32 contenders remained, and Rainbow Dash was one of them as they entered Round 3.
They now stood on a platform, below them pink slime. This brought up a terrible memory in Rainbow Dash's mind, from the time when Caballeron kidnapped her in Somnambula and left her to die in the slime. Thankfully, Daring Do was able to save her, but now, she was all alone.
She snapped out of the terrible thought. "I am not going to fall like this! Never!", Rainbow Dash said in determination. Whatever was coming now, she would survive it.
The starting tone came, and at first, nothing happened. But then, blocks came towards the 32 contenders, which they have to avoid.
At first, it was all easy, the blocks were easy to avoid, and there was nothing bad about it. For a few seconds, nobody was falling into the slime. But then, blocks started to appear more frequently, and some Fall Guys couldn't keep up with the pace, having them to fall in the slime.
One Fall Guy near Rainbow Dash was too slow to get to safety, so Rainbow Dash did what any fair competitor would do - she saved them. She held the Fall Guy tight with her forehooves to keep them from falling down.
"Hold on tight, buddy! I got you!", she said before she pulled them to safety.
The Fall Guy responded with a sound and a Thumbs Up.
"Ha, you're welcome, buddy!", Rainbow Dash said.
But the game was far from over - now the blocks narrowed the amount of running space so that the Fall Guys and Rainbow Dash were crammed together, and even more obstacles headed their way. Rainbow Dash dodged the obstacles with ease despite the small amount of personal space that she had for moving. But she wouldn't allow herself to fall in the slime.
Finally, the blockfest came to an end, and another tone signalled that the game was over. There were still 20 contestants left on the platform.
"12 contestants ELIMINATED. 20 QUALIFIED!"
Rainbow Dash was getting close to the top. She was now in the upper third, going for the win. She still was worried about the ones who were eliminated, but she tried not to think about the possibly terrible stuff that might happen...
She only prepared her body and mind for Round 4, which would start soon.
