"Aw yeah!! I can not believe that the new Daring Do book comes out today! 'Daring Do and the Temple of Ahuizotl.' And I'm at the very front of the line! Eeeeee!!" Rainbow Dash fan girls over the fact that the latest edition of the Daring Do book series comes out today, and of how she's the first in line at the bookstore before it opens.
Today is a brightly warm sunny day to stand in a line. Especially since her and the other Daring Do fans are all outside, waiting for one of the store employees to unlock the two double stained glass doors (and be immediately trampled by everyone).
"This is so awesome." Rainbow excitingly says, her wearing her official, unofficial, Daring Do pith helmet. She would wear the rest of her Daring Do cosplay attire but her mom accidentally put them all in with the reds while she was doing the wash.
Nothing can make this day be any worst for her. Well, until...
"Rainbow Dash! I knew I'd find you here."
Rainbow breaks out of her excited funk as she recognized that voice.
"Oh no. Nonononono. That better not be-"
"Zephyr Breeze?" Yes, Zephyr Breeze.
Rainbow just takes one look at him before looking away. Crossing her arms, her expression going to a 'not this again' look.
"Why, I knew I'd find ya here. What's with you being a Daring Do fan and all. Now I'm sure you're asking yourself why I'm here. And that is, I miss you." Zephyr says as he walks over to Rainbow, placing an arm on her shoulders, Rainbow immediately stepping aside out of it as he does.
"You've miss me? I see you everyday!" Rainbows yells out unexpectingly (maybe for Zephyr but not to Rainbow as she usually does this around him).
"Now now. No need to yell. What'd ya say me and you go do something once your done with this whole 'book' thing?" Zephyr offers to her.
"Pssst yeah. Why not give me your phone number while you're at it? So that I can call you later tonight?" Rainbow sarcastically jokes.
"Alright!" Zephyr, taking what she just said literally, pulls out a long piece of paper from the inside of his vest jacket, holding it out for her to take. "For you, m'lady."
Rainbow can only roll her eyes. "Sure, why not." Rainbow takes the number from him.
"You won't regret it. Anyway, I gotta go. Bye!!" Zephyr says as he walks on away from his crush.
Once she sees that Zephyr is completely gone and out of her sight, Rainbow crumbles up the piece of paper, "accidentally" letting it go in the trash bin besides her.
"Whoops."


(Later that Night)


Rainbow Dash is now at home, in her bedroom, sitting crisscross applesauce on her bed as she reads the latest Daring Do book.
Rainbow's been reading ever since she first got home, going straight to her room, deciding to stack all of the other Daring Do books on her bed (for reference), then she began to dig in deep in her new book.
While Rainbow is reading, just about to finish and get to the next chapter, her phone starts to buzz.
"Now who could that be?" Rainbow asks herself after just finishing up the chapter. "Maybe it's Twilight? I'm sure she just wants another Daring Do fan to talk with as she's too probably reading this book. Which is so far awesome, by the way." Rainbow marks her spot in her book, closing it, then picking up her phone, answering it.
"'Sup Twi. I-"
"Rainbow!! I knew you would pick up. Listen I..."
"You have got to be kidding me right now." Rainbow talks quietly to herself, realizing that it wasn't Twilight who was calling her but it just so happen to be Zephyr Breeze himself. Again.
"Ugggh."
