Everyone has basically known of Lil Cheese by now... . The Cake Twins had fun with caring for him. The Young Six had some fun with him by taking him to different places. And the CMC were more than happy to see him too. Mostly to give him some pointers on friendship. However... . What anyone doesn’t know is how his own parents felt about him... . Sure they’ve been really glad and excited to have their own kid one day... . But unfortunately; it’s been proving to be a little too taxing on them... . And that’s not all... . It almost seems like that they’ve finally have met their match... . Which brings us; to this sideshow. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show that’s this story. Here we go... .



Pinkie Pie is panting heavily; having been worn down and drained from keeping up with Lil Cheese’s energy.

“Ooh boy...” Pinkie Pie said almost out of breath. “I don’t know how long we can keep this up... . I’m partied out... .”

Cheese Sandwich; whom is also panting from almost complete exhaustion; flatly states; “you’ve said it.... . Phew!”

After the two attempt to catch their breath; they then collapse onto the floor from exhaustion.

(In case y’all are confused; they’re at Sugarcube Corner because Lil Cheese wanted to have a play date with the Cake Twins. But since they left; Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich are now tasked with watching over the house for the night. Now; onto the rest of the story).



Lil Cheese; still having a lot of energy within him; giggles, and jumps onto both of his parents, and says; “cmon mom and dad; wake up. Try and catch me! Haha.”

Pinkie; having been exhausted for who knows how long; turns to look at her son, and replies; “little cheese; as much as I wanted to; I can’t.” Little Cheese giggled, then asks; “why not?” His dad: Cheese Sandwich, then replied; “we’re just too tired son... . Maybe next time; okay?” Lil Cheese paused for a minute, and then says; “oh, okay.” and goes right back to bouncing from having too much energy.



Few hours have passed, and it seems that there’s no end to Lil Cheese’s energy, and no one that’s available to babysit for a while. Well... almost everyone... .

*poof*. “Guess who???” a certain draconaquis appeared in a flash. Seeing who it is; Lil Cheese gasped, and shouts; “uncle Discord; you’re here!” and runs up to hug him. Discord then felt Lil Cheese tackle him to the ground, and embracing him in a hug. “Hehe; hey there lil guy. How’s it going?” Discord said blatantly whilst petting Lil Cheese’s head.

After the hug that felt like it went for hours; (even though it actually didn’t); Lil Cheese released him, and starts bouncing. “I cannot believe you’re here!” he said with excitement. “I’m so glad that you’re here uncle Discord!” Breathing heavily from also being crushed by a hug; Discord said; “yeah... . Me too kid... . Me too.... .” Lil Cheese giggled and said; “you’re silly”, and proceeded to laugh as well.

After regaining his composure; Discord started to stretch, and then starts to think of a way to entertain Lil Cheese for the day... .

Meanwhile; Lil Cheese is just feeling a little giggly, and decides to bounce up and down with his tail; like his mom Pinkie Pie once did. Why? Because he’s still too energetic. That’s all.... .



Discord and Lil Cheese are currently in the kitchen; rummaging through so many recipe books because Lil Cheese wanted to bake a cake with his uncle.

However; before they could decide on what to make; Lil Cheese’s tummy started growling; which caused him to whine slightly... . So with that; Discord magically closed a group of recipe books that he was levitating, and then picked up Lil Cheese so he could look for something for him to eat... .



“Hmmm...” thought Discord. “I could’ve sworn I’ve made something for him... . But I don’t know what... .”

After some careful thinking; Discord just shrugged it off, and made Lil Cheese a PB&J sandwich with it having the appearance of lil ducks; just like Pinkie used to make. With that; Lil Cheese accepted the meal, and starts eating the sandwich.

Discord then went to lean against a wall; surprisingly tired even though he just made a simple sandwich for someone… . Maybe he was helping Fluttershy with the animals before he arrived? Maybe he went for a fly or a run? Or maybe it’s the fact that Lil Cheese made him chase him around Sugarcube Corner right as soon as Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich left for the night? Yeah… that’s probably it.



Pinkie and Cheese Sandwich are currently having a nice romantic dinner somewhere in Ponyville Park. The sun was shining over the horizon; almost looking like that it’s about to be sunset anytime soon. But for now; Pinkie and Cheese aren’t too worried about that. And then they began to set up the picnic blanket so they can have a nice dinner/picnic in the park.

“Oh wee…” Pinkie Pie said while still trying to regain her energy from their son’s energetic personality. “Our son sure can be a hoof full at times huh?” Cheese Sandwich laughs softly as he’s also tired, and then says; “yup… . But I wouldn’t have it any other way… right?” Pinkie nodded, and then got out the food.

While the sun was slowly setting on the horizon; Pinkie turned to Cheese Sandwich, and then asked; “hey… . You don’t think maybe having a child was a bad thing… was it? I mean… I’ve always wanted a child… . And I really am glad on that decision… . But… . What if being parents might be bad… . Like…. . What will happen if Lil Cheese keeps up with his energy? I mean… I love him to bits and all… . And he certainly does have my darling’s personality.” “Oh you…” Cheese Sandwich interrupted while giggling at the comment. Pinkie chuckled a little too, but then resumes by saying; “but I’m starting to think that maybe I’m just not cut out to be a parent… . Don’t you think?” Cheese Sandwich sighs, and then says; “you know what pinkie? I’m starting to think that too… . But hey; we’ve had a kid of our own… right? No pony could really think of us as the child bearing family; you know…?” Confused; Pinkie raised an eyebrow, and asked; “they do…?” Cheese nodded, and then continues by saying; “but also… . I’m really glad that I’m having my own family with you… .” He smiles, and then says; “because if I didn’t have you… then I’d probably be stuck in that rundown comedy company… right?” Pinkie’s eyes grew wide; having remembered that moment, and then said; “oh… right… hehehe… .”

After a few minutes of silence; Cheese Sandwich then got up, and said; “well… sun’s going down. You wanna head back?” Pinkie nodded, but then said; “wait… . Can’t we just stay here…? Just for a few more minutes…? Please?” Cheese Sandwich was reluctant because the sun was down… . But since he also doesn’t wanna disappoint his wife; he reluctantly nodded with a smile, sat back down on the blanket, and then says; “okay… . But just for a few minutes; okay?” Pinkie then hugged him, then says; “thanks buddy… . I love you… .” Cheese smiled at that remark; then says; “I love you too Pinkie… .” and then kissed her on the muzzle before turning to look back at the sunset.



Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich were just about to enter the house of the Cakes; when suddenly she stopped, then said; “oh… . I really hope that our son didn’t give him too much trouble… .” Cheese Sandwich chuckles a little, and then says; “relax hon. I mean…” he said as he opened the door. “How much trouble can our son be…?” Well as they soon founded out; a lot.

Reason is that the entire house was caked in frosting. Not to mention that there was a lot of wasted flour everywhere in the kitchen. And to top it off; Discord and Lil Cheese; (their son), was respectfully lying on top of his uncle; fast asleep.

With a defeated sigh; pinkie then just blurts out; “eh… I’ll clean it up tomorrow…” and then went to join the sleep pile… . Cheese Sandwich shrugged, and just said; “meh… me too…” and went to join his wife as well.

With every pony fast asleep; the rest of the night went on without a hitch.
