"Ability, Activate!" Flash held up a card as it glowed, whilst Leonidas' mouth filled with lightning. "Alpha Blaster!"
"COME GET SOME!" Leonidas unleashed the laser and struck the opposing Subterra Stinglash. The scorpion cried out as the laser knocked it back and caused it to revert back to ball form, dropping its owner's life gauge down to zero.
"And that's it!" The announcer cried, "another win for Flash and Leonidas!" The crowd cheered as Leonidas returned to Flash, the two laughing at their victory. Several days had passed since their reunion as partners and in that time, the two had really turned a corner.
Not only were they now winning non-stop brawls, they were growing closer as friends. "That was awesome Leo," Flash told the Bakugan as they left the stadium. "That moment when you uppercut Manion, that was awesome."
"Wouldn't have worked it you hadn't used Dragon Flash to speed me up," Leonidas replied. "Good call." Flash nodded back as the two arrived in the main area, spotting Lyra and Bonnie sitting at one of the tables.
"Hey guys," Flash smirked. "Did you see my awesome win?"
"We just got here," Bonnie told him. "But we did watch the final match on the monitor."
"Indeed," Nimue agreed, "it's clear the two of you are getting more and more in sync."
"Well we have Twilight to thank for that," Flash told her. "I'm glad she didn't give up on us as a team." He looked around, "you guys seen Twilight?" Bonnie smiled at this.
"Missing her already?" Flash blushed at this, causing her to laugh. "Sorry lover-boy. She said something about staying behind to work on a project she has due." She then gave him a look, "I hope you haven't let brawling make you forget about your homework?" Flash's eyes went wide.
"Awe, nuts!" Flash turned to run off, "see you guys later!" With that, he was out of the stadium and gone in a flash. Bonnie and Nimue laughed at this.
"Those two," Nimue then turned to Lyra. She had noticed the girl hadn't been speaking, and the look she saw on her face confirmed her suspicions. "Milady?" Lyra finally seemed to respond, turning to her. "Is something wrong?"
"I'm fine," Lyra told them.
"Really?" Bonnie asked, "you don't look fine. You look like someone just took the last of your favourite chocolate. What's wrong?"
"Nothing," Lyra told them before standing up, "I'm fine." She grabbed Nimue and started making her way towards the exit. "I gotta get home. See you later."
"Alright," Bonnie waved her off, "see you." Lyra left the stadium, whilst Bonnie simply frowned. "Something's definitely up with her." She hoped she could find out what it is and help her through it, but currently had to worry about being completely alone now. Flash and Lyra were gone, Twilight was talking to some other friends she didn't know and Derpy was off doing...something for her job. "Might as well go home myself." She got up and walked towards the exit, whilst trying to think of a way to help her best friend get out of her funk.
In another part of the city on a busy street, multiple people were making their way to where they needed to go.
However, many came to a stop when they spotted a table of the side of the street that had a young girl behind it. She was a blue skinned girl with silvery white hair, wearing a blue hoodie and skirt.
A small crowd had gathered around the young girl. The table she stood behind had three identical cups, which she started moving around. "Gather round, gather round. Test your luck with the great and powerful Trrrixie!" She lifted the center cup, revealing a Haos Bakugan. "Just remember, keep your eye on the prize." She put the ball back and dropped the cup, which she started spinning around. "Find the Bakugan and you'll have won."
From out of the crowd, a man in a business suit stepped out and placed a dollar down on the table. "I'll give it a try." The girl smiled before upping the pace, the man following the cup he had seen her put the Bakugan under until she stopped.
"Which one is hiding the Bakugan." The man didn't know what a Bakugan was, but he knew where that plastic ball was. He grabbed one of the cups and picked it up, only to find nothing under it. "Oh, too bad." She looked around, "anyone else wanna try their luck?"
Before anyone could say yes, something shot down from above. A pair of Darkus Bakugan flew passed the crowd's shoulders and hit the two other cups and knocked them over, revealing neither held a Bakugan.
The crowd saw this and went wide eyed, then turned to glare at the girl named Trixie. The man she had swindled was extremely ticked off. She smiled a nervous smile as he and his friends glared at her, all stepping forward to give her a piece of their minds. "Time to go." She took something out of her pocket and tossed it to the ground, causing a large puff of smoke to appear around her. When the smoke faded, Trixie was gone.
In an alleyway, Trixie was panting heavily trying to get her breath back.
"That was too close," she whispered before letting out a growl. "When I find who ruined my trick-"
"You'll what?" She stopped before looking around, not seeing anyone. But then she spotted a fifteen foot wall at the end of the alley and sitting atop it was the figure known as Phantom. He was flipping a Darkus Bakugan in his hand, showing he was the one responsible for getting her in trouble.
"What's the big idea, ruining Trixie's spectacular performance?"
"I wouldn't exactly call that spectacular," Phantom replied. "Makes me wonder if your brawling skills are as good as they say, or are they as pathetic as those lame illusions you were pulling off."
"Excuse me?" Trixie frowned, "why don't we go to the colosseum and Trixie will show you why she's know and the great and powerful."
"Why go to the colosseum?" Phantom stood up and walked forward, falling off the wall and shooting towards the ground until he landed easily on the ground. "We can have a brawl right here and now." He held up his collared wrist before a flash of light suddenly exploded out of the screen. Trixie was shocked by this and let out a scream as the light filled the alleyway.
And as soon as the light appeared, it disappeared.
"AAARRRHHH!" Trixie cried as she staggered backwards and fell to the floor, whilst Phantom held up his cube as the Haos and Darkus symbols glowed.
"Not bad," he told her. "I guess you'll do?"
"Do for what?" Trixie asked before seeing something flying at her, catching it and taking a better look. "A Bakugan?" She opened it up and it wasn't one she recognised.
"Your payment," Phantom turned away. "Find the Brawler named Flash Sentry and sieze his Haos Leonidas. Do that and you can keep that Bakugan. Fail and I'll take it back." With that, he leapt up onto the wall.
"Wait!" Trixie cried, but Phantom jumped down onto the other side. Once he was gone, she smirked before looking at the Bakugan. "Flash Sentry? He must be really good if he's shelling out such a rare Bakugan for his." She got up and headed out of the alleyway, "this will be the perfect chance the prove why Trixie is so amazing."
Lyra sighed as she stepped into her apartment building, where she and her parents lived.
Both her parents were still at work and had already text her saying they would be home late, a regular thing, leaving her to crash down onto her couch and stick her head into the cushion. At the same time, Nimue leapt out of her pocket and opened up on the table.
"Alright, are you going to tell me what's wrong now?"
"I'm fine," Lyra told her.
"No, you're not. You're upset about something and if you don't tell me, I won't be able to help." She waited, but Lyra stayed quiet for a moment. Then she rolled over and sat up.
"Fine, it's Flash."
"Flash?"
"Not just him. Ever since he and Leonidas started working together, they've been all anyone talks about. Flash, the guy with the talking Bakugan. They've completely overshadowed us."
"So you're jealous?" Nimue asked.
"No. I just...wish a few people would acknowledge us. Or at least challenge us to a brawl. But no, all they care about is Flash and Leonidas."
"I see," Lyra sat back on the couch. "I'm sorry you feel this way, but I'm sure people will start to notice us soon. Although, it's not like they have a reason to know about us. After all, you haven't used me in a brawl yet."
"I know," Lyra nodded. "But I plan on starting in our next brawl, now that I know what you can do and what strategies might work with you."
"Then our next brawl shall be our grand debut, and the world shall finally see how amazing we are." She leapt off the table and landed on Lyra's knee, the girl smiling at her.
"Thanks Nimue."
"Any time milady." They both laughed before Lyra switched on the TV so they could find something to watch.
Back in the other part of the city, Trixie had finished going over her plan for the morrow.
With her new Bakugan in hand and all its tricks up her sleeves, she knew she could claim victory over Flash Sentry and his special Bakugan. "Just wait," she told the boy she was after. "By this time tomorrow, your Bakugan will be in the possession of the great and powerful TRRRRIXIE!"
With that, she took out a pen and some paper before beginning to write something down. She already knew how she was going to get Flash to brawl her and it would be an experience to behold.
The next day.
Lyra walked into the stadium after school and looked around, seeing she was the first to arrive there. Maybe she could use this opportunity to get into a brawl and finally prove herself.
She spotted Derpy at the front desk, having just arrived herself and looking worried. "Hey," she moved over to her, "is something wrong Derpy?" The girl looked up before holding out a piece of paper.
"I think Flash is being challenged by Phantom again." Lyra's eyes went wide as she took the piece of paper. "A girl showed up a few minutes ago and left that note, telling me to give it to Flash when he showed." Lyra opened it up and red it out.
Greetings Sentry.
I have been sent to defeat you and take your Haos Leonidas. You may run if you wish, but know that this will forever brand you a coward. But if you wish to accept, meet me at Stadium G and discover why I was chosen to best you.

She re-read the note a few more times and knew this was Phantom's doing. Like Thunderlane before, he had sent someone to take Leonidas and had likely armed them with a super strong Bakugan. "This is it," she whispered.
"What's it?" Derpy asked as Nimue jumped out of Lyra's pocket and opened up on the desk.
"Milady?" Lyra showed her the note.
"This is totally the chance we've been waiting for. Our turn to...like...show everyone we're just as good as Flash and Leonidas." She held out her hand, "ready to go brawl?"
Nimue laughed at her eagerness, glad she was finally back to her old self. "If you wish to face this girl, then I'll be with you one hundred percent of the way." She folded up and jumped into Lyra's hands as the girl rushed off, Derpy calling out to her as she disappeared into the hallway leading Stadium G.
Lyra eventually arrived at the stadium and stopped in front of the door, taking a deep breath as she prepared herself. "This isn't gonna be an easy match."
"Maybe," Nimue leapt onto her shoulder, "but that's why our victory shall be even more impressive. And as long as we stick together, victory will be ours." Lyra smiled with a nod before pushing the doors open and stepping inside. The sound of cheers filled her ears as she looked ahead and saw the girl named Trixie standing in the center of the stadium.
She smiled at the sound of the doors opening. "So," she began to turn, "you accepted my challenge. A foolish move Flash-" She stopped when she spotted Lyra, "who are you?"
"Lyra Heartstrings," she replied. "And I am here to accept your challenge."
Trixie raised an eyebrow, "there appears to have been a mistake. Trixie challenged Flash Sentry, not you."
Lyra smirked. "Well, if you want them then you're going to have to get passed me first." She held up her Bakugan, "I'm not gonna let you anywhere near them if you're working for Phantom."
"Phantom?" Trixie asked before smirking, "so that's his name. Yes, Trixie was sent to face Sentry on Phantom's orders. And unless she takes his Bakugan, he'll be taking his payment back."
"And like I said, you'll have to get passed me to get to them. So what do you say? Unless you're scared." This aggravated Trixie, who glared at her.
"Trixie fears nothing. Very well. This will be a good chance to test out the Bakugan I was given. I shall master it and take your Bakugan before focusing on Flash Sentry."
Lyra smiled, "You can try." The crowd cheered, glad they were going to get an actual brawl instead of watching Trixie's lame magic tricks.
The announcer spoke up. "Welcome Baku-fans. We have an interesting match today. It was supposed to feature Flash Sentry, but in his place is the lady of the lake herself. Lyra Heartstrings." The crowd cheered, though Lyra noted not as loudly as they probably would have for Flash. "And her opponent. The master of miss-direction. Trixie Lulamoon!" The crowd cheered again at Trixie flicked her hair.
"There's still time to surrender before Trixie humiliates you." She turned to Lyra and saw her smirk.
"Funny. I was about to tell you the same thing." Trixie frowned, now more determined to beat her then ever.
"Let's see where our Brawlers will be facing off against one another today!" The announcer cried. It was then that the floor below them began to glow, causing the stadium around them to transform into a giant colosseum made entirely of crystal. Large crystal pillars lined the walls and crystal stars stood atop them. And from each point of the star, a jet of water flew out and rained down upon the stadium. The entire floor was covered in an inch of water, whilst the air was filled with floating crystal platforms and power up coins. "It's the Water Crystal Stadium. They're sure to be in for a splash."
"Hilarious," Nimue stated from Lyra's shoulder. "But I can handle this stadium no problem."
"We'll see," Lyra said as watched Trixie take out what appeared to be a Haos Bakugan. "I get the feeling this girl's got a few tricks up her sleeve."
"More then a few," Trixie told her. "But why waste time talking. I'll just show you what I've got."
"Fine by me," Lyra told her.
"Are both Brawlers ready?" The announcer asked, the two girls nodding back to him. "Then without further ado. Bakugan...BRAWL!" With that, Lyra and Trixie's BakuColars beeped to signal the battle's start with both showing their current life gauges.
Lyra: 100%
Trixie: 100%
"Gate Card!" Trixie held up a card and threw it, the card hitting the water and exploding with a burst of golden light. "Set!" She then clutched her Bakugan and began to run until she leapt up onto a crystal platform. "Bakugan," she threw it, "BRAWL!" The ball managed to hit three power-ups before landing in the water. "Bakugan," it popped open, "STAND!" The Bakugan exploded with light. "Haos Hynoid, RISE!"
The light faded to reveal a giant cream wolf with white fur and armour, which jumped up onto its back feet and stood tall.
Hynoid: 360Gs
The wolf then glowed as its power rose up.
Hynoid: 510Gs
"Interesting play," the announcer exclaimed. "How will Lyra respond?"
"I'm ready?" Nimue told her, but Lyra shook her head.
"Not yet," she took out another Bakugan. "I wanna get a handle on her play style before sending in the big guns. Hang back."
Nimue sighed, "very well." Lyra nodded back before putting Nimue in her pocket and running. She leapt onto a crystal, then another crystal before leaping off.
"Bakugan," she threw it, "BRAWL!" The Bakugan flew through the air, slamming through a stream of water, and hit four power-ups before landing in the water. "Bakugan...STAND!" It popped open before unleashing a tornado of water. "Aquos Abis Omega, STAND!" The tornado to reveal a large blue snake with a fin on its head and two fish fins on the side of its body.

Abis Omega hissed as the power-ups kicked in and increased its power.

"Ability," Trixie held up a card, "Activate!" The card glowed along with Hynoid's armour, "Blinding Light!" The light grew so bright that Abis Omega was forced to close its eyes.

This was all Hynoid needed, the wolf getting onto all fours and charge. It then leapt forward and swung its claws, slashing the serpent in the face. Abis Omega hissed in pain as it fell back, but Lyra wasn't done. "Ability, Activate!" She held up a card as it glowed, "Spiral Vapour!" Abis Omega opened its mouth and unleashed cloud of mist, which hung in the air in front of it. It then flapped its wing-like fins and caused a wind that picked up the water and formed a tornado that flew towards Hynoid and slammed into it.

The wolf roared as it was knocked backwards, whilst Abis Omega used the chance to get in close and then wrapped its body around Hynoid. "That's it!" Lyra told her Bakugan, "wrap it up so it can't attack."
"Not so fast," Trixie explained before pointing to the ground. "Gate Card, OPEN!" The ground began to glow, that light flying towards Hynoid and getting absorbed. "Haos Reactor!"

Hynoid's increased strength allowed it to pushed Abis Omega's grip open before leaping out. It then spun around and charged, claws ready. But Lyra wasn't going to let it end this easily, holding up a card. "Ability, Activate!" The card glowed before Abis Omega unleashed a burst of freezing air that struck the ground and turned the hole thing to ice. "Frozen Land!"

Hynoid suddenly slipped on the ice and began to slide toward Abis Omega, who spun around and struck the wold with its leaf-shaped tail end. Hynoid roared in pain as it was sent flying before reverting back to ball fall, the ball falling down to hit the frozen water.
That water quickly melted as Trixie's life gauge went down.

Trixie: 82%
"Looks like Lyra takes the lead," the announcer cried as Abis Omega returned to her. "Is this going to continue, or will Trixie find a way to even the odds."
Lyra chuckled as Trixie picked up her Bakugan, "not bad for a nobody, huh?"
Trixie then smiled back, "don't get to cocky. Trixie hasn't even begun to show everything she has."
Back at the entrance, Flash and Twilight had just stepped inside and Bonnie wasn't far behind them.
But as soon as they arrived, they suddenly heard Derpy cry out. "GUYS!" They turned to see she was looking frantic, "we have a problem!" They rushed over to her and asked what was going on, Derpy quickly explaining the situation.
"Lyra's brawling somebody sent by Phantom?" Flash asked as Leonidas leapt onto his shoulder.
"If Phantom sent them, they must be strong."
"Then we've gotta go help her!" Flash was about to run towards the colosseum, but Bonnie jumped in front of him.
"Hold it!" She cried, "you can't stop this now that it's started. This is Lyra's brawl, so we need to let her see it through to the end."
"I'm with Bonnie," Twilight agreed. "Lyra's a strong brawler and she's got Nimue. I'm sure she's anything but helpless." Flash frowned, clearly not liking this. "But we can still go support her and be ready if something happens." This Flash was on board with, the lot rushing towards the stadium whilst Derpy told them to wish Lyra good luck for her.
They just hoped it wasn't to late.
"Gate Card!" Lyra threw the card, "SET!" It hit the ground and exploded before the girls ran to jump onto the nearest platform. They climbed higher and higher until the finally leapt off and threw their Bakugan.
"Bakugan...BRAWL!" The two flew through the air, hitting some power-ups, then landed in the water. "Bakugan," they opened up, "STAND!" In an explosion of water and Light, the Bakugan appeared whilst powering up thanks to the coins.

"Ability," Lyra held up a card, "Activate!" It glowed as Abis Omega unleashed the mist, "Spiral Vapour!" With a flap of its wings, it formed the tornado and set it flying towards Hynoid.

"Not this time," Trixie told her before holding up a card. "Ability, Activate!" It glowed along with another Bakugan ball, which floated next to Trixie before shooting towards the battlefield. "Rapid Haos!" The Bakugan hit the ground and opened up, unleashing a bright light that quickly faded to reveal a new Bakugan that looked like a giant robotic squid covered in pipes and tubes.
"Not good," Lyra realised before looking down at her BakuColar.

Abis Omega: 550Gs
Freezer swung its tentacle around and hit the tornado, dispersing it as Hynoid charged and slashed at Abis Omega.
"Double Ability, Activate!" Lyra held up two cards as they glowed. "Maelstrom Guard, plus Water Bullet!" A water tornado appeared around Abis Omega, who then started firing blasts of water that struck Hynoid and knocked it backwards.

"Nice try," Lyra told her. "Even two against one, I can still take you."
"We'll see," Trixie held up another card. "Ability, Activate!" Freezer held up one of its tentacles, "Freeze Jail!" It then unleashed shockwaves that struck the water tornado. Seconds later, the tornado vanished to reveal Abis Omega completely frozen solid.
"Abis Omega!" Lyra cried, then looked down to see the Bakugan's G Powers were the same. But it also told her she couldn't use any abilities for a while.
"You're open!" Trixie held up a card, "Ability, Activate!" Hynoid's claws glowed and extended, "Razor Brilliance!"

Hynoid charged forward, ready to end this round. At the same time, Nimue turned to Lyra. "You have to do something!" Lyra nodded and took out another Bakugan, flipping it in the air and catching it.
"Bakugan, BRAWL!" She threw the Bakugan and it landed between Abis Omega and Hynoid, "Bakugan...STAND!" The Bakugan exploded into a tornado of water, which Hynoid slashed at but felt its claws hit something hard. "Aquos Terrorclaw, stand!" The water faded to reveal a giant grab Bakugan.
Hynoid+Freezer: 910Gs
Abis Omega+Terrorclaw: 1110Gs
Trixie frowned at this, thinking she had had this battle won. But she wasn't done yet and held up two cards. "Double Ability, Activate!" The cards glowed along with her Bakugan. "Pack Attack, plus Psychic Thunder!" Freeze pointed its head down, revealing a glass top that showed a large brain. That brain unleashed a burst of electricity that flew out and struck Terrorclaw, it roared at this whilst Hynoid ran around it. At the same time, Pack Attack activated and gave it a hundred Gs for every Bakugan Trixie had out.

Abis Omega+Terrorclaw: 1010Gs
Hynoid that leapt forward and slashed the still frozen Abis Omega, making it cry out and fall to the ground with a hiss before reverting back to ball form.

"Ouch!" The announcer cried, "Trixie really pulled a fast one there. Now Lyra's behind and what's worse, she's lost a lot of power now that Abis Omega's gone." Lyra looked down at her BakuColar and saw he was right.

Terrorclaw: 210Gs
"Throw me in," Nimue told her.
"Not yet," Lyra replied as Hynoid and Freezer focused on Terrorclaw. At this moment, Flash and the others arrived at the stadium. They looked down into the battlefield as Lyra pointed to the ground. "Gate Card, OPEN!" The field glowed with that light spreading to Trixie's Bakugan. "Power Dip!" The light flew off the two and into Terrorclaw, "this'll suck away two hundred Gs from each of your Bakugan."

"And now," Lyra held up a card. "Ability, Activate!" The card glowed along with both of the crab's claws, "Vice-Leech!" Before either Bakugan could stop it, Terrorclaw thrust its claws out and clamped them onto the two. Seconds later, both Bakugan began to glow and that light flew into the claws. "Now I can steal away a hundred Gs from each of you!"
Hynoid+Freezer: 510Gs

Trixie watched her Bakugan getting crushed, but couldn't think of a way to free them. "Let's try this," she held up a card, "Ability, Activate!" Some of Freezer's tentacles flew out and wrapped around Terrorclaw, "Shining Constriction!" They tightened around its claws, but they didn't seem to do anything.

"It's not enough," Trixie realised before both her Bakugan suddenly reverted back to ball form. They fell to the ground and caused a great splash as Trixie lost life points.
Lyra: 80%
Trixie: 42%
"Wow," the announcer cried. "Even though it was two against one, Lyra was able to win that round. Talk about major skills."
"Alright Lyra!" Bonnie cheered, "that's my girl."
"Oh yeah!" Lyra cheered as Terrorclaw returned to her, "that was like...totally awesome!" It was then she seemed to realised what she had said, whilst Nimue laughed.
"Yes, that was quite good. But let's not get careless."
Lyra nodded, "you're right." She turned to see Trixie picking up her Bakugan, seeing a look of confidence still on her face. "She still has one Bakugan left."
Trixie stared at her Bakugan before pulling out the one Phantom had given her. "Trixie thinks it's time to stop playing around and get serious." She took out a card and threw it towards the ground. "Gate Card...SET!" It hit the ground and exploded, bathing the field in light. And before Lyra could do anything, Trixie threw two Bakugan towards the ground. "Bakugan...BRAWL!" They hit the ground and popped open, "Bakugan....STAND!"
With a burst of light, the two Bakugan appeared before Lyra.
Hynoid+Freezer: 710
Lyra and Nimue stared up at the two, Lyra then turning to run as fast as she could before leaping onto a crystal platform. She continued to climb until she got high enough and then threw her Bakugan, the pair flying the air and hitting some power-ups. Abis Omega hit two and Terrorclaw hit three before landing on the ground. "Bakugan...STAND!" They popped open and appeared in a burst of water.

They then glowed thanks to the power-ups, boosting their powers.

"Looks like Lyra has the advantage once again. How will Trixie respond to this?"
"With her very best trick," Trixie smiled as she held up a card. "Ability, Activate!" The card glowed along with her activate Bakugan and the one still on the field. "Cosmic Illusion!" Before Abis Omega an Terrorclaw could attack, Hynoid and Freezer suddenly disappeared.
"Where'd they go?" Lyra asked until she saw something. Light, which appeared where the Bakugan had been. And that light quickly transformed into the ghostly images of Hynoid and Freezer. "What are those things?"
"Ghost Mirages," Nimue replied. "Energy bodies that can lend their power to another Bakugan. Look up." She did and spotted the Bakugan's ball forms floating above the Ghost Mirages. "They can't fight or use abilities, but they also can't be defeated in battle. It's a powerful ability I've seen other Bakugan use. But neither of them should be able to use it."
"Maybe not," Trixie had heard her. "But it's also a special ability that can be used, even if the Bakugan isn't on the field." It was then that she held up a Bakugan, which was glowing yellow. "Prepare to witness the full might of the great and powerful...TRIXIE! Bakugan," she threw the ball, "Brawl!" It hit the ground and rolled through the water for several seconds before slowing down. "Bakugan...STAND!" The ball popped open and unleashed a light, which grew before taking shape. "Haos Trickstar!"
The light faded to reveal what looked like a man dressed like a kid's magician, only its cloths were white in place of black and yellow in place of red. He carried a silver novelty wand that had a star on it and its cape and hate were covered in stars. Its face was covered in a V for vendetta mask.
"No way," Lyra had never seen this Bakugan before. She then remembered what Nimue had said and looked down at her BakuColar.

"Lyra's in trouble," Flash realised.
Twilight nodded. "With the other Bakugan unable to be knocked out, her only hope is to defeat Trickstar. And that could be difficult."
"Ability, Activate!" Lyra cried as Abis Omega unleashed burst of water at Trickstar, "Water Bullet!"

The magician leapt to the side in order to dodge the blasts, whilst Lyra held up another card. "Ability, Activate!" Terrorclaw charged, "Crab-Hammer!" Its claw glowed and it swung it at Trickstar.

The claw swung down and almost struck Trickstar, who held up his hands and caught it. The two were dead even, but Trixie was about to change that. "Ability, Activate!" Trickstar began to glow, "Lupin Divide!" In a flash of light, Trickstar vanished before five Trickstar appeared around Terrorclaw.

"Lyra," Nimue cried to her, "it's now or never. You have to throw me in!" Lyra nodded as was about grab Nimue, but Trixie was one step ahead of her.
"Gate Card, OPEN!" The ground began to glow. "No Entry!"
"What?" Lyra asked, only to see Nimue was glowing red. "What's happening?"
"No Entry," Trixie replied. "Now no new Bakugan can enter the battle. That means no backup for you."
"No fair!" Flash yelled as Trixie held up another card.
"Ability, Activate!" The Trickstar army each pulled out a bunch of playing cards, "Trump Strike!"

The Trickstar army threw the cards at Lyra's Bakugan, but she was a split second faster. "Double Ability, Activate!" Abis Omega was surrounded by a water tornado whilst Terrorclaw's shell glowed. "Maelstrom Guard, plus Shell Armour!"

The cards bounced off Terrorclaw but flew through the water and struck Abis Omega.

"Ability, Activate!" Trixie held up a card that glowed as all but one Trickstar vanished. That one then pointed its wand at Abis Omega, "Smoke-Sheen!" A bright light exploded out of the water that flew towards the snake and created a cloud of smoke that shined brightly and blinded Abis Omega as the water tornado vanished.

"DO IT!" Trixie cried as Trickstar charged forward and struck the snake with his fist, making it cry out in pain as it was thrown out of the cloud and reverted back to ball form.

"NO!" Lyra cried as her Bakugan fell to the floor, then looked down at her BakuColar. Without Abis Omega, Terrorclaw's power went way down.

"You're mine!" Trixie cried as Trickstar charged, but Lyra wasn't done yet.
"Triple Ability, ACTIVATE!" As Trickstar got closer, Terrorclaw thrust its claw out and grabbed it around the waist. "Vice-Leech, Plus, Bubble Blast, plus Hyper Clamp!" Terrorclaw began to squeeze Trickstar, stealing its power, then opened its mouth and unleashed a burst of bubbles that hit Trickstar's face and weakened it by a hundred points before the power of its claws increased some more.

Trickstar groaned as it was squeezed, but it wasn't enough to hurt it. And Trixie knew that. "It's over," she said as Trickstar pointed its wand at Terrorclaw and unleashed a burst of light that struck it in the face. Terrorclaw cried out as it was knocked backwards, releasing Trickstar and falling to the ground before reverting back to ball form.
"Ouch!" The announcer cried as Lyra's life gauge dropped. "Lyra was just able to save herself from defeat. But with Trixie's strategy, it looks like she might have this one in the bag."

Lyra reached down and picked up her Bakugan, and frown on her face. Meanwhile, Trixie was laughing as all her Bakugan returned to her. "This Bakugan is amazing. Definitely one worthy of Trixie's skill. No doubt, you'll be her new go to Bakugan. As long as Trixie has you, nobody will be able to beat her." She turned to Lyra, "too bad some people don't know how to use a strong Bakugan."
"I can use strong Bakugan," Lyra told her. "But being reliant on one particular Bakugan is never a good idea. It makes you predictable and easy to counter."
"Maybe it makes you that," Trixie replied. "But not a brawler with real talent."
"I'll show you real talent," Lyra held up a Gate Card before turning to Nimue. "It's time. Are you ready?"
"Of course," Nimue nodded. "Whatever you have planned, I will help." She turned to Trixie, "especially if it wipes that smug smirk of that horrible girl's face."
Lyra nodded as she held her other two Bakugan in her hands. "Please, lend us your strength." She turned back to Trixie, Gate Card in hand and ready to be put into place. "GATE CARD...SET!" She threw it and once again the field was covered in blue energy, whilst Trixie prepared her throw.
"Bakugan," she threw all three, "BRAWL!" They hit the water and rolled before popping open, "BAKUGAN STAND!" In a flash of light, all three of her Bakugan appeared.

"I'm ready," Nimue told Lyra. But she shook her head.
"Not yet." She then held up her own Bakugan and threw them. "Bakugan...BRAWL!" They hit the ground and rolled through the water, "Bakugan...STAND!" They popped open and unleashed torrents of water that quickly vanished to reveal her Bakugan.

"Ability, Activate!" Trixie held up a card that glowed along with her two weaker Bakugan, "Cosmic Illusion!" In a flash, Hynoid and Freezer returned to ball form and their Ghost Mirages appeared. Now Trickstar was the only Bakugan that could be attacked.
"My turn," Lyra told her before holding up three cards. "Triple Ability, Activate!" They glowed as her Bakugan charged. Spiral Vapour, plus Water Bullet, plus Hyper Clamp!" Terrorclaw charged as Abis Omega unleashed the tornado of water before firing water projectiles.

The water tornado struck Trickstar first, followed by the water bullets. These two attacks knocked Trickstar backwards, allowing Terrorclaw to get in close and grab it in its claw. The clown cried out as it was squeezed, but Trixie was prepared. "Ability, Activate!" The cards appeared in Trickstar's hand, "Trump Strike!"

Trickstar threw the cards and hit Terrorclaw's face, making it cry out and let Trickstar go. And as it did, Trixie played another card. "Ability, Activate!" Trickstar suddenly multiplied, "Lupin Divide!"

Everyone watched the Trickstar army running circles around the Aquos Bakugan, Nimue turning to her partner. "Lyra!"
"Not yet," Lyra replied before holding up two more cards. "Double Ability, Activate!" A tornado of water appeared around Abis Omega as Terrorclaw unleashed a bunch of bubbles. "Maelstrom Guard, plus Bubble Blast!" The bubbles struck each Trickstar and caused the fakes to vanish.

"Ha!" Trixie cried, "still not enough. Face it, you just can't hold a candle to Trixie's power."
Lyra frowned. "You know something. You talk to much." Trixie raised an eyebrow at something. "It's time someone put you in your place. And show you what happens when you seal your teammates away instead of working together and sharing your power."
"What?" Trixie asked before Lyra pointed to the ground.
"Gate Card...OPEN!" The floor began to glow a bright light, which spread to Lyra's Bakugan. "Avalon!"
"Avalon?" the magician asked, "Trixie's never heard of that Gate Card."
"Because it's very special," Lyra replied. "It's a Command Card that can only be used if you have an Aquos Nimue." The light flew off her Bakugan and flew over to Nimue, making her glow. "Now, by tributing my other Bakugan, I can add their power to Nimue along with an extra hundred Gs." Abis Omega and Terrorclaw suddenly reverted back to ball form, Lyra turning to Nimue. "Ready?"
"Of course," Nimue nodded before jumping off her shoulder and closing up. "Let's do this milady."
Lyra smiled as she caught Nimue before pulling her arm back. "Bakugan," she threw the ball forwards, "BRAWL!" Nimue flew through the air before hitting the ground. "Bakugan," she rolled along the ground and then popped open, "STAND!" Seconds later, the ball was consumed by a tornado of water, with a silhouette appearing within the water. "Aquos Nimue, RISE!"
The water exploded off the Bakugan, revealing her true form. She was a beautiful woman with blue skin, wearing a shoulderless dress that was a combo of dark and light blue. The dress had a length of fabric that went from the front of the dress, up and around her neck before returning down the other side and connected to the same spot. This and the top of her dress was light blue and stopped at her waist, where it turned dark blue and morphed into a skirt-like structure that went down to her knees. Under her skirt, she was wearing a pair of light blue leggings and dark blue boots with white fur around the top.
She also had two pieces of white fabric that went from her chest to around her arms below the shoulder and onto the back of her dress. Connected to this piece of fabric was yet another, longer, piece of transparent blue fabric that started at the shoulder fabric and was connected the a pair of dark blue bracelets she wore. Her head looked like that of a normal woman's, but instead of ears she had fins similar to the ones Abis Omega had on the side of its body. She also had a light blue helmet on her head and a long white ponytail that went all the way down to her knees.
"I am Aquos Nimue," she announced whilst moving like a graceful dancer. "And in the name of my fallen comrades, I shall end your tricks once and for all." Everyone was in awe at the sight of the beautiful Bakugan, whilst Trixie stared down

"Trixie won't let this end this way!" She cried before holding up a card. "Ability, Activate!" Trickstar pointed its wand at Nimue. "Smoke-Sheen!" In unleashed the light that hit Nimue and morphed into a cloud that blinded her.

"This won't be enough to stop me," Nimue told her. She suddenly heard something and leapt to the side, seconds before Trickstar flew passed trying to hit her. "If I can't see, I'll listen."
"Then how about this!" Trixie cried. "Ability, Activate!" Trickstar reached into its sleeve. "Scarf Binding!" In suddenly unleashed a rope made of yellow and white scarves, which flew into the light. Nimue cried out as the cloud faded, revealing she had been tied up with her arms bound to her sides. "How'd you like that.

"Not bad," Nimue smiled.
"But not good enough," Lyra stated as she held up a card. At the same time, Nimue managed to force the scarf rope open and leapt out. "Ability, Activate!" Nimue brought her hands together as a ball of mist appeared. "Vapour Blast!" As if doing the kamehameha, Nimue fired the mist ball forward and it exploded into a spray of moisture that struck Trickstar and knocked it staggering back.

Trixie growled at this, "fine!" She held up another card. "Fusion Ability, Activate!" The card glowed, "Ultimate Illusion!" Trickstar suddenly multiplied into seven, with each Trickstar taking out cards that they tossed at Nimue.
"Augh!" She cried as the cards slammed into her, exploding upon impact.
Nimue: 1410

"Go down!" Trixie yelled, "just fall already!"
"Never!" Nimue cried, "not after my friends gave so much go give me this chance."
"We won't lose," Lyra told her. "not to you and not to anyone." She held up a card, "Ability, Activate!" Nimue leapt up out of the range of the cards, as a ball of water appeared in her hands. "Overflow!" She threw the ball down and it struck the ground, exploding into a wave of water that flew out in all directions.
Lyra leapt up and managed to get onto a platform before the wave hit, but Trixie and Trickstar were both struck and knocked backwards. Not only them, but also the Ghost Mirages. And despite not being washed away, they both seemed to feel that.
"The problem with your Ghost Mirages, is that they're still classed as being on the field even though they can't be knocked out of battle."
Nimue landed, causing a loud splash as she spoke. "That means they can still be effected by abilities that lower G power, like Overflow."
Trixie picked herself up out of the water and looked down at her BakuColar, seeing her Bakugan's new points.
Nimue: 1410

"Impossible," she realised the only way that score could work was if her Bakugan's G power had been cut in half. "You won't get away with this!" Trixie cried before holding up a card. "Ability, Activate!" A large hat appeared above Trickstar before falling on him, that hat then multiplying into three. "Can you guess where Trickstar is?"
Nimue charged towards a hand before spinning around and slamming it with her leg, causing the hat to explode in a puff of smoke that got in her eyes. "What?"
"Too bad!" Trixie cried, "and for every wrong hat, you lose points."
Nimue: 1310
Hynoid+Freezer+Trickstar: 780
Nimue then turned to another hat and punched it, only to get hit with more smoke.

In this moment, Trickstar leapt out of the top of the final hat as Trixie played a card. "Ability, Activate!" The card glowed as Trickstar waved its wand, "Star Dazzle!" A bunch of stars shot out the wand and hit Nimue, blinding her

"I can still win!" Trixie cried.
"I don't think so," Lyra held up another card. "Fusion Ability, Activate!" Trixie's eyes went wide, as Nimue leapt up. "Current of Power!" The ball of water appeared again and Nimue fired it like Vapour Blast, creating a high pressured burst of water that shot at Trickstar and struck it head on.
Trickstar cried out as it was thrown backwards, it and Nimue's power changing.

Trixie gasped as Trickstar began to fall, eventually reverting back to ball form. It floated in the air for a second before shooting towards Lyra, whilst Trixie's life gauge dropped.
Lyra: 20% (Winner)
Trixie: 0%
"It's OVER!" The announcer yelled as Nimue returned to Lyra, the battlefield morphing back to norma. The crowd cheered, that final battle having seriously gotten their blood pumping. "Let's give it up for our amazing victor, who managed to defy the odds and claim victory. Lyra HEARTSTRINGS!" Again, the crowd cheered as Lyra smiled.
She then turned to Trixie, who had fallen to her knees and was upset at having lost her Bakugan. She then remembered what Flash had done against Thunderlane and if she wanted to be seen as on his level, she had to live up to that same standard.
"Hey!" Trixie looked up and saw Lyra throw something, the magician catching it and seeing it was her Trickstar. "Keep it. Haos isn't really my thing." Trixie looked at her in shock. "But next time, maybe we leave Phantom out of our brawl."
Trixie's shocked expression was soon replaced by one of annoyance as she stood up. "Oh, mark my words. The next time we face off, the only one Trixie will be brawling for will be herself. And she will defeat you, be sure of that." With that, she pulled something out of her pocket and threw it to the ground. The smoke bombs exploded and when it faded, she was gone and the door she had been in front of was wide open.
She looked up at the crowd, taking in the cheers they were giving her, and then her eyes landed on her friends. She smiled up at them and they smiled back, whilst the crowd started chanting. "LYRA! LYRA! LYRA! LYRA!" She and Nimue couldn't help but smile the biggest smiles they had ever had. All over the stadium, their brawl was being shown on every TV and everyone was realising Flash wasn't the only Brawler that was worth challenging.
When Lyra left the battlefield, she would be swarmed by a bunch of brawlers wanting to take her and Nimue on. But as this happened, Phantom was once again watching from the rooftops. "It seems taking any of these new talking Bakugan is going to be a difficult task. But no matter." He held up the cube, all of the symbols on it now slightly faded. "Once I have you, they will all fall before us."
Despite Lyra's victory over Trixie, things would only get more and more difficult. And until the mysteries of the Bakugan were solved, nobody would be able to relax and enjoy themselves.
