You had known it all along. Dusk Shine was abusing Sonata and you didn't do anything about it. He probably did threaten her so that's why she hasn't told anyone about all the abuse. Now thinking about it she was probably about to tell you before he came along, that was probably why she was shaking in fear. You felt stupid for not being there for her. You couldn't be there for her before but you can now. As you kept running down the halls you finally found him, Dusk Shine. The idiot that you were going to kill for what he had done to her. He was talking to Blueblood, now was your perfect chance to jump him, well by yourself. Flash and the girls were right behind you running after you.
"DUSK SHINE!!" You yelled running toward him.
As Dusk Shine was turning around he couldn't speak because you threw the most hardest punch you could throw and it connected with his face. He falls to the ground holding his jaw. He looks up at you in shock and anger.
"What was that all about Anon?" Dusk Shine asked you looking at you a bit pissed.
"What was that all about? I'll tell you what it was about! YOU ABUSE SONATA THAT'S WHAT!! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO HER!!" You yelled at him. Angry completely taking over your mind and body.
Dusk Shine looks up at you and he is surprisingly happy. He isn't mad and he isn't fighting back. If fact, even after you just punched him in the jaw with all your might, he looked at you with a bright smile on his face. "Come on Anon we all know Sonata is an idiot. I know your mad but come on, it's not my fault she's a complete failure."
You froze, a failure? Sonata may be ditzy but she isn't a failure, no one was! And who does he think he is? Thinking just because he's popular he can talk to people and treat people however he wanted to, it wasn't right. That was what you hate about popular people the most, their big ego thinking they're better than everyone else when really they weren't. You get in his face and you try to slap him but he grabs your arm and gives it a twist.
"Do you want to start something right now?" Dusk Shine said as he continued to twist your arm.
You looked at him with a sinister glare. "You bet." As you then tackled him to the ground.
Blueblood tries to pull you off of Dusk Shine but he was then suddenly jumped by Aria. Aria tackles the man right into his locker causing him to fall to the ground and hold his head in pain. Flash and Adagio come around the corner and see what was happening. Adagio tries to get into the fight but Flash holds her back. Adagio tried to escape from his grasp but he wasn't letting go anytime soon.
You were able to land a punch to his gut before Dusk Shine kicks you off of him. You then stand up, Dusk Shine tries to throw a punch but you dodged it and then gave him a kick to his stomach. Dusk Shine stands up and lands a right hook on your face. You step back, you hadn't expected that but that's fine. Dusk Shine tries to kick you in the face but you catch it. You then trip his other foot making him fall on his back. You then put him in a choke hold but he's being stubborn and not tapping out like you wanted him to do. After a while, he started tapping out slapping his hand on the ground.
His face was going all red, now just because you're mad your not evil. In class, they say that if the person is tapping you should stop. But should you? After all that he did to Sonata, this should be revenge! But no, then you would be not better than him. You sighed as you then eased up on the chock hold and you let him go. He's on the ground coughing like a madman. Did you just win against the school champion? That was kinda easy, you look back at Flash and Adagio. Adagio is jumping up and down in happiness, while Flash was surprised but then smiled at you. Aria and Blueblood were still fighting so you decided to walk over there to break it up.
As you were walking over there, you were then slammed by an elbow to the face. Then a kick to the leg, and then finally a kick to the stomach. You fall to the ground, you look up and see its Dusk Shine looking down at you with a smile. He tricked you, and you fell for it! You jump back up 'Ok we're playing dirty let's play dirty' You start to throw a punch to his face and he proceeds to dodge it. But when he does, you kick him in his manly part. He falls to the ground and you kick him in the face. This fight had only begun.
The others had finally found Celestia and Luna and they were headed to find you guys. As for Sonata, she has just gotten out of the bathroom finishing all her crying. She sees everyone so she decides to follow them. To say she was surprised to see almost all the school looking at something would be an understatement.
You hadn't noticed when the crowd of kids came but you didn't care. You were in the zone and you were seeing red. Dusk Shine's friends had to pull Aria off of Blueblood. So now it was just you and Dusk Shine, just the way you wanted it. You were persistent to beat Dusk Shine no matter what. Were you hurting? Sure, but it didn't matter. You were able to give Dusk Shine a black eye in the process. You were starting to wind up a punch. But as the two of you were fighting you both didn't notice the principals or Sonata. Time starts to go in slow motion to you the both of you throw punches at each other but before they can land you hear someone... Sonata.
"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!" Sonata yelled.
You turn back and see that it's Sonata, and she was crying. Then you see the principles and all your friends. You stop your punch but when you did you then felt a sharp pain hit you in the nose. Dusk Shine had punched you right in the face. You started to feel yourself fall back as your head then hits a locker with a loud bang. Your vision starts to go foggy you try to stand up but you can't. You hear someone calling your name but you can't speak. Your vision was soon taken up by darkness. Dusk Shine had just won the fight. You failed, not only to yourself but to your friends and especially... Sonata.
You wake up feeling like you had just got hit by a train. Then you remembered what had happened in the hallway. You were in the doctor's office and you heard her talking, she probably talking to Celestia or Luna, or even worse, your parents. The nurse walks back in and sees you she then goes back outside to get someone. Both Celestia and Luna then walk in and look down at you.
"Anon, we're glad to see you're ok. Now if you can, can you follow us to my office." Celestia said as she looked at you.
"Yes ma'am." You respond as you got up from the bed.
They were glad to see you were ok but now they're sending you to the office, real assuring as you rolled your eyes. You walk into the principal's office, it wasn't the first time being there but it was always something going in there. You look around and see Dusk Shine in a chair. He has an ice pack on his eye and he looks mad. You take a seat far away from him not looking in his direction.
"Well, it has come to our attention that the two of you fighting. We've already gotten the video footage from Twilight as well as everyone's stories but we would still like to hear from you Anon. Why did you do it?" Celestia asked looking over at you.
"Ma'am, with all due respect you saw the video. He hit Sonata, my friend. Of course, I would do something like this. Look I'm sorry for what I did, but I'm not apologizing to him." You said. Celestia looks like she was expecting this from you.
"Now how I would give you two a week of suspension. Luna had a different plan of punishment for you two." Celestia said as she turned to her sister.
"As you two are my students I'll give you two both punishment of my choice. But if either one of you doesn't do it you will have to forfeit the tournament." Luna says seriously.
You flinched. You needed to enter that tournament. "I'll do it."
Dusk Shine looked at Luna and then rolled his eyes as he scoffed. "Whatever."
Luna nodded her head. "Good, now Dusk Shine, you will not only apologize to Sonata but you will also have on school suspension for a week. As for you, Anon you will not be allowed to go to the club for a week."
"Ok." You and Dusk Shine both say.
"That is all. Oh, and Anon, would you want an ice pack?" Celestia asked you.
You nodded your head. "Yes ma'am."
After you got your ice pack you left the office. You then hear talking around the corner, and when you turn the corner you see Dusk Shine. It looked as though Dusk Shine was trying to apologize to Sonata... well trying to. But Adagio wasn't having any of it, it was taking four of the girls to hold her back. You then see Sonata come from behind them and walks over to him. You flinch, if Dusk Shine even dared tried doing something to Sonata you were going to rip his head off.
Sonata then stood right in front of him not backing down. "We're done, I'm breaking up with you. I can't believe you would do that to Anon."
"Whatever." Dusk Shine shrugged. "Just so you know I always get my way."
"You ever step one inch from my sister I'll do more than give you a black eye!" Adagio yelled as she was still being held back. "You're lucky it was Anon you were fighting and not me!"
Dusk Shine doesn't seem to care as he proceeds to just walk away. You look back at the others and they see you. Even Pinkie Pie someone that was always smiling was frowning. Are they mad at you? Or are they sad? Your thoughts go away when you feel something touch you. You look down it's Sonata and she's crying into your jacket.
"I-I'm s-sorry it's a-all my f-fault." Sonata said as she cried into your jacket.
You look down at Sonata and smile as you pat her head. "No, it's not it's Dusk Shine's. You're safe now." Sonata looks up at you and smiles with tears running down her eyes. She mouths thank you as she hugs you.
After you finish your hug with Sonata you told everyone that you decided to head home early for the day. After what had happened you didn't want to be at school for a while. Flash said he'll get a copy of the homework for you and you thanked him. You actually didn't think about it until you got closer but how would your parents react? Mad? Sad? Happy? Doubt that. As you got to the door to your house you try to get to your room without being caught... key word being try.
"Back home early aren't we Anonymous." A voice called out.
You flinch, you knew that voice all too well. You slowly turn around to see that it's your mother and father looking at you, and they didn't look so happy to see you. "H-Hi mom, dad."
