"Okay. Activate the armor."
"Understood."
With that blue and black, beetle styled armor began to appear on Button Mash's body.
Once the armor appeared he began looking at it through the helmet.
"Okay, what can this armor do?"
"This armor has access to wings, wall staples, shields, energy blasters, blades and night vision."
Button was surprised by what type weapons and tools this armor had.
"Alright then. Lets give this a shot. Activate wings!"
As soon as he said that a pair of beetle wing appeared from the scarab.
"Amazing." Buttons says quietly.
He then attempts to fly with a bit of success. He was a bit wobbly, but he was flying.
"Alright! Now lets see what's going on!" Button says as he flies towards the commotion.
At the scene of the attack we see a villain in a suit that has the colors of the Hero known as The Dash, but in reverse.
She is known as: The Reverse Dash.
Reverse Dash was currently wrecking havoc in an attempt to get The Dash to appear.
"Come on out Dash! I know you can't ignore this!" Reverse says as she uses her speed to attempt to create a tornado.
"The Dash may not be here. But I am!" Yells a familiar voice.
Reverse looks up and sees a certain colt wearing beetle style armor.
"Who are you supposed to be? Oh well, doesn't matter!" Reverse says as she flies at speeds that only The Dash and Kid Dash could hope to match.
Button meanwhile was trying to figure out how to stop her.
"Khaji. Any ideas on how to stop her?
" This unit can use it's computer to track how fast the target is moving. Use the wall staples to pin her in place once the movement is calculated." Says Khaji
"Got it." Says Button as the armor began calculating the movement of Reverse Dash. Once the movement was calculated Button fired the wall staple. Pinning the Reverse Dash to the wall of a building.
"Got her." He says as he flys over to her.
"Good. This unit now recommends using the blades to sever the targets head."
"Wait what? We aren't going to kill anyone!" Says Button in shock
"Are you certain that is the best option? If not permanently terminated she could pose a threat to civilians." Says Khaji.
"Yes, I'm sure. if we kill her we'd only be prove that their methods are acceptable." Says Button
Very well. However, this unit would recommend retreating for now. We do not know what else to expect.
Button agrees with this and begins flies off to find a place to change back to his civilian clothing.
"Who are you?!" Reverse Dash yells in anger as she struggles to get loose.
"Call us the Blue Beetle." He says as he flies off.
A little while later Button enter his home when his mom rushes over to him.
"Button are you okay? I saw the attack on the news!"
"Yeah, I'm fine I stayed out of harms way." He says.
"Thank goodness. Though I did hear there was a new hero on the scene. I think he called himself Blue Beetle from what the news report said."
"Yeah, I heard that too. Who do you think he is?"
"I don't know. But he seems kind of young." Says his mom.
With that Button goes upstairs to try and find out more about Magic Star and the first Blue Beetle.
Meanwhile the Super Friends were going over the latest development.
"Who is he?" Asks Green Lantern, also known as Twilight Sparkle.
"Not sure. But I've heard of the Blue Beetle before." Says The Dash, also known as Rainbow Dash.
"I have as well. The previous Wonder-mare told me about them." Says the current Wonder-mare , also known as Fluttershy.
"I knew them as well. Except the previous Blue Beetle was a Mare by the name Magic Star." Says Lord Tydal, also known as Aqua-pony.
"Wait, Magic Star was the first Blue Beetle?" Asks Green Lantern.
"Yes, is there a problem with that?" Asks Mare-Do-Well, also known as Rarity.
"Not really, except she was killed in an explosion the other day. So it can't be her.
Silence falls into the room after that.
"I knew this stuff was dangerous but who killed her and why?" Asks Captain Alicorn, also now known as Spike the dragon to the rest of the Super Friends."
"Official reports say there was a lab accident. However there are a few flaws with that. One of the flaws being Star Industries wasn't creating any dangerous technology." Explains Mare-Do-Well
"That still doesn't explain who killed Magic Star, or who the new Blue Beetle is." Says Pink Arrow, also known as Pinkie Pie.
"The best I can guess is that someone found the Scarab that Magic Star used and bonded to it by accident." Says Aqua-pony.
"What do we do about the new Blue Beetle then?" Asks Wonder-mare.
"I recommend we monitor him until further notice. Thankfully, we have a way of doing that.
"How do we do that?" Ask Super-mare, also known as Applejack.
"Dash, Mare-Do-Well, Super-mare. Who is currently members of the Foal Titans?"
"So far it's only Super Filly, Kid Dash, Filly-Be-Good, and Power Filly." Says Super Mare.
"How would they feel about having a new member on the team?"
