“All right Twi’ here’s the deal,” Applejack said to Twilight, they had finally reached the last standing building in all of Canterlot, it smelled of burnt wood and moldy wash towels. “Once we left Canterlot on that day, err, I reckon about a year ago, give or take a month or two… Anyway, once we left Canterlot, the whole world kinda went to all heck. Celestia just disappeared; we never even found a body. So once we made it back to Ponyville, we learned that Discord had crowned himself the new king of Equestria.”
“That can’t be possible; Luna must have tried to stop him!” Exclaimed Twilight.
“The Pony you are referring to, Luna, left quite a long time ago.” Zack said, doing some sort of a squat, confusing Twilight a bit, as she thought that he was in pretty good shape, and that he didn’t need to constantly exercise. “She left about the same time I came around.”
“I’m geetin’ there Zack, hold yer horses, anyway, Luna just kinda left without word.” Applejack said, kind of annoyed. “We looked for Rarity and Fluttershy for almost 4 months, but we gave up after the Followers started appearing.”
“You mean those Monsters that attacked us?” asked Twilight, remembering the event.
“Ya, those monsters that attacked you are what a friend of mine calls ‘Followers’ because the followed him for almost two weeks.” Zack explained. “Good thing a hero was there to save you right!”
Twilight just raised an eyebrow and turned back to Applejack. “Please continue Applejack.”
“So about a month after our search, The Wonderbolts started some kinda War effort against discord, and Rainbow Dash left to join it, Pinkie Pie started a shelter in Las Pegasus, and I’ve been tryin’ to find out a way to break you out of that rock.”
“Why did you stay here in this mess? I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if you got hurt.”
“Well, we needed you for, um… Zack, would you care to explain?” asked Applejack.
“Sure can!” Zack stopped doing squats and approached the two. “All right, so you’re a keyblade wielder!”
“A what?” Twilight had a hard time understanding this guy, let alone take him seriously.
“Oh, you don’t know what a keyblade is? Sweet, I can demonstrate then, now watch.” Zack held out his hand in front of him, his hand in an odd position like he was holding something. Then in a flash of magical light, a blade in the shape of a key appeared in his hand. “This is Metal Chocobo, my keyblade.”
‘What in the world!? That’s impossible, completely illogical.” Twilight explained, “Swords in the shape of keys do not appear out of thin air.”
“Sugercube, have you looked outside lately?” asked Applejack. “Nothing is normal anymore.”
“There are only four people that can wield the keyblade. Me, You, and two others I’ve met.” Zack said.
“Mind telling me who these other two are Zack?” Twilight was sick of not knowing details
“There right over there in the shadows.” Zack pointed over to a corner were two shady figures were standing. They stepped out from the shadows, One being another human, but the other one being something completely different, with spines like animals Fluttershy used to have.
“Oh, well I’ll be, reckon I didn’t see you two over there.” Applejack cleared her throat “Twi’ the Human to the left is a boy named Trunks, he’s half alien or something like that, the other one is Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog.”
“It’s a pleasure to finally meet you Twilight Sparkle” Trunks said. He held out his hand. “Umm… kind of forgot you didn’t shake hands… hoofs I mean.”
“Hmph…” is all the hedgehog said.
Twilight let out a long sigh. “Things couldn’t get any worse…”
“What if I said you are going on a Adventure with us!” Zack said happily.
“You have got to be kidding me?” Said Twilight.
