It was another day in Ever Grande city and the sun was starting to rise over the horizon, the sun was shining right into a hotel room which Celestia and Applejack was sleeping in. The sun right into Celestia’s face which made her eyes open. “Oh now, I forgot to move the sun.” She shouted while sitting up which also woke up Applejack, Celestia look around the room and she remember where she was. “That’s right, I’m in another world and I don’t have to raise it.” She placed both her hands over her face and started to rube it. “I don’t understand how Luna managed to deal with that.”
Applejack on the other hand was trying to understand what just happened, she mind getting up early but not like this. “That’s one way to woke up in the morning.” She said while trying to figure what just happened.
“I’m sorry Applejack, I didn’t mean to wake you.”
The farmer just waved it off. “Don’t worry about it, I had worst wake up call.” She then look at Celestia. “By that way, who is moving the sun and moon while you are gone? it’s not Discord, is it?”
Celestia just smirked. “No, it’s not him. It’s someone me and Luna trust.” Applejack couldn’t help but wonder who, she knew that Celestia was talking to a pony before they left but the princess never said who. Then someone knock on the door. “Yes, who it is?” Celestia asked.
“It’s James, I’m here to escort you all to breakfast so get dress and meet in the lobby when you’re ready, just remember to put some clothes on because I don’t want to see one of your naked again.”
Then they heard James walk off, Celestia and Applejack gave each other a confusing look, they could only wonder what he meant by the naked part. Once they finished their business in the bathroom, which was a little difficult, but they managed it, they got dressed and walk down into the lobby.
Once they got there they could see James sitting in a chair, he was reasting his head with his hand and he look tired. He open his eyes when he heard that coming down the stair and he was happy they were dressed.
“Did you two sleep alright?” He asked them.
“We sleep well.” Celestia answered him. “What did you mean by you didn’t want to see us naked?” She asked him.
He let out a tired sighed. “When I knock on Rarity’s room, the girl with bubble hair open and she was butt naked, it look like didn’t bother her at all. Then I told her to get some clothes on she just gave me a confusing look, it didn’t help that I told her she couldn’t go around naked because it was tabu, I was just lucky that Rarity was there to talk some sense in her.” He then rubbed his eyes. “I was just glad that Twilight answered the door with clothes on her body.” He then let out a yawn.
“You look tired.”
James wasn’t amused by Celestia’s words. “Luna woke up around 6 am and then she dragged me out of my bed, I’m not used to get up that early. I think she is excited to be in this tournament.”
“Just what is this arrangements?” Celestia asked James.
“I will explain later.” Then the rest of the girls walk down the stairs. “About time you girls showed up.” James said with annoyance in his voice.
“Hey, give us a break, we are still getting used to these bodies.” Dash snap at him.
James didn’t care. “Whatever you say skittles.” James stood up and Celestia notice a book in his hand. “Here Celestia,” He handed her the book. “this is a book of the different Pokémon, your sister want you to have this.”
Celestia was surprised when she heard that, she didn’t think Luna would do that. The girls was also surprised expected Dash, she was offended.
“Why does Celestia get the book? What about the rest of us?” Dash’s friends couldn’t believe she said that.
James just gave her a tired look. “Really? You just ask that after what happened yesterday? Celestia is Luna’s sister, that’s why and you remember how Luna reacted when she saw you six, do you really think she want to give the book to you?” He then snorted. “Think again.” Dash didn’t want to admit it, but he had a point.
Celestia took the book. “If Luna want me to have it then I will happily accepted it.” She placed it under her right arm.
“Actually, you can borrow it. I borrow it from the Pokémon center yesterday.” Celestia nodded in understanding. “Good, let’s head to the café from yesterday and get some breakfast, I’m starving.” Celestia and the girls wasn’t about to argue about that.
While walking to the café, Celestia decided to read the book, she wanted to learn about Pokémon.
“What are you reading Celestia?” Pinkie asked in her usually bubbly voice.
“I’m trying to learn about the Pokémon that we saw yesterday, we first saw Arcanine is known as the legendary Pokémon which belongs to James, right?” James just gave her a thumbs up. “It says that Arcanine can run over 6,200 miles in a single day and night.” Celestia and the girls was amazed by that.
“That’s pretty cool, even I can’t fly that far in a day and night.” Said Dash who didn’t want to admit it.
Then Celestia went to another pages in the book. “Here we have the Pokémon Luna had, Pyroar the royal Pokémon, it says that it can attack flames which can be more than 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit.” The girls was a little anxious when they heard that. “That’s weird,” Celestia took a closer look at the two picture in the book. “Why are the two different pictures of Pyroar?” Twilight and friends was also curious so Celestia showed them the picture and she was right. One had mane that look like a sun and the other had mane that look like Celestia and Luna’s back in Equestria.
Then James spoke. “That’s because one of the is male and the other is female, some Pokémon are different when it comes to their gender, the one Luna has is female.”
“I have to say, their mane are gorgeous, especially the female one.” Said Rarity.
“That was not what you said about Leavanny in the hotel room.”
“It was green Pinkie, you know I don’t like green.” Rarity protested.
“A Leavanny is a grass/bug type and grass Pokémon is usually green, they can’t help it.” James explained to them.
Celestia decided to see if he was right, she found the information. “He is right, Leavanny the nurturing Pokémon. You may like what it says about it Rarity, it looks like Leavanny makes clothes from leaves to little Pokémon.”
Rarity didn’t expect that. “Really?” Celestia nodded. “I guess one can judge a Pokémon by its looks. Just how many types of these Pokémon are there?”
Rarity asked a good question. “Hold on, I saw that on the first pages.” She turned the pages. “There are eighteen types; bug, dark, dragon, electric, fairy, fighting, fire, flying, ghost, grass, ground, ice, normal, poison, psychic, rock, steel and water.”
Dash had to place both hands on her head. “My head hurts, how does humans keep track of them all?”
James couldn’t help but smirk. “It’s a little confusing at first but you get used to it.” Dash wasn’t sure she believe him.
When James and the others arrived at the café, they could see Luna sitting outside by one of the table, she was happy enjoying her coffee. She then notice James, her sister and the elements approaching.
Luna then notice James wasn’t happy. “Did you have trouble when you went to get them?” She asked him.
“I don’t want to talk about it.” He told her while sitting down beside her.
Luna look at her sister who sat down on the other side. “Did I miss something?”
“Apparently Pinkie was naked when she open the door for him.”
That made Luna look at the bubbly human who only had an innocent smile. “Pinkie, what did I say yesterday?”
“It’s not I knew that humans had to wear clothes all the time, nobody told us.”
Luna tried to come up with an answer, but none came to mind. “Alright, that’s on me. I should have told you that, if you girls has any question then just ask, I will be happy to answer.” The girls didn’t expect that, Luna look much happier now then yesterday.
The James spoke. “Let’s just order breakfast, it’s on me.”
The girls wasn’t about to say no to that, they order their food, James pay for it and then they were decided to walk to the spot where Luna and Celestia had their ‘talk,’ James told Luna it was a good place to train.
While walking, Luna decided to ask her sister about the book. “So, are enjoying the book?”
Celestia smiled. “Yes, I have to say that these Pokémon are fascinating ‘animals’? is that the correct way to describe them?”
Luna had to scratch her head for that one. “I guess so? I have never thought about it before, most Pokémon I have seen look like animals but not all, some Pokémon kind of look like humans but they are not, you know?” Celestia wasn’t sure she understood her, considering she hadn’t seen every Pokémon yet. When they arrived at the peach, they got to work with the training.
