and Apple bloom waiting for me who were quick to gently bring me into a group hug. It felt so good to be reunited with my best friend's and I vowed to never make a big mistake like Anon a Miss again. On our first week back our families got together to discuss how we would be educated for the remainder of our freshman year as homeschooling would be too much of a hassle and online classes would be too expensive, so our sister's decided to try and pursue Principle Celestia and Vice principle Luna to revoke our expulsion and let us come back to Canterlot high. After hearing what we've been through for these past 4 1/2 months they agreed to think it over. After a week we were officially welcome back to Canterlot high but some conditions had to be made, such as we weren't allowed to have our smartphones on campus and computer time had to be monitored but we didn't mind as long as we were together again. Also vice principle Luna had given us a security escort for the past few days but it was quickly withdrawn as non of the student's did anything to us, as it turn's out they completely moved on from the Anon a Miss incident and no longer were out for our head's after they heard what we've been through 4 /12 month's ago. We found it hard to believe at first until lunch time, when I was making my way to our usual table I ended up slipping off one of my crutches and fell on the floor as my tray of food fell right on top of me. Luckily i didn't land on my broken leg but I still felt embarrassed being covered in food, but to my surprise non of the student's pointed and laughed at me it was just silence. Then suddenly Gilda and her gang walked towards me, I was nervous at first but shocked when Gilda did something me and no one else ever expected from her.............................she helped me up, and even asked me if I was alright. And I told her that I was ok and I was really grateful that she was helping me despite what I did to her , then Lightning dust walked up and grabbed my crutches for me as Cirrus Cloud helped wipe the food off of me. After I got my crutches back I thanked Gilda and her crew for the help and she replied " no prob" and she even asked if we wanted to sit with them which we politely accepted, and Lightning even bought me another tray of food. After that me and the girl's realized that the student body really did forgive us for everything last Christmas, and it warmed my heart knowing that we got all our friend's back along with some new ones.
back to the present
"So from that point on we were genuinely forgiven by everyone in the student body, I tell ya I was so relieved that nobody had no hard feelings towards us anymore" Bloom said as she was about to wrap up her story." Principle Celestia even decided to revoke the small conditions she made for us after we proved that we could be trusted with having our phones on campus and that we took computer time seriously, and we soon befriended Spoon's here after realizing the reason why she bullied us as well and were happy to have a new friend to our little group"
As Bloom continued Spoons smiled warmly at the fact her former enemy now thinks of her as one of her best friend's unlike Diamond Tiara.
" During our first week back we decided to try apologizing to you again, but after Spoons informed us about what you did to Pinkie, fluttershy and the others when they tried apologizing so we decided to give you space" Apple bloom said. " That is until the infamous Camp Everfree trip. At first you remained hostile and distant from everyone the whole week, but on the final day of camp after you saved our lives from the corrupted Glorisia you were all happy and ongoing no longer cold and hostile. When we got back from camp we were suspicious at the fact that your attitude changed drastically and we wondered why you were so happy. Even though there was a possibility you forgiven everyone since 4 1/2 month's seemed like an appropriate time to forgive someone, but we didn't hear anything about you forgiving everyone and you and even our sister's didn't once mention Anon a Miss. So one day we decided to investigate, during study hall we overheard our sisters mentioning something about Anon a Miss and we confronted them. That's when they told us the whole thing about the memory erasing stone that wiped your memory of the infamous incident last Christmas. We were both shocked at the fact our sisters used a magic stone to erase her memory, but honestly we couldn't blame them for taking a drastic measure like that especially with how you treated theme throughout the 4 1/2 month's whenever they tried apologizing. So we willingly agreed to keep it a secret as well. But then 9 month's later your memory soon came back and here we are now"
"Yeah we are" Sunset said quietly. After hearing out Bloom's story she started to recollect the events that have transpired since last year as she took a sip of her Frappuccino. The Anon a Miss incident, her friends betraying her, nearly killing them whenever they tried apologizing, the Camp Everfree incident, the stone erasing half her memories, her memory returning, and reconciling with her friends. As these event's clouded her she questions herself what would happen if something like this happened again and she was framed for it? Would they believe her and learn from their mistakes or not?
"Well thank you guy's for telling me your side's" Sunset said trying to act calm and collected." But before I reach my verdict I got one more thing to ask you Bloom"
"Of course Sunset, what do you want to know?" Bloom asked.
"What happened to your Uncle and Braeburn?" Sunset asked. " Last I heard the two of em were arrested"
After hearing Sunset's question she hesitated to answer that after what had happened to them, but she knew there was no running away from this. If she was gonna make amends with sunset then she had to let some skeletons out of her closet even if it meant rewinding those horrible event's in her head all over again.
"Well" She began." After I was released from the hospital and brought back home to Canterlot, Granny Smith made a long phone call to a family friend in Texas who was also a deputy. She informed him about how my uncle treated me , Braeburn, and his wife. So long story short my Uncle was soon arrested but he wasn't alone, Braeburn still felt guilty about being forced to beat me that he got himself arrested as well but he didn't stay too long. After the judge found out that Braeburn was forced by his dad to do it and that he regretted everything he did to me ,he was released after only two day's, hehe even though I told him hundred's of times that I forgave him and that it wasn't his fault he still sends me and the family apology letter's. But as for my uncle he was given 15 years in prison for both child and spousal abuse, and my aunt officially filed for divorce as soon as his sentence was given. I hoped that time behind bar's would turn my uncle back to the nice guy I knew when I was five, but it was never gonna happen now"
"What do you mean Apple bloom?" Sunset replied.
".....................................................He's dead" Bloom said as tear's started to form in her eye's while Sunset looked in shocked at her answer"
"Your Uncle's dead?" Sunset said in a shocked tone. " What happened Bloom?"
" A week after his sentence was given, my uncle was sitting alone in the prison mess hall eating his lunch until some inmates walked up to him" Apple bloom continued with tears forming more and more." They started to tease and mock him about his upcoming divorce from my aunt and his brewery shutting down, at first he tried to ignore them but when one of them who was gonna be released next week teased that he'll take "good care" of my aunt once he's out of there. My uncle finally snapped and charged toward the inmate who made that remark and a prison fight soon started, at first my uncle had the upper hand and was two seconds away from strangling the inmate who made that comment, but suddenly one of his friends snuck up behind my uncle and stabbed him in the back multiple times with a makeshift shiv. The guard's soon walked over and broke up the brawl while restraining the inmate who stabbed my uncle. They soon came over to my uncle and the inmate he almost strangled to death and tended to each of em, luckily the other inmate wasn't too injured but my uncle's stab wound's were pretty severe and that he was losing large amount's of blood. By the time paramedic's arrived it was already too late and.......................my uncle passed away on the cold ground. His funeral was quiet, there was hardly anyone in the eulogy as my aunt no longer wanted anything to do with my uncle, Braeburn was scared too scared to attend as he felt looking at his dad's casket would haunt him with memories of his sin's. The only ones who were there were his former coworkers who showed the least bit of sympathy for him. Then a week after the funeral my aunt landed a job at a tech company and Braeburn decided to takes some training when he graduates high school next year so that he can one day take over his dad's brewery and not make the same mistakes as him"
As she finished her story Bloom began to weep as Sunset watched in silence. She had no idea the poor girl has been through so much throughout the Anon a Miss incident, AJ hating her gut's, her brother nearly tearing her limb from limb, getting sent away, her uncle abusing her and Braeburn, her depression through it all, and her tragic suicide attempt, and now her uncles death. As she looked at her broken form she couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor girl.
"And worst of all , his death was my fault" Apple bloom sniffed.
"Bloom.................." Sunset began but was interrupted.
"NO SUNSET!!!!!!!!!" Bloom boomed." This whole thing WAS my fault!!!! I'm the one who came up with this stupid Anon a Miss shit in the first place and look where it's almost got me. I nearly lost everything from my little plan, My sister, my family, friend's, and my reputation. And worst of all I dragged my friend's into this whole mess as well and they almost lost everything as well. Who knows what would have happened if we continued with this whole thing, the whole school would have been a literal blood bath. And look at what we almost did to you, we tricked our sister's into believing you were only pretending to be their friend and that you were only using them to spread their darkest secret's and we made it believable. We hurt you so badly Sunset and we can never make up for it, If you have committed suicide I would never forgive myself. I should have been the one to get abandoned and beaten not you, I'm a terrible excuse of a sister and a friend. If my Ma and Pa were alive right now they'd be so disappointed in me. I hurt you so much Sunset over my petty jealousy, I should have done the right thing and confronted my sister about my feelings but NO I chose the coward's route and tried to ruin your life to have my sister all to myself like a spoiled brat. I'm so sorry for everything Sunset, I know you'll never forgive me for everything but please forgive my friend's I'm the one who started this whole mess I'm the only one who deserves to suffer in your hand's. So just get on with it already strike me down like the evil little bitch I AM!!!!!!!!!!!"
With nothing more to say Apple bloom just held her head low and cried her eye's out as the other's watched their friend break down into an emotional mess. But no one felt more bad for the young Sophomore more than sunset, While she was secretly still disappointed at the three of em for nearly ruining her reputation she couldn't help but feel sorry for them as well. Even though they messed up she knew that they regretted everything they've done to her just like Flash and their sisters. After a long while Sunset got off from her seat and sat next to the crying girl and brought her into a loving embrace which she was quick to return as she cried on the fiery teen's shoulder.
"SHHHhhhhhhh It's ok Bloom, It's ok" Sunset said warmly." I forgive you all of you" After a moment Bloom calmed down a bit after hearing sunset's verdict and was visibly shocked at her answer.
"You forgive us?" Bloom sniffed." Why?"
"Because Bloom, while a part of me is disappointed at you for nearly ruining my reputation just because of some petty jealousy and worst of all dragging your friend's into the whole mess as well" sunset replied." But after hearing you guy's out, I know you three as well as Flash are truly sorry for what you've done to me and after what you've been through from your brief separation I think you three have been punished enough"
As Sunset made her statement, Bloom and her friends breathed a sigh of relief.
"BUT" Sunset continued sternly." I want you three to promise me a few things"
"Sure Sunset what is it?" Scootaloo asked as Sunset written out her orders for the three of em.
"One I want you guy's to promise me, the next time you feel left out or depressed to talk to your sisters and me don't go using any drastic measures to get their attention" Sunset began." Two I want you guy's to write what you did to me to Twilight and to apologize as well, and that goes for you too Flash. And three I need you three to look after things for us cause me, Flash, and the girls are graduating next year and we need someone to look after the school and to ensure something like this never happen's again. And don't worry me and the girl's will be sure to train you guy's to be prepared for any magic mishap that might happen in or outside of school. While you guy's think you don't have magic in ya, it's not completely true. Deep down me and the girl's know you got the magic of friendship inside of you, you just haven't fully embraced it yet and me and the girl's are gonna help you three as well as Silver spoon here to activate your magical abilities. Do you guy's understand?"
"We understand sunset and thank you" The three of em said in unisen before walking over and bringing Sunset into a group hug which she quickly returned, and Spoon's and flash joined into the group hug as well as Mr cake and Mrs Cake who just walked in from the back stared at the group proudly for reconciling with Sunset. During the hug Sunset couldn't help but shed a tear, while what they all did was wrong she know's deep down that they still care about them and regret everything they've done and while the memories of this horrendous incident might not go away for a while she know's that they'll overcome this one day and look back at Anon a Miss and laugh. After a few minute's the group hug ended and sunset spoke again.
" You know" She began." I'm meeting the girl's at the mall after this, would you guy's like to join us?"
The five friends then thought it over before reaching a conclusion.
"Sure I'm game" Scootaloo said.
"Me too'' Spoons replied
"The mall sound's nice" Sweetie bell said excepting Sunset's invitation.
"I'm in, i was actually planning on doing some shopping there today anyway's" Flash said
"Sound's good thanks Sunset" Bloom replied while showing her gratitude/
"Awesome" Sunset said happy they agreed to spend the day at the mall with her and her friend's." But first let's not let these baked good's and our drink's go to waste. Yo Mr and Mrs cake can we get some to go containers over here?"
"You got it Sunset" The couple said as they went back to grab some to go containers.
After a few seconds the group collected their leftovers and said goodbye to Mr and Mrs cake before making their way out of the cafe to head over to the mall to meet up with the others. These month's event's have been insane many mistakes were made but these can be overcome no matter how hard it might be they'll get through this together and one day hopefully they'll look back at this whole incident and have a good laugh about it like true friends.
