This was the beginning of the end for her. She knew there was no way anypony would accept her after this. This would be a cruel curse and a long life she knew. Even so she clung to her sanity after these events. These are the events that have given her a curse that no pony would want. It was a dark cloudy day and the world was just beginning anew. Nocturnalmesa, our main character, Was to be banished to a prison where she would not die of age and suffer for all eternity. This prison as it happened to be was the everfree forest. Then again there was no everfree forest at the moment so her prison would start out brand new just for her. You may be wondering " Why is she being banished to the everfree forest?" Well i can tell you why and here is 'why'. Princess Celestia grew tired of the argueing that had just insued. She cleared her throat and spoke in a young elegant voice ( Might i remind you that the world was just new and Nightmare moon was just banished to the moon aswell ) " You are to be banished to a prison that will be made for you soon enough, you will also be put into the immortal spell." Nocturnalmesa couldn't believe it. She knew she deserved this for being apart of the nightmare alliance and supporting the everlasting night. But she felt something wrong with it and convinced herself that she deservered it. She was after all, who gave Luna enough power to become Nightmare Moon. She remembered it clearly and the pain was brought back. She was at a younger age, she was sitting in the Officer quarters of the castle that was forged expecially for the alliance. Luna came in and begged Nocturnalmesa for her horn. Luna of course had her own horn but to gain enough power to assend Celestia she would need the power of anothers horn. A unicorn with sufficient practice to be like luna and celestia. Nocturnalmesa, doing her duty agreed and they began the long powerful spell for the transfer. When the spell was finished Nocturnal's unicorn horn broke off and turned into magic wich found itself in Luna. Of course breaking off the horn destroyed all of Nocturnal's magic. With that she practically died from the pain. She survived anyhow being in bedrest while she recovered and while Nightmare moon began her chaos. As soon as nocturnal woke up expecting to see the beautiful everlasting night. Instead she found herself in a cage infront of Celestia and this is where the rest of the story comes in. Celestia spoke calmly once more " For being the 2nd in command of the alliance this punishment shall be appointed to you and only you. If you take this responsibilty then the rest of the alliance shall be spared!" Nocturnal thought this over considering her freedom over the others. "I accept" she said knowing how gravely this would end.
Within enough weeks she was transported to her prison. Of course the prison she knew only lived to keep her inside. Even if it was a forest that only spread a few miles or more, it kept her prisoner because if she were to leave the immortality spell would disappear and she would grow very old. Then a new spell would replace it soon after 'the destruction spell' also very long and powerful. It pretty much speaks for itself. So with a hard heart she grew to like the everfree forest and never thought of leaving. Even through time the other members offered her escape and freedom, she denied it no matter what. Accepting the punishment and enjoying it. The alliance would disappear soon she thought, so she stopped interacting with any pony that came into the everfree forest. If they tried to get up close she would knock them out any way she could. She soon found a way to exploit the everfree forest. Even if her horn was broken, she could feel the magic placed in the everfree forest. Soon after time she mended her way through the locks of the spell and forced it into herself. Giving her powerful Unicorn abilities. She knew though that over time the spell would grow stronger in magic. She knew this because magicians and sorcerers in the royal guard of celestia added to the spell each year. Overtime of spending 600 years there. She had enough power to overthrow the world. She used it for growing the everfree forest farther and farther. Her mind also fused with the everfree forest. Knowing when someone entered and where they were, or where the inhabitants were. Eventually she decided during those 600 years to let ponies see her. She of course knocked them out and sent them out of the forest to spread rumors. Soon she was myth to even Celestia herself. She enjoyed this and soon had sufficient enough power to start destroying the destruction spell. So ironic she thought. As soon as she finished taking it off. She thought over the immortality spell. It could take her ages to refine it to work outside the everfree forest. So it did. Even as soon as she refined it. She had no desire to go outside. Soon ponies started finding her quicker and easier then before. They even came in groups. This annoyed her so she decided to let one pony and no pony else enter the everfree forest and find her.
Once she made her mind up on that, they somehow decided to stop going to the everfree forest. Finally after months on end, one of the ponyville inhabitants, or a passerbyer who caught the rumor decided to enter. She quickly used the forest to gain visuals. She uses an ursamajor to scare him/her into her direction. The walk or run would take a while so Nocturnal decided to take a nap. She woke up to see a male pony staring at her and walking around her, studying her. She jumped up in freight and landed a few meters away. The male pony took that moment to say " I mean no harm! Please don't knock me out! Wait do you even speak this language? " He waited and stared at me for an answer, I took a breath and said " I speak your language and why do you come here?". He sighed and continued talking " i came here to see if the rumors were true, duh." Then i realized heard shivering and a little purple shape behind the big pony. I calmly walked over to him and asked what was behind him. He said " Oh that's just spike, we heard the rumors and got curious. By the way the name is Big Macintosh." I studied the purple little dragon and the big pony still curious about them. "So Big Macintosh and spike. How is the outside world? All i know is that some ponies built Ponyville outside my forest..". Big macintosh quickly replied " The outside world is fine and Nightmare moon was defeated isn't it great?!" Nocturnal Quickly flinched in horror. Nightmare moon was defeated?! Her horn was a waste! Even if she does have greater power now. She Let a tear almost get out but quickly pulled it back in. She sighed and said " i think its best that you two go back to ponyville, The ursas are getting hungry and they specifically prefer ponies. Its hard to control their hunger so i think you should.. Scadaddle" Spike and Big Macintosh sighed " Fine, but you better not knock us o-" It was too late i had already knocked them out and begun a transportation spell. I quickly sent them on their way. I sat down and started to cry unable to believe i wasted my unicorn horn.
A few days later they found their way into the everfree forest again, although it wasn't much of a 'they' considering it was big macintosh. he came up and asked " Can you please come with me to ponyville? i wanna prove your real.. and your not half bad looking, i wanna take you on a date..." Nocturnal jumped at the thought and thought it over. A pony was asking her out on a date, INTO PONYVILLE?! What if they knew that she was in the alliance of the night?! Well then again, she considered that having asked her out that he would accept her for this or that they had forgotten. So she decided, what the hay! "Yes i accept, When is the date?" Big macintosh jumped back not understanding how she said yes "Well we could go out tomorow i'll come here to pick you up,just be outside the forest when i get here please? and also don't knock me o-"
it was too late once more, she had knocked him out and sent him unconcious back into ponyville. She then decided that she would take as much notes as possible when she got into ponyville.
