" It all started a week after we confessed" Scootaloo said as she began her tale.
Last Year
After me and the girls confessed to our crimes on the intercom in the principles office, we could practically hear the student's and faculty raging and cursing outside. Me and the girls pretty much knew our lives were on the line literally I was even scared to step outside the hallway after we confessed to what we've done. Once we confessed , me and the girl's waited to hear what our punishment was gonna be, but we were shocked to find out the verdict between Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna..........................................We were expelled. Me and the girl's were surprised at this cause we were expecting 6 months of detention or a month suspension but they just outright expelled us, however they stated that this was for our own good since pretty much the entire school was out for blood and it would be safer to just expel us as to avoid any violent bullying from everyone in school. But that's not the worst part, instead of grounding me my adopted parents announced that I would live with my Aunt's Holiday and Lofty all the way in Philadelphia. I was shocked at this as it would mean that I would lose contact with Sweetie Belle and Apple bloom, they said that this was for my own good as I was pretty much a bounty for the student's. Even though I was expelled that wouldn't stop any of em from attacking me outside of school and they figured this was also a proper punishment to teach me about hurting others out of some petty jealousy. I apologized like a hundred times and begged them to let me stay but they wouldn't budge and what's worse Dash didn't speak to me all week and pretty much avoided me pretending that she didn't even have a little sister. It broke my heart knowing that I lost not only my friends but my sister/role model as well. On the day when I was about to head out to Philadelphia me and the girl's tried to apologize to you but you simply just brushed us off along with our sister's so we just left you be. I said my goodbye's to Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom before Dash dropped me off at the airport, again she didn't say a word to me, she didn't even say goodbye or nothing. After that I just stepped into the terminal sad and gloomy with my luggage in hand ready to start my next "adventure". after I arrived at my Aunt's place I started to settle in, I was even grounded for the first month as soon as I arrived, but honestly I didn't even care anymore as I already lost everything I cared about. After that my aunt's enrolled me into the local highschool downtown and boy was I in for it. The school was known as Philadelphia Star Academy or PSA for short and I'm not joking when I say this place was a freaking Gulag! The whole place looked like a war zone. The lockers were chipped and rusted, some of the windows were cracked, there was barely any light's, hell there was even some graffiti in some of the bathrooms, the teachers didn't look the least bit friendly, and don't even get me started on the student's. There was practically 2-3 gang's in the school who took the thrill of jumping anyone who either stepped foot in their territories or just to smack around and bully for fun. During the first three month's I ended up being one of their victim's. I was kicked, punched, slammed into lockers, and they even tried to toss me down the stairs and a window, thank god Dash taught me how to break loose from a grip. Each day I came home with bruises all over my body and my Aunt's always treated my wound's the second I walk into the house. Each time they questioned why I didn't go to the nurses office but I knew I deserved getting my ass kicked after what I did to not only Dash but to you as well Sunset, they kept asking me the names of the kids who bully me but each time I lied and said that I don't remember cause the teachers and even the principle, and vice principle just turned a blind eye on all the violence in the school and wouldn't do a damn thing about it. And worst of all one of the gang members was Diamond Tiara's estranged cousin, GOD just the thought of being in the same school with a relative of my mortal enemy just made me sick to my stomach. It got even worse when they started to "tease" me by waving their weapons in my face from knives, gun's, bat's, and knuckle dusters. I knew I had to get the hell outta here, but I figured that my parent's wouldn't let me come home after what I've done. So for the next month I just settled on ditching school and hiding out in the junkyard until the day ended, and I always came home pretending to have come back from school. Luckily the Principles and teachers didn't give a damn about attendance so my little plan went smoothly, but not for long. One day while I was hiding out in the junkyard playing on my phone I got hungry so I decided to get myself some lunch from Burger King all while avoiding any cop or truant officer I came across. But as I was about to order my food I heard a voice yell out my name in the restaurant and was shocked to find my Aunt's right in the back of me looking pissed, as it turn's out they were in the city doing some grocery shopping and decided to stop by the same Burger king I was at to get some lunch. After that they dragged me out of the joint and into their car. As soon as we got home they demanded to know what was going on and why I wasn't in school. They actually have been suspicious for the first half of this month as they noticed that I've been unusually happy and didn't have any bruises on my body since I always came home with them all over. After that I finally broke down and admitted to everything that I've been through these past 4 1/2 months from the bullying, nearly getting killed, the gang members, why I refused to let the nurse treat my wounds, and ditching school for three week's just to avoid it all. After I explained everything I was waiting for them to just lash out and ground me, but to my surprise my aunt's walked up and hugged me. They apologized for not realizing that I've been going through so much pain and not noticing it sooner, I soon returned the embrace cause cause I couldn't stay mad at my aunt's as they've always loved me and treated me like I was their actual niece. After a long talk they told me to go upstairs and get some rest while they discuss some things. That night they phoned my parent's but Dash answered instead telling them that they were out on one of their date night's and it was just her in the house. So my Aunt's explained the situation to Dash and she was quick to say that she'll let my folk's know right away in the morning. For the next 2 days my Aunt's let me stay home from school until they got a call back from my folk's back at home. A few day's later I woke up in the morning and went downstairs to get some breakfast to my surprise I found Rainbow dash and my parent's waiting for me downstairs who were quick to run up and bring me into a group hug which I tearfully returned not caring if it went against my tough nature. As it turn's out Dash actually threatened to quit all her sport's teams if our parent's didn't let me come home, knowing they are big fans of their daughter and her academic's they quickly agreed not wanting her to give up her future. I was happy that Dash was willing to put her future on the line for me even after what I've done. We all decided to spend the rest of the day together before heading back to Canterlot, and during that time I apologized for everything I've done and my parent's and Dash were quick to forgive me which made me the happiest girl in the world. Later that night I started to pack my bag's and was more than ready to head home, We all said goodbye to Aunt Holiday and Lofty and made our way to the airport. I felt so good to finally come home and get away from that terrible school and the gang's, as the plane took off Dash had a little word with me and said " I'll always love you Squirt, what you did messed me and the girl's up badly but that's not gonna stop us from being family, we may not be related but your still my little sister and I'll always love you no matter how much you mess up" I have never been so happy in my life, it felt so good to here my big sis call me squirt again and to say that she loved me. We spent the entire flight in each others arms reminiscing about finally heading home, our real home. As soon as we made it back to Canterlot when we got out of the terminal To my surprise I found Sweetie Belle waiting for me as well and we soon hugged each other happy to be reunited once more, however I learnt that Bloom had to stay in Texas for an extra few day's due to an accident and was worried at first but I was relieved to know that she was doing better and better each day.
Present
"Then a few day's later Bloom came back home crutches in hand and we all celebrated at the gang finally being reunited again" Scootaloo said as she was about to finish her story. " Then a week later we were properly welcomed back to Canterlot High but a few measures had to be made for us which we didn't mind as long as we were together again, and me and the girl's breathed a sigh of relieved when we learned that the students and faculty have long since forgiven us and personally welcomed us back home"
After finishing her story Scoots took a sip of her s'mores Frappe all while Sunset looked shocked and surprised at the fact Scoots went through all that in Philadelphia and made it back home in one piece, after a moment she then spoke.
"Scootaloo, I had know Idea you went through all that. I'm so sorry" Sunset said in a sympathetic and sad tone.
"It's cool Sunset" Scoots replied putting her drink back on the table." After what we've done to you it was a small price to pay. But In the end there was a silverlining. A week after we were welcomed back at school I learned that my Aunt's sued the entire school for how I and the many other bullied student's were treated and for turning a blind eye at everything that happened, my Aunt's won the case with flying color's and the school got shut down temporarily and all of the faculty member's were fired along with the principles and had to pay a large settlement for the many damages throughout the school. And the best part the gang's were arrested and sentenced to 15 years, I was happy to know that they wont hurt anyone anymore. And that's not all my Aunt's are actually planning on signing up for the principle and vice principle positions of the school hoping to turn it into a safe sanctuary for all the student's free of bullying and gang member's. They are also planing on having some of their friends on board for the teaching positions as well"
"That's great Scootaloo, I know your Aunt's are gonna turn the school around" Sunset said happy for her friend's outcome.
" And listen Scoots" She continued." You did not and I repeat NOT deserve all those beatings. Look what you did to not only me but everyone else was messed up, but your not a bad person. I don't want you punishing yourself over one mistake. Even though you caused a lot of rift's you were still forgive by not only Dash but the entire school as well. What you did wont go away but it's not too late to move forward, and don't think punishing yourself is what you deserve if you do something bad. Because it isn't and Dash would agree with me too, so don't ever think you deserve to be sad cause you don't and you know it"
Scootaloo then thought for a moment about Sunset's little speech, and deep down she knew Sunset was right. She thought about what a fool she was thinking getting bullied was the right way to show how sorry she was for everything. But looking at it now she knew that torturing yourself isn't the right move to prove that you were sorry. In the en every one that she's hurt knew that she was sorry and showed remorse so there was no need for any of that, they still cared about her and nothing will change that no matter what stupid thing she and her friends do.
"Your right sunset" She said. " It's not cool to punish myself over a mistake, Dash wouldn't want that from me. I need to face my problems and solve them the right way instead of taking the cowards way by punishing myself"
Sunset then gave the sophomore a proud smile before taking a bite of an everything bagel. After a moment one of the girl's then spoke.
"Well guess it's my turn next" Sweetie belle said slightly nervous.
"Indeed" Sunset replied politely ushering her to continue." Go on ahead then Sweetie belle"
