Rainbow Dash opened her eyes, and saw that she was falling.

"What the!?"

She looked around and saw several weird-looking living beings fall down as well. It was 40 in numbers, and the number kept increasing. They looked a lot like... beans?

As Rainbow Dash kept falling, she tried to make sense out of her current situation. "Just where did that portal take me?", she thought.

Soon enough, the number of contestants increased to 60. Everybody fell down faster now. Some of those 'beans' looked very determined, but Rainbow Dash was still worried. What in the world has she gotten into? She was in some kind of a game show, in which probably the best one wins.

"A competition? Count me in!", Rainbow Dash said determined. And then, the ground came closer.

Despite the super fast fall, Rainbow Dash wasn't hurt, and netiher those living beings. She looked around and saw many flags with the same logo on it.

"Fall Guys...", Rainbow Dash thought, "So these living beings are Fall Guys, and this is a show dedicated to them?"

She wasn't even wrong - she stood at the starting line of a track with some obstacles in the way.

"A race? This is gonna be easy!", she said.

Rainbow Dash glanced at the grid of contestants. With her, it was a total of 60, and everyone wanted to reach the next round. She only didn't know how many would qualify.

Still, despite her being unsure, she took a launching stance, getting ready to race.

3... 2... 1... GO!

A sound came, signalling the start of the race. All 59 Fall Guys ran forward, so Rainbow knew the race began. She also ran forward, and as she moved forward, she noticed that doors were closing and opening every now and then.

"Whoa! What is that?", she thought. She never saw doors closing and opening again like that. But she knew that in order to reach the finish line, she needed to get through a gap.

She watched the gate that closed and ran for it. As she closed in, the gate opened again, and she managed to get through no problem. Then, she noticed another set of opening and closing gates. She used the same tactics - watching the closing gate and heading for it so she could pass through fast enough.

The next set was different - there were two gates in the middle that opened and closed frequently, and the two on the outside opened less frequently. Once again, Rainbow watched the gates and passed through the set without much trouble.

On the next set, the gates opened and closed quickly, so Rainbow Dash needed to think ahead of time. She got the pattern down and once again got through it without too much of a hassle.

Then came the last set - Rainbow Dash needed to slide down the slime and jump through an open gate. It looked very difficult...

"Nothing can stop me, not even a jump like that!", Rainbow Dash said in determination and ran down the slimey ground to build a run-up. She headed for the gate that's just opening and leapt forward when she reached the edge. She made the jump and ran over the finish line. She was first, followed by some Fall Guys.

"Yeah! That was awesome!", Rainbow Dash exclaimed. She watched more and more Fall Guys get through the obstacle and get to the finish. 20, 30, 35...

After the 44th runner crossed the finish line, the rest stood still, their heads down.

"Aw, what's wrong with them?", Rainbow Dash asked. She obviously has never seen a sad Fall Guy before. And then, she saw 16 drones come down and pick the last ones up.

An announcer voice said: "16 contestants ELIMINATED. 44 QUALIFIED!"

"Eliminated? Qualified?" Rainbow Dash didn't know what was going on. Apparently, she was one of the 44 who qualified, but 16 got eliminated. "Seems like if you get eliminated if you're too slow... And the best of us wins...", she knew. She certainly didn't like the thought of being eliminated. Who knows what would happen if you did?

But, she moved on to Round 2, and Rainbow Dash couldn't wait to get started.
