Lighting Heaven Reincarnated

Chapter 4

Walking around the forest... been days already. After the incident of me eating ponies...

God, I shouldn't have done that, now the so called system is gone too! Was it a illusion? I'm pretty sure it was...

I wandered around the the forest, knocking down any manticore or monster which unfortunately came in my path.

Trees... hut... even more tr-

Wait, what?!

I'd accidentally found Zecora little excuse for a house. Shouldn't the Alicorn Amulet be in there in season 3? Either I find the vendor who gave Trixie the powerful artifact or just wait for the possible immortality. Honestly, only a episode of My Little Pony will be missed. Sorry Trixie, no comeback for you today.

Though, I not going to pass up a chance of a visit to the zebra, and what's stopping me? The princesses? Psshaw, they probably don't know I exist- wait. They probably do. My bad.

I walked up to the door of the hut and knocked. The zebra didn't open the door, but she definitely stopped whatever she was doing.

"Who is there, is it the evil tree? If it is, leave me be!"

"No I'm not a timberwolf, Zecora."

"Who is that know my name. Answer before I put you to flames!"

Isn't this TV show suppose to be family-friendly? But then again, thinking about what I was doing, it probably changed. I rather not be chicken too, god so help me Zecora. The door was unlocked so I opened the door. The room was filled the the ingredients Zecora used to make her brew, and the cauldron was holding the unknown. Zecora was with her spear, ready to strike any pony who get in her way, and that pony was me. Looking around me were all kinds of books of incantations, spells, and potions, including some that may help me get out of my predicament.

The art of the mind. Also know as mind control.

Honestly, do I even need to tell you my plan?

I grab the book with my magic quickly, barely trying to hind the fact that I going to use her knowledge against her. She sprinted to me, ready to piece my heart. Her attacks coming nonstop, I dodged subtly, reading the interesting pages of the book.

The art of the mind is a simple task for necromancers and dark magic practicers. Regular unicorns or potion makers could learn this too, but they will have a difficult time learning.

I see but I'm talented, besides in one of the fics I read, Twilight is a necromancer, and she was like, six. I could learn it in two shakes of a reindeer tail. I kept on dodging the attacks of the zebra with ease for school was like a training ground for this.

You need to calm down and relax, breaking from the bonds of life. Close your eyes, and take deep breaths. Embrace yourself, for this will not be comfortable for the both of you. The side effects could damage one psyche. If you could feel the string between you two, try to follow that string until you reach the mind. Use your magic to open up a small passage to the pony mind. You want to reach the core for you to be successful and all you have to is overpower it.

That sounds easy. Though, this sounds too easy to be true.

Zecora only slashed off a hair. I'm really good at multitasking.

I did exactly what the book told me to do: relax. I breathed slowly while dodging Zecora weakening attacks. I heard her breath as she weakly stabbed towards me. Does everyone here has short stamina or is it just me? I thought as the background around me darken.

The world just became a space of black to me. The whole area seems, so clear...it's like unlocking your sixth sense or something like that. All I know is that my body became clearer than it should have been and the world slowed down.

I spy with my little eye something white, skinny and probably magical. It's like string, but even thinner, and hard to track. I had to focus all of my eyes on that one speck of spider web or I lose it. That 'string' that I found is leading to the head of Zecora, who is coming at me with the speed of a turtle. I 'dodged' the spear and touched Zecora forehead which let out a ball of white energy. Hmm... I wonder what I do now? Oh yeah.

My magic quickly turned the tide of the battle as it drained the life out of the ball. It strained my horn, a lot, but it worked!
Zecora had been defeated. Cue the victory music!
