Twilight slowly stood up, her legs weak after the amount of energy the spell consumed. The reddish clay on the floor shiffted under hoof as she walked toward a source of light in the distance. Twi blinked as she passed sections of the ground that seemed to burn with heat and flame. She eventually reached a cliff's edge, the glow coming from below her. Twilight peered over the edge. She gasped at the sea of lava that streached as far as she could see. "Lovely, isn't it?" a voice behind her.
Twilight twirled around to see a strange pony standing behind her. His coat was as black as Luna's night with red marks that moved like a lava flow, his mane was a mowhawk with a black section in the front and back and a red section in the middle. His tails was like a jet of red fire with a black core and his eyes were red with reptilian slits. His cutie mark was a stylized yellow flame. But his most distingushied features were a black, razor sharp horn, and a pair of black, bat like wings.
"Huh... huh... HELLPONY!" Twilight screamed, backing away from the figure.
The figure vanished, only to appear flying off the cliff's edge. "Yes, you could say that. I'm the first Hellpony, Infernus. And you are insufferable know-it-all Twilight Sparkle." He said in a silky smooth voice.
"Celestia protect me." Twi whispered, shacking in fear.
"Celestia, ha! What do you think my little sister could do to me?" Infernus asked the quaking mare.
"Little sister? What do you mean? There are only the royal sisters, Luna and Celestia, and their niece Candance, no others." Twilight said.
"AH, but that's that reason I asked you down here. I'll reveal secrets to you that have been hidden by the royal family since the world was young and the first of the tribes walked Equis." He said, appearing behind her to whisper her ear. "Secrets that will change everything."
"I-I-I don't know." Twi stammered.
"Well, the time for indesion is long since past. You made the choice when you spoke the passphrase I gave to you." He snapped. "I'll will reveal everything soon. We just need a few more members of the audience that should arrive shortly." he said.
Suddenly a burst of light lit the area. "Infernus, step away from my pupil!" Celestia shouted as she and Luna emmerged from the light.
"Well, there's two. Let me get the rest." Infernus said, ignoring the raging Alicorn in front of him. As his horn lit three more shapes appered.
"Where am I? Where's Shining" Candance asked, her body shacking.
"Hello there, brother." Chrysalis spat. She and Candance finally noticed each other. Candance glared daggers at the Changling Queen, while Chrysalis hid from her behind Celestia.
The third figure said nothing, since his entire body was encased in thick stone. "Really, stone again?Can't those silly elements do anything else?" he chuckled to himself. Once again his horn ignited and the statue cracked. The statue shuddered and stone flew everywhere as it shattered.
Discord tilted his head completly around until a lound bang could be heard from his tail. He looked around, taking in Twi, Celestia, Luna, Chrysalis and Candance, until he set his eyes on Infernus. "YOU!" he roared. Discord sprung at him, his paw ready to strike with pure chaos magic.
"Tsk, Tsk, Discord. Thinking you take down the master?" the hellpony said as he transmutated the chaos magic covering Discord's paw into neutron star matter. Discord landed with a thud, paw first. With a roar that shook the cavern, he turned his tail into diamond and swung it at Infernus. Infernus didn't even move as he turned Discord's tail into steam. As the tail passed through him, it reverted to normal, although it now sported a chain attached to the ground. Discord growled in fustration as he couldn't move.
Infernus walked over to where Discord's face was and peered him in the eye. "Done yet?" he smirked. Discord glared at him before opening his maw and blasting the hellpony in the face with pure chaos magic. When the stream stopped, Infernus stood there unfazzed. Infernus smilled. "Thank you for all that power." he said as Discord's eyes widdened in shock. Infernus grabbed the horn on the God of Choas's head and pushed. Discord's head dissapered into a deep crater as his entire body was pushed into the ground. When Infernus let go, Discord slummped to the ground, the things Infernus did to him vanishing.
Brushing his hooves off, he then faced the stunned mares. "Now that is done, lets begin." he said to Twilight. "Let me begin with my tale." he said as he made chairs appear under each mare.
