It was a perfect day in Ponyville, and Rarity woke up, bright and early, took a shower, and went down to the main room of her boutique.
She was excited because today was dress-making day, and that means a new dress idea for her to make into a reality, but today she had a little problem, what kind of idea will she make for a dress?
"Now then, what dress will i make today?" She asked, starting to ponder, she trotted over to the pony manniquin, still unsure of what to put on it, "It has to been stylish, it has to be wonderful, it has to be... fabulous!" She said.
Rarity decided to make some tea while she thought of the idea.

Just as she was about to go the boutique's kitchen to make some tea while still thinking on what to do for the dress, Twilight Sparkle came in, with her number 1 dragon assitant, Spike, as soon as Rarity noticed this, she smiled.
"So nice to see you two this morning, Twilight and Spikey Wikey." She said, "Nice to see you too, m'lady." Spike said, bowing, gratefully, to Rarity, who blushed happily.
"Making a new dress for the boutique, Rarity?" Twilight asked, looking at the pony manniquin, "Yes, i am, Twilight, but i'm having a little trouble." Rarity replied, a little worried, "What do you mean?" Twilight asked, looking confused, "Well, you see, i'm having a little trouble on ideas, i can't figure out what dress i should do." Rarity said, trotting up to the window, looking out at the bright sun in the sky.

Twilight noticed this and wanted to help, so did Spike, Rarity smiled as big as she could and said "Thank you, you two, i could use your help, but first, could i get you a warm cup of tea, Twilight?" "Sure, Rarity." Twilight said, nodding her head.
Rarity then trotted to the kitchen, fixed up some tea from the kettle, then went to sit down with Twilight and Spike.

She then took out a notepad and a feather, dipped in black ink, ready to put down some ideas, "Maybe you can do a purple dress with strawberries on it?" Twilight suggested, Rarity shook her head "I think so, darling, fruit bats might bite onto it, and i hate animals eating my dresses." Spike then suggested, "Maybe you can do a dress covered in violet pedals." Rarity thought it was a good idea, but she had second thoughts, "The pedals might shrivel and leave the dress bare and not fashionable enough."

"I see." Spike said, and then continued to think of new dress ideas, Twilight then had another idea, "Maybe you can do a rainbow dress?" She asked, "No, i already did one for Rainbow Dash, darling." Rarity said, shaking her head.
Spike then stood and pasted, up and down, trying to think of an idea.

Rarity then suggested an idea, "Maybe i can do a simple flower dress, one with violets and petuneas." Twilight shooked her head and replied, "No, i don't think flowers will be able to stick on a dress too easily." Rarity nodded in agreement and continued thinking up her ideas.

Soon after, the kettle's whistle then starts to whistle, "Oh, that must be the tea." Rarity as she then trotted back to the kitchen, poored the tea from the kettle into two teacups, with the magic from her horn, and gave Twilight the 2nd cup of tea while she took a sip of the first cup of tea.

Spike looked at the cups of tea, Twilight and Rarity were drinking from, and had an idea, "Maybe you can do a dress based on tea, with brown and white fabric." Rarity wasn't too sure about that, "I think somepony already did that, Spikey Wikey, but i'm not sure who."

A little bit later, Pinkie Pie hopped in, "Hi, girls, hi, Spike, what's popping!?" Pinkie asked, with a huge smile on her face, "Oh, hello, Pinkie Pie, we're trying to decide on what i can do for my new dress."
Pinkie Pie was excited and wanted to help too, "How about you do one on candy, balloons and streamers? it will be so happy and fun!" Pinkie suggested, Rarity shooked her head, "I already did that dress for you, darling." She said, "Oh, okay then, i'll think of some more ideas!" Pinkie Pie said, thinking with a smile on her face.

Just then, as Twilight looked at Spike, she started to get an idea, "Hey, Rarity!" She said, "Yes, Twilight?" Rarity asked, "I think i have an idea, how about you do a dress based on Spike!?" Twilight said, squeeling in excitement.
Rarity was amazed, and so was Pinkie as she was jumping up and down in excitement, "You mean...?" Rarity asked, "Yes, when everyone likes and tries out the dress, they will always know that it's based around the dragon you and i know, Spike!" Spike heard this and got excited too.
"Yeah, that will be amazing!" He said, "Yes, yes, yes, it will be so exciting!" Pinkie Pie happily shouted.

Rarity smiled and squeeled in excitement, "Twilight, Spike, Pinkie Pie, that is a great idea, i'll get to work right now!" So, with some purple fabric in hand, and a sewing machine in the other, Rarity got to work, after a few hours of concentration, she made the most perfect Spike-inspired dress ever, it had purple fabric all over, with a dragon head hoodie on the top, and a fabric made dragon tail at the bottom.
"Wow, Rarity, that is so amazing!" Spike said, amazed in excitement, Pinkie Pie thought it looked amazing and exciting, "It looks amazing and exciting!" She said, Twilight nodded in agreement and said "It will be the most famous ever."

And she was right, cause sooner or later after Rarity showed this dress to the world, everypony bought it and loved it, they loved how it kept them warm in the winter, and loved how it even makes them look like an actual dragon, when ponies asked Rarity on how she got the idea for it, she said "It was inspired by my favorite dragon, Spike."
