In stadium D was Shadow who was ready for his last battle, if he won this he would be among the top 32, he only had to beat a boy by the name of Blaze Honou from Lavaridge town and Shadow had heard about this guy, he like to use fire Pokémon. Blaze was wearing a red t-shirt with a pair of red pants, even his shoes was red. He must really like the color red.
The battle was about to begin, and Blaze was up first, he threw two Pokéball’s in the air. “Come out Typhlosion and Talonflame.” Out came the volcano and scorching Pokémon ready for battle.
Shadow hadn’t seen those two before, so he took out his dex.
Typhlosion the volcano Pokémon. Typhlosion obscures itself behind a shimmering heat haze that it creates using its intensely hot flames. This Pokémon creates blazing explosive blasts that burns everything to cinder.
Then the bird.
Talonflame the scorching Pokémon. in the fever of an exciting battle, it showers ember from the gaps between its feathers and takes to the air.
Both of Blaze’s Pokémon look tough but Shadow knew which Pokémon he should use, he had plan it. He put away his dex and took out two of his own Pokéball’s and threw them in the air. “Let’s do this Floatzel and Druddigon.” Out came the sea weasel and cave Pokémon ready for battle.
The battle begin and Shadow decided to go first. “Floatzel use water gun on Typhlosion, Druddigon use dragon claw on Talonflame.” Floatzel attack with water while Druddigon’s claws started to glow as he ran towards the bird.
Blaze was ready. “Typhlosion use flamethrower, Talonflame fly up.” Talonflame flew up with made Druddigon to miss. Flames came out from Typhlosion mouth and the attack meet Floatzel, the attacks created an explosion.
When the smoke was gone they could continue. “Druddgion, use dragon claw on Typhlosion.” The cave Pokémon wasn’t that far from the volcano Pokémon so managed to hit him, Typhlosion was hurt.
Blaze had to act. “Quickly Typhlosion, use flamethrower on Druddgion.” The volcano Pokémon open its mouth and fired fire from it hitting Druddgion right in the face, it didn’t do that much damage but is still hurt. “Talonflame use steel wing on Floatzel.” The scorching Pokémon’s wings became metal as he started to fly towards his opponent.
Shadow couldn’t help but smile. “Use aqua jet.” Water surrounded Floatzel as he rocket towards Talonflame who had no change to move, the attack was to fast. Talonflame was hit right in the stomach and he fell on the ground. “Druddgion, use sludge bomb on Typhlosion.” Blaze’s eyes widen when he heard that, he didn’t know that Druddgion knew that move. Druddgion open its mouth and fired a sludge bomb on it target, Typhlosion was hit and then the side effect kick in, Typhlosion was poison.
Ace was in trouble, his Pokémon wasn’t doing well, Shadow was just too strong, but he wasn’t going down without a fight. “Typhlosion use another flamethrower on Druddgion. Talonflame use brave bird on Floatzel.” Typhlosion attack with flames while Talonflame flew up in the air and headed straight towards the sea weasel Pokémon.
Shadow was ready for this. “Druddgion use head towards the flames and use dragon claw, Floatzel water pulse on Talonflame.” Druddgion moved through the flames and he managed to give Typhlosion an uppercut with dragon claw witch send the volcano Pokémon up in the air, Typhlosion landed on the ground hard and unconscious. Floatzel send away a ball of water towards Talonflame who was heading straight towards him, Talonflame was hit hard and like Typhlosion, the scorching Pokémon landed on the ground hard and unconscious.
“Typhlosion and Talonflame is unable to battle, Floatzel and Druddgion is the winners, the victory goes to Shadow.”
“THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS, SHADOW GOES TO THE NXT ROUND OF THE TOURNAMENT.”
The entire stadium cheered for a great match while Ace was just in shock, he didn’t stand a chance against shadow.
Shadow called back his Pokémon and started to walk out of the stadium with a smile on his face. Charizard, who was standing by the entrance had also a smile on his face. “Come on Charizard, let’s go.” Said Shadow as he walk past the flame Pokémon who just followed him.
