It had been a week since you heard about Aaron from your parents. You were currently in your room chilling on your phone scrolling through social media. It was a Saturday midday and you were excited for Monday surprisingly. Monday would be the day when the tournament was going to begin. As you thought about it you probably should get ready for tomorrow, you were planning on doing some training practice with Flash before the big day arrived. You were about to go to Flash's when you got a call... it was from Adagio. Why would she be calling you at this time of day?
"Hello?" You asked as you picked up the phone.
"Hi, Anon." Adagio said once she heard your voice.
"Hi, Adagio... what's up?" You asked wondering why she was calling you.
"It's about Sonata, ever since she broke up with Dusk Shine she's been depressed. I've already called the other do you think you can come over?" Adagio asked. You could tell she was worried for her sister.
You thought about what Adagio had said, Sonata was depressed? Not too rude but that was kinda obvious, Sonata hadn't been how she use to be. No longer was she the bubbly girl you once knew and loved. Maybe it's gotten worse since the last time you have last seen. She hasn't smiled or laughed since she broke up with Dusk Shine. In fact, she's been the total opposite of how she normally acts. Ever since they broke up Aria and Adagio had become Sonata's bodyguards at school. Nobody came within a five feet radius of her, especially Dusk Shine. You've hated seeing your crush be all depressed. Her life had been sucked out of her, no emotions or feelings. Whatever the reason you were going to be there for Sonata.
"Sure, I'll be there right away." You said as you got up from your bed and put on your shoes.
"Thanks, Anon, we're going to need all the help we can get." Adagio said as you then hung up the phone.
As you hung up the phone you got a text from Flash. Aria had called him telling him the same thing but that Sonata was planning to do something tonight. Now that caught your attention you then quickly put on a jacket and burst through your front door running to get to Sonata's before it was too late.
Once you got there everyone else was already there. Flash had just arrived in his car with Sunset and Twilight. Fluttershy had then knocked on the door and Adagio opened the door, she looked distraught. Even her hair which she loved was a mess. She didn't even say hi before she ran back to the house and into the kitchen. As you and the others walked in you saw a total disaster. The house was a mess, it was as if a tornado had come in and demolished the place. Aria too looked like a mess and her normal pigtails were also a mess. The two girls grabbed a bag full of stuff and threw it in a safe and then locked it shut. You didn't even know they had a safe at their house.
"What is going on?" Sunset said. You looked around the house, it looked like World World II had taken place there.
"Well after Sonata said she was suicidal we aren't taken any chances. We found anything that she could hurt herself and now she can't get them because we have the key to the safe." said Aria. As much as you wanted to say it, this was Sonata. She could hurt herself on anything, she could walk and still somehow find a way to hurt herself.
"So why are we here exactly?" Twilight asked.
"She was planning to do it tonight." You could tell that Adagio was close to crying but she was staying strong. "So we thought it would be a good idea to call all of you and see if you guys could talk to her. We tried talking to her but she won't listen to us."
"Sure we'll fix her." Flash said with a smile.
Adagio smiled. "Thank you all of you but only one of you can go at a time."
"Who should go first then?" Rarity asked as she looked around.
"Let me go I'll fix her in five minutes." Rainbow said as she made her way to Sonata's room.
Yeah, that's not going to happen. Especially with how Rainbow acts. Rainbow gets escorted to Sonata's room. You didn't think Rainbow was going to change things, in fact, she would probably make things worse. Not even a minute later you hear a slap and then the sound of a door opening. It was Rainbow with a big red mark on her face. Yeah, you weren't surprised at all.
"I'm going to take a guess and say you didn't 'fix her in five minutes.' Like you were saying." Aria said with a smirk as she looked at Rainbow.
Rainbow looked at Aria and rolled her eyes. "Whatever, who's next?"
Rarity smirked. "Let me go only a true woman can help another."
Yeah, the woman that loves drama. Let her go, that makes total sense. You roll your eyes as Rarity goes to Sonata's room. A bit later once again Rarity comes out looking upset. Great, the drama queen failed as well.
Rarity looked at Adagio with a frown. "Sorry, darling guess I couldn't help."
Adagio gave Rarity a small smile. "It's fine Rarity, who's next."
It went like that for a while. Applejack went up next then Fluttershy and then Flash. You had tried to talk to Sonata but someone else would go instead. Five people had already gone up leaving only four of you were left. All of you guys decided to regroup and think of a plan.
Adagio looked at all of you. "We're only down to Sunset, Twilight, Pinkie, and Anon. We have to think wisely if Sonata is serious about doing it tonight we have to hurry."
Rainbow crossed her arms. "I think Pinkie should go she can make anyone feel better."
Flash shook his head. "No someone like Sunset or Anon who has known Sonata way longer should go up."
In your mind, you didn't think Sonata was going to commit suicide. But you could never be too sure. You guys weren't even sure if Sonata was really going to do it. But... Adagio was crying in Sunset's lap and she never and you meant it, NEVER cries in front of others. Even Aria was holding back tears barely keeping them from coming out. It didn't matter. She was hurting and you were going to help her no matter what.
"Anon what do you think?" Rainbow asked as she looked over at you.
Out of everyone, Pinkie was probably the best option but Sunset was also a good option. Twilight was smart at everything so she might be able to help. You wanted to help but weren't a therapist. You knew what having your heart broken felt like, but that was it. You didn't know who should go but you just wanted Sonata to be happy again.
"I don't know probably Sunset." You said shrugging your shoulders.
Adagio nodded her head as she looked at everyone. "In all favor of Sunset going up raise your hand."
Everyone raised their hands. It was probably the best decision, to be honest. As Sunset left the room and to Sonata's room, the air was tense. If Sunset couldn't change things then could you? After about four minutes Sunset came out she looked with a serious expression.
"I was able to calm her down but that was about it." Sunset said as she then sat back down.
Well, at least she was able to calm her down. Wait? How come Sonata wasn't going to therapy then? Another thing you also just realized. Where were her parents?
You turn to Adagio and Aria. "Adagio, Aria, has Sonata gone to therapy? Also, where are your guys parents at?"
"She did for a week and a half but that didn't do any good for her." Adagio looked down sadly. "And as for our parents, they had to go out of town for something, so they left Sonata to us."
Sonata's parents left their daughter that is suicidal alone? What kind of parents would do that? But, at the same time maybe they didn't know she was, heck, no one did not even you until earlier today. Well, at least everyone was here now for her.
"Well, who's next?" Flash asked then spoke up snapping you out of your thoughts.
"Can I go? I think I know a way that could help." Twilight said as she raised her glasses a bit.
"Fine but Twilight, maybe keep your brain to an amount to where Sonata can understand." Sunset said with a smile.
Twilight smiled back at Sunset. "I'll try but no promises."
Yeah, that wasn't going to happen. Twilight be less smart than she is? It'll be a miracle if that actually happened. In fact, Sonata would probably fall asleep to Twilight... which that would actually be a good thing. After ten minutes Twilight came back downstairs and she looked disappointed.
"I tried but it still didn't corroborate with her." Twilight said as she looked down in shame.
"Did ya speak in English and not in ya geek talk." Applejack asked her.
Twilight nodded. "For once yes, but that still didn't work."
"That's it!!" Rainbow yelled standing up. "Pinkie go up there and make Sonata better!"
"Okie dokie lokie. I'll make her frown turn upside down." Pinkie said as she ran up the stairs.
It felt like an hour since Pinkie had gone to Sonata's room. Finally, you heard a door open and then close. Pinkie came back with her hair down... she... failed? That's impossible this must be some sort of joke.
"Pinkie are you ok?" Sunset asked as she walked over to Pinkie.
"I couldn't help her... I tried everything but she didn't crack." Pinkie said as she looked down.
"Well Anon, it's all up to you." Sunset said as she and the other's looked at you.
You looked at them and nodded your head. "Ok, I'll do my best."
You walk up the stairs to Sonata's room, you felt nauseous as you took each step. As you walk into the room there was total darkness. In the darkness on Sonata's bed was a big lump, you took a better look and noticed that it was Sonata in a pile of blankets. You turn on the lights and the lump looks up. There you see Sonata looking back at you... she was crying.
"Hey, Sonata." You said looking at Sonata as you gave her a small smile.
Sonata looked back at you. "Hi, Anon."
You looked back at her, you could tell she was depressed just by hearing her voice. "So... how are you?" You silently cringe, you knew how was she doing!
Sonata just looked at you and then looked down. "... Anon... can I ask you a question?"
You nodded your head. "Yeah of course what is it."
Sonata then looked back at you. "Am I an idiot?"
You looked at her surprised. "What? Of course, you're not."
Sonata looked down, she was doing a lot of that you noticed. "I feel like one. I thought he loved me, I really did. The first person I had a crush on and they do this. Even though we've broken up it still hurts. Why does it hurt so much, Anon?" She then looks up at you looking for answers.
You looked at her, you knew how she felt. "Well, you're not the only one that's had their heart broken."
"Who broke your heart?" Sonata asked looking up at you surprised.
"It doesn't matter now." You said as you took a seat next to her on her bed. "They say love can be a memory that no one can steal but love can also be a pain that no one can heal."
You owned your dad for that advice. He said girls like poetry.
Sonata looked at you surprised. "Wow Anon, that's sweet of you. But as long as Dusk Shine's near I'll still feel like I'm in danger. Even if Aria and Adagio are nearby. I just want to be safe and free from him."
You looked at Sonata as you put your hand on her cheek. "Sonata look at me. No matter what I promise you, you're going to be safe you have my word."
"Thank you, Anon." Sonata said as she hugs you.
You smile, at least Sonata felt better. Sonata lets go of the hug and gives you a kiss on the cheek. You feel the heat rise to your cheeks but you shake it off.
"Thank you, Anon, good luck at the tournament." Sonata said. "Win this thing and beat Dusk Shine!"
You smiled. "Thanks, Sonata. I'll be sure to do that for you!"
As you and Sonata walked downstairs you didn't know that a new villain was coming to town.
In another town, Aaron was in a hotel. He had just got there from his airplane. His phone starts to ring and it was his wife.
"Hello." Aaron answered. "Yes, I'm in a town nearby. I'll come by in two days. Yes, I'll like to see our son. Ok, goodbye."
Only time will tell if this new villain would be a threat or not.
